Ace Plumbing is your classic overcharge and up-sell racket. I had a simple sewer clog, and the guy took 30 minutes (paid of course) to get setup. He cleared the drain and called me when he was finished. 45 minutes later he called me AGAIN to tell me he needed to run a camera down my drain ""just to make sure."" WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING THERE? I asked. He said my sewer line did not meet code and that they'd need to do $980 in additional work. I have worked in plumbing, so I told him he didn't know what he was talking about. Of course, they charged me for the 45 minutes AFTER he was done to boot. An ordinary homeowner might have fallen for his lies and taken by their scam. Avoid this company at all costs!

Like most people, we called Ace Plumbing in an emergency. Our technician was Adrian. He had such a calm and reassuring manner. We instantly knew we were in safe hands. It ended up being a fairly major job, over almost two full days. It wasn't cheap but the pricing was fair and well explained. When the work was done and signed-off, all that remained was to fill in a hole with earth. We asked if we could do this to save some $. They knocked $300 off the price, which seemed very reasonable and flexible. Maybe not the best choice for non-urgent jobs, due to cost, but these guys are great if you're in a fix.

They've now fixed two things in our house for us: our air conditioner unit and our spare bathroom toilet. Both times they answered my call immediately, scheduled appointments based on my flexibility, and successfully repaired our issues.

I don't really think that we were over charged. The price seemed fair to me and to my husband. They told us to watch the spare bathroom toilet carefully because if it started to leak again, they would come out (for free) to fix it again.

Would never, ever use or recommend Ace Heating & Plumbing. They installed new ducts in my house and (a) did not get a permit (b) did not test the ducts (c) sealed a return they said I didn't need because they were lazy (they were wrong). There were a couple other problems as well (like being told the system was cleaned when it was not). Worthless, absolutely worthless.

My grandmother's kitchen sink was clogged. She called Ace Plumbing and they came right away. The plumber that came out said he was unable to snake the drain due to an old fitting and would have to come back out with additional help the next day, open the wall and replace the fitting. The estimate for this service was $1800, which she declined to have done. He charged her $108 for coming out (and not fixing anything). My mother referred her to Roy's Plumbing. He came out first thing the next morning, fixed the clogged sink within 30 minutes and charged her less than Ace did. If you're looking for an honest plumber that's going to get the job done and isn't just out for a quick buck...avoid Ace Plumbing!!! Call Roy's Plumbing!

We have used Ace numerous times in the past for our house and both of our rentals. They are very expensive but respond quickly. That said, I will never use them again. During a family crisis, we had numerous family members from out of town visiting. Of course, our plumbing backs up. In an effort to fix the problem quickly we called Ace. They came right out. The plumber fixed the problem by bringing in a piece of machine that was only supposed to be used outside. After he left, I noticed five large marks on our bathroom tile. I couldn't remove them. When I called and spoke to the manager, he was incredibly rude and condescending. It was ridiculous. I will never use them again. There are far cheaper companies that actually value their customers.

We had a clog which was flooding our basement then moved to the kitchen on Christmas Eve after 5 pm. We called Ace and someone came out within the hour. Jesse was very helpful and had us back to holiday celebrating faster than I imagined. The price was lower than I expected on a holiday after hours. I have used Ace in the past and have never had a bad experience. I would recommend them to friends and neighbors.

if you need a plumber and have leaks do not use this company. first of all, a plumber will come to your house or place of business and have not tools with him. yes, i said not ""tools"". he will have to go back to the shop and get his tools and charge you for him being gone. what kind of scam is that?? do not use this company for a any problem for leaks. i used them the first time and a leak apprear 6 weeks later. same plumber and he did not have any tools with him. needed to go back to the shop and get him tools again. this time i said no way. don't bother coming back and called another plumbing company and they found the leak and fixed it.

horrible! I was robbed! The technician came and broke my pipe then said It was old and I had to replace my whole sink in my garage because the pipe broke in the sink. After snaking the sink it didn't even clear the clog! All he had to do was snake the cleanout near the kitchen! They charged me over 400 bucks!!! Will never ever call them again!!! I called Armstrong plumbing and they cleared my sewer line for 165! They were great!! I reccommend Armstrong plumbing for all your plumbing needs!

Watch out for this company. It will sell you repairs and parts NOT NEEDED for
huge prices.
I was quoted 2300.00 for an air cond. part : new coil. plus they demanded a contract before they install it. Then they claim I need new ductwork for a thousand more.

I got another opinion and the unit was fixed the same day for 500.00, plus the duct work is fine. The AC unit works fine now.

This type of company gives Air Conditioning repair service bad names, just as
unscrupulous car dealers steal your money for either lousy cars, or
repairs not needed.
