Awful experience. They couldn't find the leak in our pool and still charged an arm and a leg to make repairs that didn't matter! Total rip off artists. Stay clear.

I scheduled an appointment with this company for a pool leak detection 10 days in advance. One hour before our appointment they called and said they couldn't make it to the appointment. I had made all sorts of arrangements and taken the day off work to be there for their visit. That is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful with other people's time. They told me to find another company to do the job. Really? With 1h notice? Who is going to do that?! I'd leave negative reviews if I could!

So, I had a leak in my main water line running from the street to my home. I had Jump-to-it plumbing come out for a free inspection. The guy told me he was sure I had a leak, but did not attempt to find it. He told me he would just dig a new trench to run a new line. This would include tearing up my yard, but also, jack hammering out my sidewalk and cement that we laid close to our home. His estimate was $5,700. That did not include replacing the concrete that they would remove.
The next day, I had scheduled Accurate Leak Detection to also find the leak and give me an estimate. I knew the leak detection would cost me $275. Well, Wayne and Jordan showed up. It took them a while to find the leak, but they did find it. Also, they traced my original line from the street to my home electronically. It took them about 8 hours start to finish to find the leak, dig to the line (through some pretty thick tree roots), fix the line, and fill the whole back in. The cost, $800. Now this is not cheap, but for 8 hours of labor (2 people), the know how to find the leak and fix it, and their tools and knowledge, it was priceless.
Had I just had them just find the leak, and tried to fix it myself would have been a joke. This project would have taken me two to three days to fix, if I could have done it at all. Also, I was able to make it to work that night, since they finished by 6pm, because I had running water to take a shower. Otherwise, I would have had to miss a day or two of work just trying to fix my own leak.
So, they fixed my leak, guaranteed the work for a year, and now I'm not paying an extra $200/month in water bills. That's about what the leak had cost me in the previous 2-3 months.
Also, if they did have to replace the entire line, they quoted me a fair price of $1,600. Now, they were not going to destroy any of my property like the previous company was going to do. They use a system that just pulls the new line through the existing line cutting it as the new line passes through the old one.
I give Accurate an A++ for good honest work. Thanks Wayne and Jordan. Also, thanks to the owner! I believe his name was Chris. He came at the end of the day to help his guys finish the job.

We used Accurate Leak Detection to help us locate a leak in our fibre glass in ground pool. They came to our property and performed a dye test around all inlets and outlets accessible without getting into the pool. Not finding anything, a pressure test was then performed on the plumbing yielding nothing as well. Over a course of two weeks, the company came back multiple times marking our skimmer inlet to see how fast the water level was going down. A few days ago, the company came back and sealed around the skimmer inlet with silicone. Upon inspecting the work a couple days later, it does not look like the company has much pride in the work they produce. Silicone was simply gobbed around the outside and inside of the skimmer. Silicone was everywhere, what a mess! Someone show this company how to run a silicone bead! If the skimmer is the root of our water leak, I am doubtful the job they performed is creating a proper seal.
Communication was a whole other issue. Throughout the entire process, I was constantly having to contact the company to understand what steps they are taking next and when they are coming back. In most cases, I was never called back. The whole experience felt completely disorganized and plain disappointing.

I am giving this company a single star for possibly finding the leak but nothing for their workmanship and communication.

Water Leak Detection: $275
Sloppy Silicone Fix ~5 minutes: $100

Please keep in mind that I made the mistake of cleaning up some of the silicone mess before I took my pictures as seen in the photos I uploaded.

Pretty pathetic outfit. I have some type of leak that has caused my water bill to triple in the past few months. My pool person and I are at a loss as to the reason. These guys were scheduled for their FIRST appointment last week. They left a VM the day before or the actual day and said they couldn't make it due to an emergency at an apartment house. Fair enough. I called Linda at the office and scheduled the SECOND appointment for Tues, Jan 3. About an hour before the scheduled time a tech calls, asks where I am located and then said he's on the other side of town and can't make it. I advised him that he really needed to talk with his office. I then called the office and scheduled a THIRD appointment for 2pm today, with the usual ""they'll call when on the way"". Needless to say, I received no call today and when I tried contacting Linda at the office number, it just goes to voice mail.

Three strikes and they're out. Out of business? For their sake, I hope not, but it wouldn't surprise me the way this make believe company is operated.

Terrible company ! I had a leak in the spa outside the house by the pool! Did not have the right equipment for leak detection ! Completely destroyed the pipes! They chisel and cut everywhere! They charged 1100.00 and said the job was done ! Then the tub still leaked I called them back and realized they don't know what they're doing! And they wanted more money! 1000 more! Got an expert to come and analyze the job and they were horrified of all the stuff done to the tub! They knew that they were not suppose to chisel the pipes and on top of that cut them in many pieces! Be careful with these people they're not reliable!

I really didn't want to write this review, but I would be doing yelp a disservice by not sharing this story with other people.

We scheduled a leak detection with this company a week in advance, and the only time they had available was on Monday at 9am. On Sunday they cancelled and rescheduled for Tuesday between 9am and 9:30am. This isn't a big deal ~ but kind of unprofessional imho.

The 2 guys showed up to the house Tuesday on time and ready to take a look at the pool. They took one look at the house, then walked to our backyard and saw our pool and our view overlooking the 18th green on a golf course and saw $$. The guy immediately said, oh wow, you must've paid up for a view like this; which made me kind of uncomfortable to begin with but whatever. He said, well your husband said he stopped running the pool 4 days ago correct?

Me: Yes.

Him: That's a lot of water loss.

Me: Well it's only like 4"", and I'm sure the sweltering sun and evaporation don't help, but I guess.

Him: Well, we will probably have to drain the pool which is going to cost extra, and pressure test all the valves and...

Me: *interrupting him* Uhm, shouldn't you just check the small things first to make sure it's not some easy fix like the light, and intake whatever it is? I mean, draining the pool is thousands of gallons of water and that's going to cost a fortune to refill.

Him: Well I guess we'll check the small things first then, and we'll be sure to call your husband before doing anything else.

This is when I went inside the house, immediately called my boyfriend (he's not my husband) I told him what had happened and that I had a super bad feeling about this guy-- like they were going to try to take advantage of us. My boyfriend said he was pretty sure he was still on the hook for the $350 leak investigation fee, and to let them look at the pool, but then assured me he would also call them to make sure they were competent and not going to do anything drastic... like draining the pool before they check the small, most common issues.

So... my boyfriend calls them and the pool guys leave. When I asked what happened, my boyfriend told me that they said the normal leak detection rate is $350, but we have the ""Cadillac"" of pools and that he was going to have to charge us extra.

Sketchy, unprofessional, immoral, opportunists. I would not recommend this company.

I had really high water bills. Hoping I had a leak in my irrigation system,
I checked on it. Actually, I had a leak in my main water line from the meter to the house. I called the Yes Man plumbing. 2 guys showed up in squeaky clean trucks and ironed shirts. I' m sure they could have replaced the line, but they were just too expensive for me.
A buddy at work gave me a card for Advanced Leak Detection.
Nelson and Phil came out. I was immediately impressed with their confidence and knowledge. They explained what was needed and gave me options. I went with total line replacement. These guys don't fool around. They went right at it ! Everything was cleaned up and I couldn't ' be happier. Good job guys !
Now I am thinking about having them put a sink in my garage. Money well spent...5 stars for the company and the employees.

Chris and Dave came out and did an assessment of a possible propane leak. Arrived on time and was very thorough in checking all equipment attached to the propane tank. Turned out after a helium pressure test that there wasn't a leak after all. Gave us price of mind though and happy with their services.
