This company was assigned by my insurance company, they made me wait 4 days for an appointment window of 11 am to 8 pm. and then called the morning of the appointment day to reschedule when I started to complain the receptionist canceled the appointment and ended the call. This company has no respect or concern for its customers.

Well I have nothing bad to say . Marlene and the technician who came out were so quick to help us. They were communicative on the status of the boiler, insurance and their turnaround time.

Thank you Abe's plumbing for making sure we had hot water available in 48 hrs!!

I had a sewage stoppage that caused a back up in my shower and the toilet was also leaking water below it. Old republic, my home warranty company, sent ABES to service the stoppage. The plumber they sent caused another flood that was so heavy I couldn't contain it within the confines of the bathroom. It caused damage to my flooring. Not only did they not repair the stoppage but they refused to accept responsibility for the water damage they left me with. The supervisor I spoke with was extremely rude and unprofessional. This place seems like a scam of a business based on all the other reviews I've read. Strongly advise against using this company.

The phone receptionist named Madeline is awful. She will lie and give you the run around. Abe' s Plumbing was sent to unclog my sink by Select Home Warranty. They asked $250 for remove and reinstall my pee trap which I can do myself in 5 minutes. They took my $100 copayment with out doing the job. I got Select Home Warranty to send me another plumber. Really horrible experience with this plumbing company.

This business doesn't even deserve one star. How they've stayed in business for 13 years and can still survive is baffling yet home warranty companies continue to add them to their approved contractor list. The contractor showed up 2.5 hours late outside of the service window saying his work truck broke down. Once he arrived to diagnose my leaking toilet, he stayed 5 minutes and said he just needed a simple part and that he would get it ordered and come back to fix it in a day or two, mind you he never even lifted the toilet to diagnose the issue. There's zero communication between the technician and office staff, in fact the office called me the next morning just to see if the technician even made it out to my house. The office staff had no clue about what work needs to be done or what parts need to be ordered, you would think they work for two completely different companies. So each time you call them to find out what's going on they give you the run around saying someone will get back to you with an update. After a week of badgering them, I get the technician to come back out, he lifts the toilet and says ""oh I need another part"" which he would've known if he had bothered to correctly diagnose the issue in the first place. What an absolute joke this company is.

These people are immensely rude!! They laughed at me when I called to tell them how I wasn't satisfied with their service (or lack there of). I was referred to them via American Home Shield (AHS). Please avoid this company at all costs!!! The lady was so mean!! We are in a drought and the water leak was ignored. So - you've been warned.

Go through Abe's plumbing through First American Home Protection. Really disappointed, scheduled three times and cancel the last minutes due to a lot of problem from Technician (did not show up, broken truck...). Have to cancel and request with different service

My first ever one-star review. Do not use this company or allow your Home Warranty to use this company. I didn't even know they had such poor ratings to begin with since First American Warranty sent them out, I didn't research them beforehand. Simply said, they're crooks.

We just moved into our home late December '21 and within 6 weeks the shower stem blew out of the wall while I was showering. The shower stem was calcified, corroded, and there was an obvious tear/break in the threading. The home was built in 1966, naturally I went through Home Warranty since this is CLEARLY a wear-and-tear issue.

It took Abe's a week and a half to send someone out. On arrival the plumber nonchalantly spent a whole 2 minutes in the bathroom, scribbled a vague summary ""shower arm broke,"" didn't answer any questions clearly, then left. Days later, after no follow up, I call Abe's and my Home Warranty. Turns out Abe's reported that I physically ripped the shower stem off the wall in order for this to happen! Well isn't that convenient!!

When I called Abe's again, the admin girl's tone was sassy and rude, as if I was the one who inconvenienced THEM! I admit, I was also rude, but who wouldn't be. The lie that their plumber told will cost me $1K out of pocket.

I know this is a wear-and-tear issue because it also turns out this pipe was leaking before it finally gave way and mold ended up growing in the walls. Our bathroom is being remediated/reconstructed due to this issue. Thanks to Abe's I have to get quotes from REAL plumbers and go through a refute process with First American.
