No, no, no! All these reviews are valid and I experienced same as them.
Was referred my warranty company for my leaking water heater. As I thought, the water heater needed to be replaced but they also stated MANY MANY other things needed to be replaced. Everything under the sun supposedly needed to be replaced including water heater straps that looked basically brand new! I decided to go without home warranty as I was told this ""project"" was going to be almost $1700 and I would have to cover $500 of it. Wasn't going to happen.
I used a reputable plumber that only charged me $1,000 for the whole thing and they told me Ability Access just threw on the extra ""modifications"" for extra money and they were scamming me.
Listen to these reviews and stay away.

Do not use this company! The technician showed up and would not fix my leaking pipe , he said there was too much water under my home and that it needed to be pumped out before he could fix it. He said he could recommend a restoration company to come out and pump it out, I declined. I called a company to come and pump the water out and the guy that showed up asked me why the plumber didn't fix it, I told him the guy said there was too much water, he said there's hardly any water under there and I could scoop it up with a cup and a bucket, I crawled under my house and it took me 15 minutes to get the very small amount of water up. I don't think the guy wanted to work that day or maybe he didn't want to get dirty. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!! I give them 0 stars!!! This app makes me give a star rating to post my comment, so I have to give them 1

So far not so good. As other customers, I was referred by American Home Shield. Plumber comes out and tells me it's not a plumbing problem it's my septic. We have septic guy come out on our own dime because warranty doesn't cover septic. Septic guy says septic is totally fine and working properly. Says plumber should have popped the septic lid if he was concerned about it. Plumber never did it. It's now April and technician never called in his diagnosis and therefore warranty company can't get another plumber out here until plumber calls in his BS diagnosis. I just want my showers to drain!!

1. Home warranty company sent them out. The home warranty gave me one price, the technician gave me another price of $90 more to fix it 'better'. Turns out that I was overcharged $90 by Ability Access Plumbing and Rooter and the home warranty company had to issue me a refund.
2.The technicians had turned off the water into the house when they were working on multiple sinks. After a couple of weeks, I found out that there was no longer running in my upstairs bathrooms, something that had been working before the plumbers came over. They refused to take responsibility for shutting it off and wanted to charge me to come out for them to turn it back on.
Dishonest, twice, in one appointment.

We were referred by our home warranty company, who should do a better job at vetting businesses. The guys came out, did part of the work, said they would be back in 3 days to finish after it dried. They didn't show up when they were supposed to, we called, they had scheduling issues and of course did not call to let us know. So scheduled another day, they did not show again and when I called this time they stated that the scheduler had put us on the wrong day and would need to be rescheduled again. They finally showed up the 3rd time, work was completed, it was a simple project and was done satisfactorily. They really need to hire a more competent person to answer their phones and do their scheduling.

I wish that I had looked at Yelp before allowing my home warranty company (not happy with Old Republic either) dispatch Ability Access Plumbing to my home. They said there was one hot water leak even though we told them there were multiple hot spots in the house. After they supposedly fixed the leak by tearing up our tile and concrete, we noticed the very next day that our water meter was still spinning. When we notified them, they came out again and said that there was another leak and it was brand new. They would have to charge us to fix another slab leak. We had the option of rerouting pipes for 8,000+. That would be on top of the $1,120 they already charged not to mention the cost of new tiles (not covered). I feel like I've been scammed or the victim of incompetence.

Awful company. They were the company my home warranty insurance, American Home Shield, selected to diagnose and repair our water heater that had burst. They came a few days after contact and they determined it had to be replaced. Then they told us our out if pocket cost would be $605. They tried to pressure us to authorize it. After speaking with our warranty company they concerred with the cost. Calling Ability access they then said the cost was $655. They showed up for the service and the cost was $680. And they wanted it upfront before work was to be started. DH got suspicious and called our warranty company. They determined that or out of pocket cost was actually $355. Ability access then argued with the agent at American Home Shield demanding the whole $655 then changed to $680. After he had his epic argument the agent at American Home Shield they were submitting this company to the department to terminate referrals. They also advised us to never use them again. Awful thug like bullies. And we still have no hot water.

We are VERY dissatisfied customer. As, a home owner you pay for quality companies & employee's to come out and a do a service through your home warranty. Instead, we received a technician who could NOT do his job, misdiagnosed, did NOT order our part and hung up on G&E since our hot water heater fell under their warranty. We went another week without HOT WATER for our minor children. NOT once did this company call back follow through to see if their technician did a good job or fixed the problem. $100.00 was paid to our home warranty company where this plumbing company ripping people off and NOT fixing the problem at all. What to come back out and be charged another fee for the part that was NOT even broken. 2 weeks without HOT WATER all together. I would NOT refer this company to NOBODY!!

What a terrible business; you'd think with all the options for plumbing, they would at least attempt to have good customer service, but instead I had a rude technician that I ended up having to ask to leave because of how rude he was. My homeowners warranty wouldnt cover part of the problem, so I offered to just pay the cost out of pocket, but instead was told they were running behind and I would just have to reschedule. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

This was my second experience with this company. In both cases got exceptional service! On time, polite, fixed the problem, even noted a secondary problem and fixed that as well, and without additional cost.
I can recommend AAP without reservation. Use them, you will not be sorry!
