eehh... he's ok, def far from 5 stars in my book.
First the good, he is readily available, I'll give him that much, and he seems resourceful. The bad, he's kinda hard to talk to. You ask him questions trying to understand the situation and he responds as if you don't know what you're talking about. It was supposed to be a simple clog clearing, but ended up a lot more complicated.
He said he was 90% sure of the prob but he had to cut the steel pipe, but he'd need to charge me $450 more. 90% sure? ok! let's do it.
Unfortunately that 90% turned out to be 0% as it did not solve the problem.
He seemed like he was in a mad rush. Bottom line I'm down almost $1k and still had a clog and I had to clean up the mess afterwards. Others might have had a good experience but sadly I did not.

Update:
Just had another plumber recommended by neighbors come out and snake the clog out in 50 mins. It's a good thing I chose to get a 2nd opinion instead of listening to Abe's suggestion of needing excavation or tapping into a smaller line which he quoted me and said the price would go ""way up"" if I don't decide right there and then which I thought was pretty sketchy.

Another Need for Abe

In 2018, I had to call Abe's Plumbing for one problem and this week I had to once again call the man without a cape but most definitely a superhero. My initial call was for a simple plugged toilet. That turned into being a 5-hour epic that ended with needed to flush of our main line piping. I will spare the details but use your imagination of a 'bad' situation and you're halfway there.

Abe is a professional in all respects; he really does care for what actions he takes in your home and in making sure your problem is solved. We had to call him back today as the toilet once again clogged but he came, fixed it (was not the 'S' show of the other day) and left. His prices are right in line with average if not a little better; naturally, be sure to adjust your cost expectations if your problem is bigger than what you originally cited.

As I said in 2018 and directly to Abe the other day ""I really wish I never had to see you but thank you for being here when I did"". If you need a plumber, you can price out others, but you're not going to get Abe.

Abe's Plumbing is really awesome. I had a toilet leak issue and called Abe's for a quote. I was greeted politely and I described my problem. I sent a few pictures of my toilet setup and was called back immediately with a time frame and estimate. The work was done same day and it turned out to be a larger problem due to the age of my toilet/plumbing in my house. He walked us through the problems and solutions and took care of everything. I appreciated his honesty of the situation and the quality fix. My toilet works like a charm now. Thank you so much!

I had low water flow in my upstairs bathroom. Abe did not come out for my issue. Instead, he walked me through the simple fix of removing the faucet aerator, removing the O-Ring and replacing it. No cost, no appointment.
Abe did not need to do that. He could have come out, charged me and gone along his merry way. His decency and focus on customer satisfaction will make him our plumber from now on. Thanks Abe.

We just called Abe out on a Sunday and he was unbelievably gracious. We had a leak coming through one of our lights and panicked. He answered the call, came out right away, and could not have been more helpful. He figured out what the issue was and walked us through it. Finding a plumber who is both affordable and an expert in his field is such a relief that we want to recommend him to everyone we know. Abe is 100% the way to go for all of your plumbing needs.

We went to Abe thanks to all of the rave reviews and we're so happy we did! He was responsive, was ready to come out that day, and fixed everything when he arrived. A different plumber had told us we'd need a number of expensive fixes, including cutting into our wall and replacing a pipe. Abe explained the code and that that was unnecessary. He assured us he'd never tell us something needed fixing if it didn't and it's such a relief to have an expert we can trust.

I don't really do Yelp reviews, but I find plumbing issues extra stressful so I wanted to put other people's minds at ease. If you need a plumber, CALL ABE!

Called Abe on short notice and he was actually able to come out the same day but was also able to schedule for the next day for convenience. He was professional and listed options that we could pursue but was never pushy at all. Overall would recommend for your plumbing needs and we will have him back for further maintenance!

Abe was prompt, knowledgable, and fair. He arrived in the time indicated. Took the time to identify the source of the problem. However, after a thorough examination, the source could not be identified. Given his time to examine the problem, I was surprised to not incur a charge for his time.

Once the source is determined,, we will be calling Abe to make the fix!
