I live in a condo built in 1973. I wanted to install an Ecobee, but my system doesn't have a C wire. It is also a combo heating and air unit, so more complicated. Ecobee recommended Ace after I had called all over the place looking for someone that would be able to do the work (everyone lacked the knowledge). Aaron came out installed and it didn't work. He determined I had a broken wire somewhere between upstairs and downstairs - and the wiring on the unit had been incorrectly done (I have not touched it since I bought the place a year ago). Aaron scheduled a follow up time where he and another technician could come out and rerun the wire. They were prompt and got the job done. I'd definitely recommend them and use them again if I run into any issues. Thanks Aaron


UPDATE!! (6/12): My AC Unit failed - triple digit temps! I called ACE and they sent Aaron out the same day. A part had failed. He identified it and repaired it - all in less than an hour. I would definitely recommend ACE and Aaron. They have the skill set to get the job done!

Don't hire. This company will try and scam you. They were hired by my home warranty company to replace a coil in August/sept.. When they did the work, they didn't place the pan back where it needed to be and I had water leaking in two bedroom ceilings. They argued with me that it wasn't them until they came out and found it was. Fast forward to this season and first time I go to use the ac, blowing hot air. I call them back out. The tech never looked at the work they did just tested around the compressor with a sensor saying it was rusted out, not holding Freon and needed to be replaced (couldn't be repaired). $3,700. Not trusting a company that doesn't even check their own work, hired another tech. He ran dye through the system and found the compressor was fine and didn't leak. But the two bolts to the TVX that Ace worked on weren't tightened and that is where ALL my Freon leaked out. I now have nice cool AC; no thanks to ACE. Shoddy work and lacking integrity.

We have been using Ace for several years now. Signed up for their twice a year HVAC inspection deal. It has been a great thing to do as they remind us to make an appointment when the change out to AC from heating and vice versa is needed. The same technician, Aaron, has been coming to house for the last few years and really knows our system and has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful

A/c stopped working. Gave Ace a call and they had a tech out earlier than the window they had estimated same day. Aaron G and Jeremy N promptly found the leak and arranged to get the part needed. They are now fixing the problem even though we are on vacation. Thank you Ace.

I have been using Ace for nearly 20 years. They are reliable, professional and the job is always done to my satisfaction. Aaron came out today and was great. He gave a 30 minute heads up call before he arrived. He was quick and thorough. Highly recommend Ace. They are completely reliable with great customer service.

Had them out to remove a toilet, tub faucet and shower head and install utility sink faucet (which I already had). Took two hours after they were 45 minutes late- had to look for the gut 3 times as he was out at his truck ( he said looking for tools). The work did get completed correctly. He fudged 15 minutes on his start time and his end time. Insisted it was necessary to replace supply lines at triple plus the normal retail price. 2 hours for a 45 minutes charged- $517.27.
I called to request they review the bill and their representative, Poppy, said they have gps clocks on their truck to track time. When I said the guy sat in his truck before and after (not working on my job) she answered what was he doing? I said I don't know - (obviously not working) I'm sure their techs have figured out the truck timer tracking.
This job should have taken no more than an hour. Unfortunately my regular plumber was not available at the last minute so I called Ace Plumbing. Not again. I highly recommend not hiring them.

I always receive exceptional service from Aaron. He is very professional and honest. He always keeps in contact regarding parts and appointment times. I am one who asks a lot of questions and like to understand what is going on with the plumbing or AC system. Aaron always takes the time to explain to me and show me how something works and why I am having issues. He is definitely my go to guy for any plumbing or AC needs. He can be trusted for sure!

UGh. I don't like writing negative reviews, but unfortunately have to because I am very disappointed with Ace Plumbing. Had clogged toilets and called for help. Two plumbers came out, both with ""chew"" in their cheeks - Spitting onto lawn as they were explaining the process to unclog. 2 1/2 hours later they still were unable to fix. Told me I had to call City of Sac to locate main or get the schematics for property. Huh? Called the city and they responded immediately. They told me it wasn't a city issue and that there were no schematics available. Blah, blah, blah. The city then returned a couple days later with as much info as they had. They informed me this was the plumbers responsibility and they went over and beyond - shout out to them. Called another company who cleared the clog in less than 45 mins. Easy as that. The clincher is that Ace charged me almost $400 for trying to fix the problem. They left me with non- working toilets and still charged me! I paid because they did attempt and I felt that they deserved something for their effort. In hindsight, I should have contested the charge and only paid a portion. My lesson learned. This is a company that my office building.uses as well and they are coming back today to fix leaky toilet that was just installed ($950) 2 weeks ago. Needless to say, my building will not be using their services either and that's a big account

Ace Plumbing is AMAZING!! This review is for Curt (I hope I spelled it right) lol. My fiance and I just moved into a new rental and surprisingly we were welcomed to a freezing cold house cause the heater went out.

We reached out to our manager who got in contact with Ace Plumbing. Upon Curt's arrival he called to make sure I was home and it was okay for him to come by. I asked him to get here as fast as he could jokingly of course. When he arrived he was very sweet, got right to work, and explained everything as best as he could. He even gave us some other very insightful information about other future problems we could prevent.

While he fixed on the heater my fiance and I hide out in the kitchen trying to give Curt space while he worked but he continued to keep us informed on what he was doing and even welcomed us to watch. The greatest part about this whole experience was that he was QUICK and so very sweet! Our manager had asked to be contacted before completing the job (i guess based on the price) after all 3 of us calling multiple times Curt made the call and said ""Well,I'm just going to continue to fix the problem. It's cold and raining I couldn't imagine leaving you guys without heat"". Our manager called shortly after approving him to continue although he was already done but he could of gave us a hard time. Curt you are AMAZING! Your customer service will keep any company in business. Keep up the great work!! Highly recommend this company and HIGHLY recommend Curt. Thank you again!!

Ivan was professional and efficient. He was able to come out within an hour of me calling and had my laundry drain pipe replaced and ready within 30 minutes of arriving.
