Charlie DePari, a Kissimmee local, established Ace in 1994, initially focusing on electrical services. We have since expanded our services to encompass plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and solar solutions.

I wish I looked at yelp before I went with Ace! I had 5 smoke alarms installed. They charged me over $1000! I looked at the price of the smoke alarm online, and the most expensive one of $60! So basically they charged me over $200 per alarm. I will never recommend them, they are thieves! They justified the price because they said anyone can just change a smoke detector, we send the """"best"""" electrician and all their electricians are licensed and certified. Also they justify it because of the warranty. Listen I don't care if you send me the best, this is bad business practice. Yeah it's true, anyone can change smoke detectors, I would have done it myself if I didn't have a physical disability. So absolutely anyone can do it, that still does not justify the price of a $30 smoke detector to $200 just because you send the best electricians who know what they are doing! I saw what he was doing, it was nothing but drilling and plugging things in. It didn't take more than 45 mins! Avoid this company at all costs!

Let me preface this by saying we have had Ace add and replace breakers to the breaker box, add outdoor security lighting and add outdoor power outlets before and had nothing but excellent quality service. Prices may have been a little high, but I am willing to pay for good service and quality work. Sounds like a lot of the problems people have had are with plumbing work being done, so maybe the plumbing side of the house is not as good as the electrical. On to my tale. We had a nasty electrical fire break out in our main electrical box Friday the 30th of June, late in the day. Thanks to a good neighbor who saw the smoke and my wife's super fast action, the fire was quickly put out with our handy extinguisher. Duke energy showed up within an hour and cut the power line between the house and the pole. They were then able to restore power to our neighbors. We called Ace Solves It All that evening since we had them do electrical work for us before and they are listed as having 24 hour emergency service. By that time it was too late in the evening for them to come out and do anything. However, they called and Matt showed up bright and earlier around 7:30 on Saturday morning. He was able to make a run and get all the necessary parts. Matt was then able to completely rebuild the box, meter, the receiver stack and surge protector. He was able to finish up just before the afternoon rains set in. Matt did a great job and used top quality parts to give a us a brand new main electrical box. Now for the fun part, getting the county to inspect and permit. Long story, made slightly shorter. Through my persistence and the help of a friend were able to get the county to come and inspect it on Monday even though the next day was the 4th of July and a lot of folks had taken long weekends. Another huge plus for Ace was their permitting guy who made a special trip to our house to finish the permitting paperwork and then hand delivered to the county to be filed that day. So, now, with the inspection and permitting done it was a matter of getting Duke energy to come back and reconnect the power line. This proved more difficult than you might think. But after multiple phone calls a truck came out on the 4th of July and gave us back our electricity. The house powered up and everything has worked great ever since. We are super big fans of Ace and will continue to use them for all our home service needs. The Excellent - Matt for a great job rebuilding everything, Dwight for coming out and getting the permitting taken care of, Orange County for coming out and doing the inspection in a timely manner. The good - Duke energy electrical crew who took care of a dangerous situation quickly and the very good crew who came to restore our power. The cost for Ace Solves It All was a little on the high side but their service quality easily made up for it. The bad - Duke energy corporate offices and outage reporting. These people have some of the worst customer service EVER. It was like trying to push a loaded semi truck up a hill to get them to put in the order to restore our power. Lessons learned - Make sure and maintain your generator. I have a good one that is 13 years old and going strong that saved our bacon, literally. We were able to run our refrigerator, lights, fans and even a small portable room A/C unit that kept us from being roasted alive in the sweltering summer heat for four days. Also, make sure and have fire extinguishers handy. I immediately replaced mine and added a small one to the garage.

Unless you have money to burn call any other electrical company. This company really takes advantage of your situation. We called ACE Solves It All to get a service man to replace an outlet. When he arrived and checked it out, he said it was a breaker. He had us sign a quote for $329.17 before he would proceed. The entire replacement took him less than 20 minutes. I checked on line later and the breaker was worth $39.00 After that he sat around and talked for an hour before we could get him to leave. I feel that being senior citizens we were taken advantage of. I have found that we were greatly overcharged and want to lodge a complaint to try to protect others and give them a 'Heads up' in dealing with unscrupulous service people. We understand that everyone has a right to make a living but why on the backs of fixed income elderly? We at fault for signing the proceed quote.

IF I could select a 0 stars - I would. The worst customer service ever, and the worst technical service. Called to have unit cleaned. Technician would not clean it, told me we had to buy a new one! wouldn't be liable for taking apart to clean. Basically came into my home to sell me something, nothing more. Used the old 'vacuum cleaner salesman techniques to tell me how bad my unit was. Not in the house 5 minutes before the sales pitch started and the technical visit ended. Called another AC Service company with INTEGRITY who came to my house the next day and performed the service I requested for a minimal & fair service charge. DO NOT BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE - call STAR A/C if you want Honesty and Reliability.

Donnie came out in the time frame promised. He was helpful and professional; gave us a lot of good advice. Very friendly. Good clean-up. Highly recommended. Thought the price was a little high.

Set a two hour time window, never called and then showed up an hour after the window without a courtesy """"we're on our way"""" call. Then wanted $475 for a job that needed less than 50$ in parts and would take an hour and a half (plumbers own estimate) to complete. Tried to sell me on a repipe of the entire house while he was at it. Never again will I call this company.

I recently installed a new a/c based with Ace based on the recommendation of a relative. The technicians were excellent, reliable and professional. The company management on the other hand are a disgrace. The salesman sold me an installation that could not be performed and they didn't want to credit me for the services the could not provide. A vent was installed over the thermostat which would not allow the unit to run as it should. After several e-mails the said they would move the thermostat """"as a courtesy"""" but they would recommend installing another vent for $1k, never mind they are the professionals who should have known what was need. Not even once has any one in management contracted me to discuss all the issues and inconveniences they put me through, all communications were with their office staff. The warranty registration was also sent to the manufacturer with the incorrect information, they have yet to contact me on this one. After a month of waiting I had to contact the manufacturer to get the warranty information corrected. I don't recommend this company based on the experience with their management, it's a shame these technicians work there. They deserve better. I REGRET GOING WITH THEM.

I called ACE today and they were out to repair my mother-in-laws circuit breakers very fast. They charged a good, market rate price, so I was satisfied. I did my homework on the estimate for the work and they were right on point. The technician was very knowledgeable, quick, clean and polite. I would highly recommend ACE Solves if All for any electrical, plumbing or air conditioning service. We use them for our A/C all the time. Love this company!

Dishonest!!!! Returned to a home with no AC late at night. Ace came the next day and charged me a $1,000 for new parts and repairs, and gave me a quote for a new unit. I requested another couple quotes (just in case) and Ace was by far the highest bid. When another company installed the new unit, they informed me that the parts that I paid for were NEVER installed. Let's call a thief, a thief...

PLEASE think twice before using this company! I have been fighting over a $2033.14 bill for the past 6 months. Their Customer Service sucks if there is a problem. If they can stick it to you they love you to death. If you complain, they ignore you. Constantly one problem after another once you let them walk through the door. You are always being told you """"need"""" something else. It cost me over $400 to install a faucet that I bought. Handling this matter with the BBB Bureau currently. Will be going to media and legal counsel if this isn't resolved within 7 days.
