This review is for Robert Hill of Ace Home services. Robert communicated, before, during and after our toilet issue was resolved. There were several issues, but he addressed each one with a professional attitude. A nice young man who cared about getting us back in 'business.'

He even addressed our invoice issue, and may have saved us as a customer.
Unrelated to Robert, we are not at all happy with Hero Plumbing merger with Ace Home services.

I have no water to my house. I called Ace to get someone out to look at replacing hose bib assy. They were very quick to arrive. The tech said he couldn't do it tonight because they only do clogs with 24 hour service. I would be second on list for tomorrow. I was then given a quote of $1500+ for a job that would take a couple of hours as per the Tech himself. The parts are a minimum cost, maybe a hundred or two at most. This job would cost upwards of $650/hr. I don't think a brain surgeon charges that per hour. Unfortunately, I have a bad taste in my mouth because it's a great way to make a quick $59 to assess the project and then give the customer a huge quote so he has no choice but to shop around or pay that outrageous price. I know plumbers are not cheap and is also what the tech told me. Come on, I'm all for a company making a good profit, but to charge someone that has no water to his home and gouge is pathetic. If anyone other than this company thinks my review is off base I'm willing to listen

Tyler was really straightforward and sincere. He worked to make sure my repairs were done correctly and cleaned up the work spaces afterwards. I like that he gave me information that saved me time. I'll keep a note of it in the future. The only thing is I wish I found him sooner for my previous repairs. This company will be my go to for plumbing repairs.

Our condo A/C was leaking water and Marcus identified the problem and we are waiting for parts to complete the work. He has been exceptional in all regards, especially with communication. I am looking forward to the work being completed and then will update my review.

Was going to give ACE a try and set up an appointment to fix my water softner.

Never got to work with ACE as they apparently had a question for me and phoned me 3 times. I don't pick up numbers I don't recognize and they never left a message.

When the service tech didnt show up, i called ACE and was told that since they didn't reach me, they canceled the appointment.

Seems unprofessional to me to call a customer and not leave a message. They didn't offer to reschedule or anything, so I just said thanks and hung up.

Javier and Ryan did an amazing job. Quick, efficient, knowledgeable and transparent on what services we needed to keep our old unit going. Ensured we were aware of everything and set expectations that they did not want our unit crashing in the middle of the Summer. I would highly recommend either for both of them.

We engaged what we thought was AZ Best (now understand they were bought by ACE Home Services) to do some plumbing work in two showers to prep for a remodel. As part of the work, they replaced the existing shower valves. After charging a large amount ($2625) for all the work - two days later I discovered that they sawed through the drywall into the adjoining rooms in one of the showers. I called to report the damage, several days later I received a call and was told that the supervisor would come to our house on a specific day to inspect the damage. He never showed up. Then upon completion of the shower tile installation, we had another plumber come to install the shower faucet trim. Immediately he noticed that the valves had been installed incorrectly - the trim would not lie flush against the tile. I had to incur the cost of tile being removed on one shower (because the valve was installed on an exterior wall) and further cutting through of the adjacent wall on the other shower so that the plumber could re-install the valves correctly. Then I had drywall repair and re-installation of the tile that was removed. This all came to $1200. I have placed numerous calls with ACE Home Services and they have yet to address any of the issues. I keep being told a guy named Keith needs to give me a call but he has yet to do so, after I have left him 4 voice messages and I'm told by their customer service department that they have sent Keith two emails. I am now forced to file a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors.

Our service man was Jiuhua. He was very conscientious and did a fantastic job in replacing angle stops, sink basket strainer and installing a new reverse osmosis system. He explained and showed us what he was doing. He is an asset to your firm.

They came over to service my unit ,
The technician was very nice
He told me that I need a new air conditioner .
I asked him if he can just fix a couple of parts in the compressor he said yes
and priced the repair for $1,900
no warranty because my unit was too old .
how ever he priced me a new air system for $20,000 dollars!
I called another company referred from a fellow contractor, he told me that one of the parts ACE recommended to be change was working fine .
he fixed the compressor for $470 including a much needed clean up.
He gave me a price for a new system for $7,500 labor and equipment!!!
For a Trane brand 4 tons Which is the same unit that I have for 29 years!!!
It pays to be a contractor and to know a lot of people in the trades .

Ace Home Services was contacted to perform the annual checkup and service of my home A/C unit. Aubrey was the technician sent to do the job. Upon arrival he was very personable, professional and considerate. His job knowledge was excellent . He checked my entire system inside and outside the home. My system was in good shape and did not need have extensive work that needed to be done. Based on this experience with Ace I would recommend them and will use them again if necessary. A special thanks to Aubrey for taking care of my A/C unit this year. Ace could not have sent a better tech to my house than Aubrey. I'm very pleased.
