Awful experience. My furnace is 12 years old. THe tech came in and without even opening it he said we need a new furnace because its too old. Then, he went to one of my rental properties, without talking to me, I had three of my tenants saying the tech Jeremy told them the furnances were so dangerous the were going to die. He got them all scared and freaked out. He also turned their furnaces AND hot water heaters off.
Luckily he would give me a good deal on three new ones. I had another furnance guy come out, cleaned the furnances and gave them all a clean bill. My wife keeps calling the owner Nick a snake oil salesman. Beware if you call them, and your furnace isnt brand new, you will definitely need a new one.

Amazing company! I cannot fully express how impressed I was with this company! Our AC unit went out on us and ACE was very prompt in helping us fix the problem. Since our furnace and air conditioning units are 20+ years old, we decided to go have ACE replace them. ACE was honest and competitive with their pricing. ACE will be the only company to touch our HVAC unit!

Do NOT let this company scam you like they did to me! Their ""combo"" coupon draws you in and then they find something else wrong (when there is nothing wrong!). They also did not hold up to their ""senior"" discount. When I called them out on their way of doing business the answer I got from both Alana and Nick was ""we don't do crazy""! All my suspicions were confirmed by a second opinion.

This business gets 0 stars. My parents paid them $100 to take a look at their furnace. The guy came, took the money and left. Never fixed the problem and never returned there calls. Don't recommend them to anyone! What horrible customer service!

We got a new hot water heater installed. We called one day, and it was installed the following day. Their pricing was competitively the best in the area. Nick and Mike did a great install job. They took off their shoes in the house and put down spill rugs on the basement stairs just in case. They did a meticulous install. Everything was cleaned up thoroughly before they left. Both guys were courteous and nice. I highly recommend Ace Heating and Cooling. P.S. Ellana in the office was very polite and had great people skills. She answered all my questions about water heaters. She really knew her stuff.

I wish I would have read these reviews before my wife and I hired Ace Heating & Cooling. We could not be more displeased. What began as a simple job more than doubled in cost. Then they abandoned the job (it still isn't finished), and the work they did complete was absolutely awful. If I could post pictures here I would, as that would tell you everything you need to know about how they do business. Don't make the mistake we did. Use any other company. You literally can't do worse.

Went to the wrong address. Stated that they would be coming to the correct one later that day. Failed to show up. I called and they said they were on their way. Never showed up so I called again and no answers. We left a msg and the owner called back cussing and asking us for our green cards. Even asked if we are ""wet"". Extremely unprofessional and racist. I do not recommend.

We just had a great experience with Ace!

Our furnace was not working properly during an especially cold streak these past couple days, which means our house was getting very uncomfortable. We had called a company very close to our house, and immediately (without really spending much time looking at anything) they told us that the furnace was going out and we should replace it immediately. We were put in a very high pressure situation, as they made us believe that it could not be fixed.

Luckily, my mom referred me to Ace, who had done work for her last year. She had raved about how great they were, and since she is not the type to just recommend anyone, we have them a call. Jeremy came by within an hour or two to check things out. He was very nice, and actually took a look at our furnace. He got it up and running, but let us know that a part had to be replaced. It was clear he was going to do everything he could to fix our current furnace before recommending replacement. I really appreciate and respect that.

Long story short, he did fix the initial problem, but then another part went out shortly after that, making a replacement necessary. When this happened, Jeremy and the owner, Nick, really took care of us and were able to schedule our installation for next day (a Saturday). With the very cold weather, there was no way we would have been able to stay at our house had they not gotten this done so quickly.

The price was also very reasonable. I truly feel like we got a lot of value for our money. I would certainly recommend Ace, and we will be calling them in the future if anything else comes up.

My recent experience with Ace Heating and Cooling left me feeling like I had been taken advantage of due to their unfair and unscrupulous business practices. I say that, because as I came to realize, the company was misleading and deceptive in what they promised me. I agreed to buy a water heater, air conditioner and furnace combo package, and a residential maintenance agreement. However, they changed the cost of the items and the terms of the contract from one day to the next. They also substituted agreed upon items. But most egregiously, there was a complete disregard for the 3-day grace period allowed under Illinois law to decline the contract. Instead they refused to refund my $500 deposit (which I paid in good faith), without any explanation, except to say that it was non- refundable. I had received no services, nor any goods, but yet they cashed my deposit check the very next day. As mentioned, the contract language was flawed and non-binding under law, but that did not matter to them. I would definitely not recommend Ace Heating and Cooling to anyone, for fear that you might also get duped and be out a lot of money. There are plenty of other companies out there. Ace Heating and Cooling is definitely one to steer clear of. You will be glad you did.
