Service technicians always what they should be. Setting appointments very sketchy with answering service not sinked to field delays
Having to wait entire day for appointment is asking too much.
No updated throughout day on tech arrival forces customers to wait 10 hours for service

This company left me with broken furnice and AC. I called to do a maintenance of my old but working AC. I was basically interested in washing AC unit outside the house. The technician Jeremy Johnson completely messed up with my funice when he got inside it. He turned it off as he said and turned it back on. Guess nothing works anylonger. He called his boss and he suggested to replace a transformer. He did it but it still didn't work. So, he took an easy way to blaim it on an electrical panel. Their electrician Carlos came and he was actually knowledgeable and no complains about him. He did his job but it isn't an electrical issue. It is whatever Jeremy messed up inside a firnice with a circuit. I had to take 6 hours off at my job and the next time I can do is Monday. So, 4 days without AC at heat. My dog stays there 24 hours. They don't care about their customers. Stay away from this company as far as you can.

Called to repair a loose faucet. The faucet itself was still working but coupling nut was broken. Service man came in said it would cst 1100.00 to replace because there was no shut off and would have to turn the water off. He would have to replace the whole faucet because they do not make the part any longer! Said only alternative was to buy my own faucet and price would be $500.00 . This was for my moms house who is 90 years old and on a fixed income! Shame on you! Gouging people like that.

Had new heat pump system put in November 2023. Cosr 16k. Called in March 2024 for rhe spring check up they said needed to be done. Earliest time
was September 2024 called and canceled wanted to reschedule. Never called back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Zero star.

The workers that came to do my plumbing were wonderful. They were courteous & explained what had to b done. HOWEVER , I've tried 3 or 4 times with office & on line to have copy of receipt sent to me. If was signed electronically & I was told copy would come to my email. Never received anything as of today.

I tried to get service from Academy Air this past week. I have a difficult situation: an AC unit on the top of my three-story townhouse. I initially made sure they had a 40-foot ladder to reach my roof, and was assured several times they did. After postponing service for several days, in the end they cancelled my appointment, claiming they didn't have such a ladder. I won't try them again.

Rated 1 star because 0 wasn't an option. Confirmed with employee who scheduled my services there was no camera/diagnostic charge for a quote. Day of appointment, received notice tech was in route. Called 30 minutes later to check on the arrival and was told they had a problem at the previous location and it would be an hour to 2 hours later. They finally arrived and called stating they would need to leave because they couldn't find the location to only have drove the next house up from the location. Then I was hit with its $488 for the camera to be used to access the break in the sewer line. The tech then hung up as I explained the booking rep said it would be free. Called the customer service and employee(s) confirmed by listening to the recording I was told no fee. Manager, Walter was to call me back. Called about an hour or two after to only confirm they charge a fee and he wouldn't honor his staff members quote of no charge. Shortly thereafter, I received an email with a guess of where the damage was because the camera was not used along with notes from the techs which stated I cursed them out (which I did not) and that is why they disconnected the call and left the premises without performing any work.

Save yourself a headache and not waste a full day of vacation. Just call a professional company that has trained staff members and honors the information their staff members provides to the customer.

Sent two trucks out to connect a customer supplied shower valve with pex. Quoted me a flat rate of $1,000 which I declined.
Took me 20 minutes to do myself once I got parts. Please stop with the flat rate SALES and provide hourly SERVICE.

Needed a repair on an outdoor greenhouse water supply that is part of my irrigation system. Joel Reynolds from Academy Air came over the same day, analyzed the problem and did a very excellent job fixing it. I had two other plumbers try to fix the problem previously without success. I recommend Academy Air for plumbing work. My only reservation is the price but all the HVAC and plumbers have raised their rates during the past few years.

My service @ Academy Air was fantastic from start to finish with Ronell and my same day service.

I am very pleased with the price, attention to detail, the expertise and professionlism that I received.... Ronell was a step above the rest as far as I am concerned. He asked what was going on and he went to work and the rest is history.

I have dealt with other HVAC companies like Budget Heating and Cooling and they are the ones that want your money and the service is something that you would have to pray for and still pay more than a real professional, because you would have to get a company like Academy Air to come out and do what was not done by them.

I have tried the rest and now I feel I am with the BEST!!! Thank you Ronell and Academy Air!!!
