From my first point of contact Acadian was professional, courteous and very timely in communicating. At first diagnosis was the electrical phases of the water heater but ended up being an under slab hot water line leak. Eric suggested to reroute the line through the attic and eventually rerouted two lines. Eric and Andrew are "" experts "" in what they do ! They wasted no time and finished the job much faster than I expected. Totally cleaned up everything. They deserve more than 5 Stars. So glad I took a chance and called Acadian-- you should too-- you will be glad you did. Also the cost was very reasonable being considerable less than other estimates.

Eric and his team are fabulous from calling the office for a service request (Tina is awesome) to having the guys in our home taking care of a list of tasks. My name is Jimmie,
I requested a certified plumber to help get my father's gas meter back from the city. Within an hour I spoke with Eric from Canadian Plumbing and the 2 days later Eric was at my father's house pressure testing the gas system.
He fixed the issue the same day and submitted the request to have the city to come out and verify his work. The work was verified a few days later. I can respect Acadian Plumbing for their promptness, professionalism, respect and good work. And yes, I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Our kitchen sink drain was clogged and we tried everything we could, including snaking it ourselves. The blockage was too hard to break through. Called Acadian and explained issue to the dispatcher. I asked if they would bring out what was necessary to unclog it. I was assured they would.
Tech arrives on time with only a snake in his hand. I asked if that is all he has to unclog it. He replied that, yes, that is all they have. I told him I didn't think it would work since I had already tried it. He said ""If you don't want me to try, I won't, but it will be $125 for service call and I'll leave now"".
My options now are to pay $125 for nothing, or $325 for what I don't think will work anyway. I went ahead with the $325 and said ""Maybe you know how to snake a drain better than I do"". Well, he did not. He was just as unsuccessful as I was. He then went on to say that Acadian cannot fix the clog and I need to call another plumber. He then wrote the name of the guy who he thinks can fix it and his number on my ticket. I paid him the $325 as I agreed and he left. I did NOT call his recommended plumber but instead called Sturt Services who came out and fixed the issue within an hour with their snake, which is much better than the ones Acadian owns, obviously! I will never call this company out again, and why would you when they just charge you to give you a referral of someone else.

Description of work performed:
The kitchen sink backing up. Ran Auger from pulled PTrap. About 6-8 feet hit hard spot. Worked cable back and foward (sic). Could not get past.
Recommend video insp. Recommend xxxxxxx Plumbing 504-xxx-xxxx.

Yesterday was the first time I've needed a plumber since moving to New Orleans, so of course it was time to stress about finding someone dependable and reasonable. Fortunately, Acadian put my worries to rest.

I called the office number late in the afternoon. After 4 or 5 rings (on no, this isn't good) a man answered and explained that the office was closed, but he was the owner on his way home. He listened to my problem and said that the next day's schedule was pretty full, but he'd try to work me in. When I called the office this morning, the owner answered, remembered me, and said ""You're on the schedule for today.""

Only three hours later, two nice dog-loving guys arrived and fixed my toilet right away, explaining that the hard water here wreaks havoc with plumbing fittings. The price was more than my sweet, independent plumber in Kansas City, and I might have been able to fix it myself with YouTube. But I don't want to do stuff like that, and getting it fixed right away by courteous, professional people absolutely made it worth the price.
