These guys caught me at a vulnerable time (almost always the case with plumbing, right)? They showed up quickly and gave me an estimate of $389 which they said was their minimum job charge. It would have cost me $79 to send them away, so I let them do the job. It took less than an hour and involved no parts. I feel like I have been mugged.

The tech was fine he was nice enough.

But ABT the company however is a total rip off. Run and don't look back.

I needed to have a bunch of work done. But first and foremost I needed the propane adapters installed in my new dryer. When I called they said no problem. I asked for them to get the part. I gave them the part number. They said no problem.

The tech showed up and looked at me like I was crazy when I talked about the dryer. He had no parts and did not even know he was there to perform that task.

I also needed a few other things done while they were there.
I wanted
A). 3 bathroom sinks faucets replaced,
B). 1 kitchen sink faucet replaced and
C). 1 bathtub faucet replaced.

I have all the faucets. They wanted over $2,500 to do about about 2.5 hours worth of work. And that does not even include the dryer work. If you do the math this is $1,000 a hour. That is insane!!!!! That time estimate was an approximation from what the tech told me awhile he was here.

I sent the tech away.

I own rental properties in Southern California and deal with plumbers all the time.

I can not recommend ABT for anything.

The service is terrible, poor follow up and lack of integrity. They told us that they guarantee their work, but it's all a lie. I would not recommend ABT to anyone.

The ABT HVAC team just saved the day! We are forever grateful. Their lead technician Kenny came out to our cabin, (on the same day) , to respond to our request to get power on (in middle of winter). Generator was not working. Our Tahoe cabin was in danger of being totally frozen! He found the problem... was awesome to work with.... great detective -- got it up and running !... Our whole family is very grateful to Kenny for his dedication and smarts! Would use this team again in a heartbeat! Best, Jeff H

Be very careful with this company, please. Their estimates are vague and prices exorbitant. For example, a diagnostic on a tankless water heater was $100 more expensive than another local plumber, but they were ever so ready to put in a new device in excess of $6,000. And they quoted going back to the regular water heater we had initially at over$7,500. So just be aware, please. You will also discover from past yelp reviews that ABT has experienced some hand slapping from regulatory agency types. This is truly a case of buyer beware.

It's quite confusing, because abt's maintenance technician that came out recently was the nicest most knowledgeable guy ever. But when I scheduled a second appointment for the same inspection on a different furnace they didn't show up and didn't communicate. Completely unacceptable treatment especially when it's freezing outside and we haven't had a functioning furnace for the last month, wasted my entire workday while I waited for them, and now it's gonna take a couple weeks to get someone else out here. Zero accountability. Horrible customer service.

I located a leak on my property and needed help quick. I called ABT. The receptionist was kind and quick to help me. Within two hours she had Jared
On his way. Upon his arrival he and I spoke and he and I located the
Problem and he explained what needed to be done and he started and continued telling me what he was doing and what steps would take place along the way. The job was completed and I would recommend this company to others.

Our first experienced with ABT was a leak at the main water shut off valve outside the house. First technician came out and tried to sell me a bunch of unnecessary plumbing at a ridiculous price. All I needed was a brass shut off valve replaced. Instead, he installed PVC, plastic and plastic shut off valve which were all exposed to the sunlight instead of reinstalling copper as before. (Gee, what do you think the sun is going to do to the plastic over time) He used way too much PVC cement and it plugged up all of the faucets and the shower faucet. I called the next day and another technician named Paul came out and removed all the plastic that was previously installed and repaired it correctly. He had to replace the main bath shower valve due to full of blue PVC glue. Thought I'd give ABT another chance. Needed a simple 50- amp oven breaker replaced in my main panel. No diagnosing needed. Simple cut & dry. They sent the same yo-yo out that made a mess out of my plumbing to do the installation. (I guess now he's an electrician) Started off again with a sales pitch with the platinum repair costing $699. No explanation for that cost. Told him ""no way in hell."" Next quote was $388 with no guarantee. Again, I said ""no way in hell."" I knew for them to show up was $75 service charge. I had no problem with that. Told him this was a 10 -minute job and I'm not paying $388 for a 10- minute job and that I'd do it myself. Told him I thought a $150 was a fair price and he could take it or leave it. (He took it) This place ABT is such a scam and rip off and have some unqualified people employed with them. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I highly recommend ABT. I had them install a toilet that required bringing the old one down two flights of stairs, and the new one up the same stairs. Great job and very professional and friendly.

I also had a broken pipe in my new place repaired.
I will always use them for my plumbing and other needs. After inspecting my heating and cooling system. After explaining the current issues and showing me pictures of my condenser, I will have them install a new air conditioner.
ABT backs their work and are honest.
Robert is the best! I will always recommend him and ask for him to do a job.
