Called Accurate Leak and Line out to find a leak in my rainwater collection system lines. They came out with camera for 30 min and could not locate the leak. He told me they would come back with camera, locator, and another plumber to track down the leak and repair it. The next day I received a bill for $300 which I promptly paid in order to expedite them coming back out to continue tracking down leak. Once I paid the bill I was informed that they were not going to be able to come out after all and that I should call somebody else. Very frustrating as I was under the impression that they were leak detection specialists and this seemed like a pretty straightforward drain line leak that should be relatively easy for them to troubleshoot.

Great service today from team: Samuel, Clayton, Curtis. Came out and gave timely diagnosis of problem and remediated quickly. Great work!

UPDATE: in response to your direct lie that your work was done with proper permits and correctly. Josh (owner) I realize you're frustrated because I called you out on two specific violations which I clearly explained. I told you I am happy to pay full price and that I would be filing a complaint against your company with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners. I did exactly what I said I would do, unlike your company which misrepresented the work you completed and the blatant unethical practices. Have fun dealing with the State of Texas plumbing enforcement department for the clear violations you committed. I even cited the exact portions you violated so you can cut and paste snippets and alter them to try to make yourself feel better, but you are still wrong and a dishonest company.
0/10 would not recommend. Dishonest practice. Bring them in for a small repair and you will quickly find them trying to replace your entire plumbing system. Hired a second company and they were much more straightforward and only fixed what actually needed to be fixed. These guys cut corners by not filing permits on their work, which only creates an extra hassle for homeowners. I've filed official complaints with the Texas Board of Plumbing Examiners for their practices. If you want to get screwed over hire these guys.

It was an absolute nightmare to deal with this company! From talking to our buyer without our permission (and before talking to us!) to threatening to put a lien on our house the day work was completed and before the permit was given by the city - after they had already tried to complete it without a permit until we caught them in the act, this company and their owner, Josh, was completely unprofessional and made it clear that they are in this for the money. There are too many plumbing companies in Austin to risk hiring this one! If you do hire them, be very careful that they are pulling permits and completing work as described in the quote.
Edited: Josh, I'm laughing that you edited my husbands email below. We have filed claims with the city of Austin for the work you tried to complete without permits and will allow them to settle this dispute. Again, you've proven what a horrible ethic you and your company have and how unprofessional you are. I worn anyone looking at this companies services to stay away if you do not want to have to watch over their shoulders as they work and worry about it being completed correctly.

Wow! I don't think I have EVER been this happy with a company in my life. This is what INTEGRITY looks like! Here's why...
We had our foundation lifted a few years ago and afterwards the foundation company sent a plumber to do tests on the water and drain lines. He said we had a *very* slow leak in the drainage system but it was nothing to worry about. We took his advice and didn't worry.
However, about a month ago our termite inspector drew my attention to a wet spot on the outside of our concrete slab directly below our shower. He said he thought we had a leak there and suggested we have it fixed (because termites love damp soil). So we began calling some plumbing companies, telling them the story about the previous plumber's tests and asking for someone to come out and give us a quote.
Only a couple companies would come out to give a quote without charging us a trip fee, so we made some appointments. I won't go into why I was unhappy with the first two plumbing companies, but let's just say I was becoming very leery of plumbing companies in general by that point.
Enter Accurate Leak and Line. WOW! From the moment I called their office, there was a marked difference. Jacqueline was pleasant and very professional. Even though we had to keep rescheduling the testing because spring storms kept flooding our yard, Jacqueline remained cheerful and reassuring, never indicating the least amount of exasperation when we had to reschedule AGAIN. I could hear her smile right through the phone lines.
Well, the soil finally dried out enough and the day of our static test arrived. Clayton arrived exactly on time and greeted me with a professional but warm handshake. He followed me to the back yard and as he looked at the damp spot on the slab, he listened carefully as I described what had gone on with the house up to this point. In the master bath he carefully looked at the shower fixtures and then quietly but confidently said, "There's your leak. You have gaps around the fixtures and I believe the water is splashing into those gaps and running back there to the outside of your slab." He then gave me a very thorough explanation of why he believed the problem was above slab, not below. The best part is that he did not talk down to me, treating me as if I could not comprehend the physics and materials. Thank you, Clayton! That alone restored my faith in plumbers.
He did not charge me for the trip, and he did not even slightly push me into running (very expensive) tests for leaks because he was quite sure of his diagnosis. Clayton saved us THOUSANDS of dollars that other companies would have happily steered us into spending. He put my mind at ease and relieved an enormous worry I had been carrying.
Not only that, but he also handed me a short piece of pipe so we can raise up our sewer cleanout to ground level - and gave very clear instructions on what type of connectors to buy and how to do the work. Amazing!! He didn't have to do that. What a kind thing to do!
If we ever do require any leak repairs, Accurate Leak and Line will be the ONLY company we call. The respect they show their customers is amazing. Integrity and honesty - those words really and truly do describe Accurate Leak and Line.

I had to get original cast iron plumbing (1950s) removed and replaced under a slab foundation. This involved excavating, removing cast iron, installing PVC, and refilling. Accurate Leak & Line provided the most competitive quote and completed the job ahead of schedule. They were very efficient and communicated status throughout the job. They always left me with a high level of confidence. I highly recommend them.

We recently had an unfortunate plumbing event in our house. Friends recommended Accurate Leak & Line and we are so glad that they did. Four gentlemen were at our home today, Pat, Sam, Curtis and Mike. They were all very professional, courteous and personable. They took the time to show us everything that they were doing before they did it and made sure we understood all of our options. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work done. Special shout out to Pat who made certain everything looked great and was all cleaned up before he left!

This past week (week of 12/17/18) we had the good luck to hire Accurate Leak and Line to replace/reroute our sewer line to the city's main through bricks, dirt and part of our side yard that is asphalted. They met and exceeded our expectations every step of the way. They were courteous, punctual, communicative and just nice friendly folks. From the digging to the completion we were nothing but happy with what they did. Josh, Curtis, Jacklyn (their go to gal at the office) were excellent as were the plumbers and excavators!! We got several bids for this work and their bid was very reasonable and considerably lower than the others. We would recommend them in a heartbeat without any reservation. Great job all! (No idea why this is showing up as Sammie - but this is Dan and Maria in South Austin.

Clayton Vitellaro is the best in business! I've worked with many plumbers over 26 years as a Realtor and I will tell you that Clayton's demeanor is very reassuring to my customers. His bids are very fair and I have found him to be honest and trustworthy. Having broken plumbing lines is never fun and always an unexpected expense so having someone you can trust to do the work takes the worry and stress out of the equation.

Best plumbing company I've ever worked with. Curtis and the rest of the team were great to work with, very professional, thorough and completed the job quickly. The cost of the work was fair and affordable.
