From start to finish this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. My townhome was built in 2018, so very new. Austin was coming out to look at why we could not get hot water to the downstairs shower. Upon arrival, Austin told me that this was a very interesting problem and he needed to call his supervisor. I heard him talk to his supervisor and he did not even tell him the right explanation of the issue I was having. After getting off the phone with his supervisor, he looked at me and said that in order to fix the issue, the valve has to be completely replaced. $2500 and that they could not come out until the following week. I told him that this shower has maybe been used once, and there is no way that the valve is completely shot. I tried to fix the faucet myself and when putting it back together I think I put something in backwards because the water would not stop flowing even in the off setting. I asked Austin if he could please just take a look at the shower faucet to make sure I put it back right and he responded with ""There is nothing I can do"" and was unwilling to do anything. He said that what I should do is just turn the water off in the entire house when it is not being used and then turn it on whenever we need to use it LOL. What a joke. Right after Austin left I called another plumber that is more of a local person and he said right off the bat that what Austin did was not right, and dishonest. He guided me on the pieces that I needed to purchase ($80) at home depot and sent me a youtube video to help me install it. It fixed the issue and the shower was able to get hot water and was turning off fine. I am disgusted at the lack of effort and compassion that Austin and his supervisor (I think Willie) had. Austin did not touch anything, not a single screw and told me that it would be $2500. Long story short, I really hope that this is not happening to others and I hope that anytime Action plumbing comes to your house, you get a second opinion, because it could save you thousands of dollars. Instead, use a local plumber that will be considerate of your time and money. I am willing to pay for a good service, and Action plumbing does not provide that. Thanks Austin for pushing myself, and everyone I know to use anyone but Action. I will be posting my review on every single social media platform.

Be wary of using a coupon from Action!
We scheduled a drain cleaning and the ""FREE"" sewer camera inspection together. NO mention was made about not using both coupons. Jackson did a great job on the drain! Scott would not get on the flat roof to send the camera for the scheduled inspection because, he said, it was raining. When I called him later, he THEN said that the coupon ONLY means ""open access,"" which it does NOT state. He said, ""I'm tellin' ya that's what it means."" While in the home, he tried to get the lone elderly woman to agree to a new water heater install, replacing all the plumbing pipes in the house and installing a cleanout in the sewer (the cleanout estimate alone, was $500)!
I am glad my mom was smart enough to not agree to all the work he suggested when he was only supposed to come and do a sewer camera inspection!

Update: bumped my review to two stars after management called and talked with me for quite some time regarding how things were handled and what they could do better in the future. They offered some drain chemicals as a show of good will. Hopefully they make some changes.

I made a schedule for an FREE estimate. They quote me $2,800 for replacing the water heater, while other plumbers prices were $1,000 cheaper. I told the sales guy, that I was not interested that they were too expensive. The guy said, it $60 for the estimate. I told him the office told me it was a free estimate. The guy said It's free if we do the work, so its $60. I told him I was not going to pay him that I will talk to his office manager.
In spite, he got up and put his dirty work boots on the top of my chair, and started to tied his shoelaces there. I couldn't believe the degree of disrespect. Really trashy company. I will NEVER do business with them.

I had a drain that was clogged and about 3-4 inches of standing (clear) water in our basement. I called a rooter service (it must be a subsidiary of Action Plumbing because their trucks say Action and they answer the phone as Action Plumbing) and they came out the next day. They were hours late, but did show.

They told me that I had a collapsed drain and that it would be $2,500 to fix. This was a Friday. They were supposed to come back first thing Monday morning, but didn't' show until 3:00 pm. They continued to find/add things until my bill came to almost $6K. I am not disputing that anything they fixed didn't necessarily need to be done. The 2 guys that showed up were very friendly and respectful.

So far, besides the lateness, I felt I was treated fairly, although my plumbing expertice is limited. They had to come back this morning (Tuesday) to reroute my AC condensate line and brought with them 2 extra guys. These were the ""camera guys"". They said they would look at my main sewer line and let me know what they found. Not surprisingly, they found problems. I am not necessarily debating the validity of the issues, but am extremely annoyed at their high-pressure sales tactics. I told the one guy (that cornered me in my home office) that I would speak to my boyfriend, decide what we wanted to do (and how we were going to pay the now extra $6500) and would get back to them. I could tell the guy did not want to take that as an answer. He kept using scare tactics to get me to agree to the repair right then. I told him we were probably going to get a HELOC next year anyway and may have to move that up a bit. He didn't like that answer and offered up their 0% financing to get started ""right now"". I told him that I wasn't agreeing to anything or signing anything today about 3 times.

When we do decide to upgrade the sewer line (and we will be preemptive) we will not be using Action. They try to upsell everything. I just want an honest plumber that will tell me what is wrong and not try to upsell me on everything else with crazy high-pressured sales tactics.

Terrible. Over charged me $730 for a $15 capacitor replacement. Their Customer Service is a joke and has no ability to resolve disputes. They kept telling me I'd have to speak with a Shift supervisor and after 4 straight weeks of calling daily, still no call whatsoever. Basically charged me $700 an hour for this. I will never use this company again.

Our air conditioner went out this summer and I called to have someone come out and fix it. They came out and told me that my motherboard was fried and that it would be 2500.00 to fix it or they could replace the whole unit for 6000.00. I decided to get another opinion. I had to wait 5 more days for another company to come out, when the next company came out all that was needed to fix my air conditioner was a fuse! One fuse, not the whole motherboard. So Action Plumbing, Heathing... hires inept technicians or dishonest technicians. Either way not acceptable.

Ended up replacing both units well before the lifespan. Although the tech was nice in my initial review, I can't say the same for the products and their recommendations. Will never use these guys again and haven't since.

0 rating !!! Goodness, I would not do business with them. Firstly, the person who schedule the quote said we would like to be the last person to quote if you are getting several quotes. So they were schedule last. The guy did not even look at anything after I showed him the furnace. He asked what other quote did you get and do you have a paper quote. I told him the price and he said that is very cheap but I can match that. I asked about the seer high efficiency comparison. He said to me, why do you want to know, you are looking for the cheapest aren't you? What kind of salesman did they hire and the way the company do business. He kept saying the other company won't be around and I cannot get the warranty. He wanted me to make the decision right there. I booted him out, didn't want to deal with such pushy person with an attitude.

Called these yahoos on a Sunday when my AC stopped working on equipment that is 3 months old (installed by another HVAC company). Technician after consulting with his boss by phone proceeded to tell me my furnace all of the circuit board was fried from a power surge in my furnace (I had no idea we had a power surge... because it never happened) and told me to repair it would cost $3K (which he said would take 10 days to get parts) or replace for $6K (the furnace he wanted to replace was purchased from standard supply by another HVAC company for $2 grand and is 2 ton furnace that serves the area my kids sleep, we have two units in our house) and said he could replace same day (have the quotes in my email). I wwnt to make it super clear, his boss was calling the shots, this kid was super green. I told him no thanks and asked to pay his service fee and sent him on his way, he was persistent on replacement. Got in touch with Kelly's, the coil had frozen, told me to replace filter, turn off for 12 hours and then start again...

Guess what? AC works great! This is second time action has lied to me about equipment and pressured to replace. Call someone else.

This is the second time Action has pressured me to replace perfectly good working equipment at two different residences (we moved last fall).

Quotes from Sunday attached.
