Joey D.Unfortunately, I had an unfortunate experience with Absolute Plumbing a few months ago.
They did an installation of a new shower pan. Then I bought the house. The shower immediately leaked through the walls into the kitchen on the floor below. It was a lot of water. Not knowing why my shower was leaking I called my home warranty who came onsite and said the plumbing below the shower pan was absolutely terrible. The pipes were caulked because they did not meet together properly. The caulking was leaking profusely. The home warranty would not cover the repairs of an inherently faulty system.
Then I called a plumber to fix it so that we could shower.
After finding out from the seller who did the poor plumbing job, he pointed me to Absolute Plumbing. He said they had guaranteed the work. I called and spoke to Paige who said she would escalate to her manager and get back to me. This happened 3 times. I never heard back.
I'm not sure how to make things right or what I should have done differently - but I do know that Absolute plumbing's horrible plumbing job cost me $1,800 on the very first day I moved into my new home. They also failed to get back to me 3 times when I called.
Zane A.Darwin arrived on time, explained the parts and changes, and fixed the outdoor sprinkler valve really fast. Cost was very reasonable, highly recommend this firm; they did work at my neighbor last Spring and that's where I got the recommendation.
I used them a month ago to clean the main sewer to the street at my house. They showed every promise of being a great company. Came out as agreed and snaked the drain for the amount quoted. Two weeks later they are back again for the same drain that was clogged again. Two weeks later the same clog and they won't even answer their phone it goes straight to voice mail. All I ask is please charge me a fair price to fix the problem. If it isn't fixed come back and get it right.
Nicole F.Showed up on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently.
Jenn C.Larry is an AMAZING job! I was able to have someone come look at my issue within 24hours and was VERY reasonably priced. $204 for unclogging my main pipe. He helped me understand why my drains were blocked and was able to unblock both drains that were having issues. He even suggested how to keep them cleared in the future :) He was very friendly and took the time to talk to me and keep me updated with what was going on. I would 100% recommend Absolute Plumbing!
Julie E.Had an late night plumbing issue at my home that we were able to contain. However we all share one bathroom so repairs were slightly urgent. Contacted Absolute that morning via YELP search and reviews. They were at my home by 10 am and got the repairs handled easily and efficiently. Simply put... excellent service and repair.
Nick W.Easy to contact. Job scheduled quickly. Did the job properly. Kept us updated on progress. Simply excellent service.
J D.Awesome service! FAST! My service tech Larry was very helpful and polite, cleared the blockage and then tested the line
Alexandra A.My husband's father is a plumber but for times when he's not available or out of town I like to have some back-up plumbing solutions. Last week our guest bathroom decided it didn't want to flush anymore, and while this wasn't an ultimate emergency it was impacting someone directly so we decided to give these guys a call based on the yelp reviews.
Service: Phone calls are answered promptly and a pleasant lady is happy to help. I asked for a 'ballpark amount' of costs which she didn't seem super comfortable with, but gave me an amount anyway ($154-$194) to fix our toilet. Scheduled me an appointment for the next day with Scott (I believed) and sent me on my way.
The next day Scott arrived within his time window, according to my husband, he was courteous but not overly friendly (which was fine). He took care to take his shoes off when he came into the house and was careful about cleaning up after himself.
Once prices were discussed, the ballpark amount was thrown out the window. He said to remove the toilet and use the commercial snake it would cost upwards of $400... this was 'just in case' the toilet broke and we had to purchase a new one. My husband was less than happy to agree to that rate (his plumber daddy nearly lost it- this is a pretty high amount!).
Scott let him know that he's not a salesman and called the office to come up with a better plan. They ended up offering us the hourly rate of $205 and asked us to assume the risk of the toilet breaking when he took it off. We agreed to that and one hour and some change later the toilet was back to normal. Big surprise, the toilet DID NOT break.
Total bill was $255 for service.
I have to wonder though, how often do they charge this $400+ rate just to ensure the toilet not breaking? People will pay it and more often than not the toilet will be fine at the end.
I have to advise folks to ask about the hourly rate before agreeing to any lump sum costs here... debating if I will continue to use these guys... glad my toilet is fixed, so thanks for that Scott.
I had never used Absolute Plumbing but a friend highly recommended them. Yesterday, I called about hearing water drip and splash in the downstairs wall when i used the upstairs shower and sink in our bathroom. Today, Darwin came and not only diagnosed the problem but fixed it. WOOHOO Darwin even arranged for us to have a senior discount. Many thanks Darwin...
