We have had nothing but good experiences with ABT plumbing. Paul, one of their technicians, had such a wonderful work ethic and is incredibly friendly to deal with. When hiring someone in a field you know nothing about it it is easy to feel like you could very well be ripped off. However, this was not the case with ABT plumbing. Paul was fast, clean, efficient and the price seemed more than fair.

We live in Lake Wildwood and our landlord only purchased this house 4 months before leasing it out. I pity her because I know they're up against a LOT of repairs to make the home up to code (She lucked out and we are military, so we don't whine much), but she has called 1 plumber from another company and it was a horrible experience.. then she called ABT and they were here the same day. Scott came with a smile on his face, he was understanding of my 1 year old's ""redecorating"" of the house. He was not condescending AT ALL (I am a female, raised by a master electrician and engineer, so I like to know what is being done and Scott had no problem with my ""So.. what are you doing there..?"" queries.) It was 3 pm and the guy did not smell or even break a sweat. He was confident and thorough. He did everything he could to ensure there would be no more arcing or sparks.
We have some plumbing and electrical work needed today so I told my landlord, ""Call ABT!""
Hands down, ABT's customer service (via phone) has been the best customer service I have received in this area for ANY repairs or ANYTHING. These folks are nicer and happier than they have to be-- most likely because they don't have to deal with unhappy customers.

Thanks ABT! I called at 8 am on a friday due to a leaky outdoor faucet. Paul was at the house by 930. Great service, great people. Job got done right...period!

Service is good, response times are good, BUT...

Took the service tech FOUR trips to my house to get the seal on the base of my toilet 1) replaced and 2) to stop leaking after replacement. First call charge was almost $300. Follow up calls to resolve the leaks were not charged nor would I have paid for them given the quality of the work executed the first time.

I am employed an hour from where I live, so needless to say this pattern of not getting it done right the first time was quite obtrusive to my schedule both at home and at work.

Subsequent plumbing jobs on my house have been completed by other providers.

This has been bothering me since it happened. When I called about my smoke alarm malfunctioning I specifically asked if they had a service call fee and the girl said no, it was charged by the job. So, the guy comes over (he had body odor I believe from a dirty shirt) and he literally replaced the battery and put it back together and put it back in the wall, I think it took 10 minutes. He then said well, I charge a 125.00 service call fee. So I was stuck. I feel like I got totally taken advantage of. I mean, to replace a battery and put back a smoke alarm 125.00!!!! I would never, ever use them again or recommend them. Some companies are about greed not service.

Labor Day weekend we had a group of 17 people due at our house in 5 hours when our plumbing emergency happened. We called a few other places and left messages but ABT was the only company to answer the phone and get someone out to us within an hour. It was a two man job and they finished around 6:00 on a Saturday. Both guys were friendly and professional and they fixed our issue just in time. Thank you ABT Plumbing!

I called this company after reading these reviews. It took 5 mins to fix a leaky shower ( replaced a valve) $338 I work in the medical field surgeons dont charge this much likely a $2 part and 5-10 min labor thats is absolutely unethical.

Customer service is top notch. Response time is top notch. Staff is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely helpful. Since, I needed a job done in a hurry, ABT was perfect for my unique situation.

However, their prices for work are not competitive. I had a breaker replaced by my regular AC guy the day before. Edwards Heating and Cooling charged nearly half the price for replacing a breaker that carried twice as many amps as the breaker ABT is replacing for me. If my back weren't up against a wall for time, I would have gone with another company.

This company was the worst call i ever had to make to a plumbing company. I had a water heater that was leaking water onto the floor of my garage and called to get it fixed. When the plumber arrived from ABT he proceeded to quote me a price from his flat rate book saying that it would be over $1600 dollars to replace my water heater. That $1600 was the starting point and would only cover a new water heater and not all the other lines that in his opnion would need to be fixed. If i wanted it all fixed i would be looking at a cost around $2500. I called another plumber for a different opinion. New plumber changed out a leaking supply line at the top of the water heater. Stopped the leak and told me the water heater was good for several more years. Glad I didn't get duped by ABT's ridiculous pricing and dishonest analysis.

We hired ABT to replace all the water lines inside our house. Paul and Justin were very professional and through. We could not have had a better experience. They were very reasonable.

We intend to use them for electrical and heating work on our duplex rental.
