I had Action Drain and Rooter Service do an inspection on a house I was looking to buy. It took several days for them to get back to my realtor regarding scheduling, and as such we couldn't get a time where I could be present. They did the sewer scope, and my realtor gave them my contact information for them to reach out regarding a bill and the report. We contacted them a few more times trying to give them my contact information or to pay the bill, and get the report and they were not responsive. After the inspection period of the house was over they started responding and wanted to know why were so late in paying the bill.

We had an inspection done for a house we had an offer on. Larry was great and thorough. Even though we received bad news he made it better. I couldn't of asked for a better man to work with. Great personality as well!

First thing Wednesday morning, our shower and toilet stopped draining. I called two companies, franchises.....and they informed me that they could not get to out home for at least 24 hours and one company not until 4:00 the next afternoon.

I then called a local family owned business, Action!!!

They were friendly and got a technician to our home in 15 MINUTES!! amazing.

Our tech was Shane and he did a stellar job and even explained everything that he did. Best of all, they only charged me $96 dollars for the entire hour.

I highly recommend this company and will use them again if I ever need any plumbing services.

Wish I could give them NO stars, but in order to write a review, had to give them one star So these guys came highly recommended by my boss, an attorney, so we went with them over other plumbers. My husband and I both work full time so we had my sister-in-law be present while the plumbers came to fix our toilet that was gurgling and filling with water and drains that weren't draining. Well I left a bunch of notes telling the guys that there was no problem in our half bath toilet or sink, only in the kitchen sink and our main bath shower/tub, sink, and toilet. Well this guy (supposedly a technician) STILL snakes our half bath sink and toilet and finds NOTHING. Well yeah, no shit! Because I told him there was no problem there! He then proceeds to stand around saying ""this doesn't make sense, there is no problem"". My sister-in-law again tells him that is because there is no problem in that area, and that the problem is in the main bathroom and the kitchen sink. Then he finally snakes our main bathroom and kitchen, he finds gunk in there and in the toilet, a couple of Clorox wipes (yeah my husband's bad). So he writes on the paperwork that he only went down a few feet and that there might be another problem. He didn't even test the toilet with the shower running, which was when the MAIN problem was occurring, and instead just said ""yep it's all good now"". Well we come home that evening and immediately turn on the shower and what do you know, the toilet is gurgling and filling up with water, STILL. So he basically fixed NOTHING. And our bill was $180.50!!!! WAY more than we anticipated, considering my boss had water all over his floors in October 2017 and they only charged him $120.00 for, if I remember correctly, an emergency visit. Anyway, as if that wasn't enough, I then call these people and the useless receptionists who ""doesn't know anything about pricing"" gets us over to a technician who proceeds to tell me that the guy who came out is ""really good"" and they're all ""great at what they do"" and that if we want him to come out tonight he's going to have to charge us an emergency rate and a weekend rate (this was Friday night that we called, they came on Friday morning). Well, I tell him that it is NOT an emergency, we don't have water spilling onto our floors and we can wait for an appointment and that we shouldn't be charged considering they never fixed the problem, and they charged me for something that was never an issue!!!! He tells me that that is the way they do things. So we basically got nowhere with these people and are still having issues. We are currently looking for a better company, and I recommend you do so also, because these people are unprofessional, incompetent and EXPENSIVE FOR NO REASON!

Quick to respond but they don't stand behind their work. Same drain had issues after they fixed it and they wouldn't come back out unless I paid the full charge again. I will not use them again.

I had a clogged sink that was impossible to use. Had Action come out to look at it. Corey spent a couple of hours using just about every tool he had to get it fixed. I had given up hope that it would ever work. Corey got the line unclogged and it's like Xmas morning at my house. Can't say enough good things about Corey and Action Drain. Very fair pricing and top-notch service. The best.

Thankfully I never needed a plumber before, and when the kitchen sink backed up, we gave it our best DIY effort, spending about $60 on Draino and then a snake. We should have saved the money and effort. I got a recommendation for Action and Loel had us fixed about an hour after I placed the call. It cost $134.50, on a Saturday afternoon. I would have saved nearly $50 if I waited until the work week, but with a hungry house to feed, and no sink or dishwasher, I would have spent over $50 eating out / take-out all weekend. Loel was great! Very nice, tidied up after his work, and explained and educated us.

We've had two encounters with them. The first one was when we bought our house. They helped with the inspection. Scoped our sewer and made sure everything was in good repair. Friendly, thorough, reasonably priced. Second, we had a sewer drain clog this year. We called them after hours. Frantic! We were expecting a bit of a wait and a huge bill. Neither were the case. They showed up within 30 minutes. Solved the problem fast! Then when our drain guy Loel gave us the 'damage' it wasn't damaging at all. Again, reasonably priced. Top notch!

If I could give a negative star, I would. Why is because the plumber is a dishonest. He came to my home, two hours late. He unclogged the pipe and stated there was zero evidence as to what was causing the clog. There was nothing brough up with his ""snake"" and no camera was used to look at what caused the clog. However, on the invoice to the landlord he said it was because I was doing laundry and I used the garbage disposal. This has led to a fight with the landlord. I will now, ultimately have to move. I would NEVER use this company nor EVER recommend them to anyone. FYI, this is the 3rd year having plumbing issues, the same as our neighbors.
