Home Warranty assigned this horrible company to handle my claim. First, they never called me to set up an appointment and I could not reach anyone at the number provided. I had to contact my warranty company and complain and surprise I received a call within the hour. Finally got a guy out and explained the issue. He said he would need to use a camera to see what was causing the stoppage in the pipe. He had to get approval from warranty which seemed odd but what do I know. He said it would take a few hours and he would be back. Never came back so I called the office and the lady had no idea what I was talking about. An hour later I receive a call from warranty that my claim was denied because the contractor reported roots in the pipes which is not covered. ROOTS!!! This guy spent less than five minutes in my livingroom. He did stick his head in the bathroom but didn't turn on the light. I filed a complaint with consumer affairs for fraud. Cancelling my warranty policy because First American cares more about its contractors than the consumer. If I were you I would just wade in sewage before allowing this company in my home.

Our kitchen sink was leaking and we were referred to Abe's plumbing through our home warranty company. I tried calling and leaving several messages and didn't hear back so I kept calling and finally got a hold of someone after the 10th time. I scheduled an appointment 4 days later because they were booked. The day of the scheduled appointment the plumber DID NOT show up. They didn't even let me know that they had to cancel my appointment. I had to call them again to reschedule for the next day.

We were on the phone with home warranty and Abe's plumbing to add another item to the ticket while the plumber was fixing the sink. In the midst of it, the plumber said he's done with the sink. I told him that we're having another item added to the ticket and he said no and just left. So now we had to book another ticket item and pay another $75 to get another plumber out to see the other sink. We are DEFINITELY using a different plumbing company.

This company is EXTREMELY unprofessional.

If I could give this plumbing company a -0 stars I would. They are liars and they're very rude steer clear of Abe's plumbing from Lake Elsinore. This company was referred by my home warranty and the representative who came out to look at my water heater took one look at it and said oh it's old it doesn't work, duh, he did not test the water heater nor did he see if it was working. He said this manufacturer isn't even in business anymore. He went to his car and said he was going to call the warranty company but came back and said oh I'll write a report. Two hour later the representative Myra calls, hangs up on me then yells and says no you hung up, to tell me that they can complete the work for $1200. Wow, then says the technician said your missing parts. So from the time he leaves until he gets to the office he came up with this. Be very careful not to use this company because they are unprofessional, rude and dishonest. To think the young boy tells me he's experienced because he's been doing this job a long time, well sweetie I'm mature enough to see a crook when he's kneeling in front of my water heater and can't even test the pilot because his dented raggedy white truck has no fire stick.

We had a clog that caused our utility sink to back up when running the washing machine or dishwasher. We had someone come out three days later. Robert was awesome! He quickly unclogged the line and was very personable. He even gave us some advice on another issue that a different company was going to charge us thousands for. I was worried when I read the reviews but Robert was awesome and my clothes and dishes are clean again

THE WORST BUSINESS EVER! Our home warranty sent out Abe's plumbing to fix the temperature valve on our shower (we had difficulty moving the plastic part from hot to cold). It seemed like an easy fix for an actual plumber....but not an Abe's plumber. At first, he had no clue how to fix it and wanted to spray WD-40 to solve the issue. Then he said that he needed to order a ""special part"". Fast forward a week later and the same plumber came back. He literally could not take apart the shower valve for 15 minutes. Once he did, he dropped one of the screws from the shower valve down the shower drain. We asked if that is needed and he said no. He ""completed"" his job but the valve now moved 360 degrees and when completely shut off, the water was dripping a lot. I told him that's not normal and he responded with ""No that's how all showers work"" and ran back to his van as fast as possible and left.

Their supervisor was immediately called and our concerns were met with the same response as the plumber and then the supervisor laughed at us when we were saying how this whole situation was wrong and how much time we wasted on this plumber just to destroy our shower.

Due to how much water was leaking, we had to call another plumber-an actual professional and our shower was fixed.

Abe's then reported to the insurance company that the shower was fixed and the case was closed. We had to waste more time clarifying the situation with the home insurance company.

If your home insurance company sends you Abe's Plumbing, request another plumber ASAP-you are allowed to but they do not advertise it. I should have done my research on this company and seen all the negative reviews and I completely agree with each one of them. They're a scam and I honestly have no idea how they are still in business with their complete lack of professionalism and nonexistence knowledge about basic plumbing.

I would give them -5 stars of possible! They are a scam. I have home warranty for my home and plumbing is included, but we pay $75 for them to come out each time. We had a broken pipe and leak under our house. They sent out a plumber and he said he can't fix it because there's too much water under the house so he can't fix it. However he can fix it for $625.....?!? It was supposed to be included under home warranty and he's trying to make extra side money by making us pay extra for it! There's Water under the house because the pipe broke which is his job to fix. Now there's even more water because he won't fix it!! Don't ever but home warranty because they won't fix anything! And don't use abes plumbing. They are not ethical!

I've been watting a week for service on Monday I waited 4 hours they were a no show
On Wednesday the plumber came but it was obvious he intended to do no work he was very rude and stated he only had half of the work order even after confirming that the work order was properly submitted to American Home Shield today is one week later and the stoppage garbage disposal and to simple faucet leaks have not been repaired good luck but this plumbing company

Worst possible plumbing company. I asked if they could come out at least 5 times and they refused to come out even though we've asked many many times. They never called me back after trying to reach them over and over. Horrible company. They said they had a new phone system and it's not their problem.

Like it seems everyone else on this Yelp page my home warranty plan assigned my request to Abe's Plumbing. I was pretty skeptical of them after looking at all these terrible reviews, but it worked out pretty well for us! We had just bought a house and been hearing some odd noises from our water heater. They were able to send a plumber out that very next day actually. He told us that we may only have a month left of good use out of the water heater and we'll probably need to install a new one. The heater itself was covered under warranty, but the parts and labor to hook it up to our existing plumbing were not. We said that's fine, relieved to at least get something out of the home warranty. He was able to order a new one, come back and install it the very same day! I'll reserve a star because we haven't actually used the water heater for long, but so far so good!
