Well as you can see by my Yelp review a year ago (9-29-14 - below) I have been working with Abe's plumbing more than a year. They have done everything from replacing a tank less water heater, to clearing drains in a 4 story condo...
I needed a plumber last week as my shower handles would not turn the water completely off. I called the Home Warranty company and requested Abe's plumbing - as I have had too many dishonest plumbers in my house... They sent the order to Abe's, then I called and asked for Marcia -- She not only remembered me - she even remembered my name!! A whole year has passed!!! This was a Thursday and asked if there is anyway Mark can come out on Monday -- She was quick to re-arrange work orders and get Mark out on Monday for me - to meet my tenants schedule.
Again -- I will only talk to--Marcia-- and I will only request --Mark-- to come out and do the work. He had a the job complete in minutes -- just missing a washer! By the way - I even got a call letting me know he was on his way -- one hour into the 4 hour window!
I have talked to others in the Company in the past and do not get the professional service and understanding of the job from anyone but Marcia!

Horrible customer service! Do not use this Plumber at all. Used them through AHS but they did not call within 24 hours. I called them too but did not call me back right away. I wish I could give them no stars but 1 is the lowest I can give.
Steve came and he wasn't able to fix the problem that I had. He said that he wasn't going to charge for this visit but they sent a bill to AHS anyways. When I called Abe's to complain, they laughed at me over the phone. No wonder they received so many bad reviews on here.
I called another Plumber through AHS and they were able to fix what they weren't able to do. I don't understand how they call themselves Plumber! If you get assigned Abe's through AHS, request another company.

Whenever I need work done at home I ALWAYS try to get Robert V to come out..
He always quickly diagnoses problem and even quicker fixes it once and for all...
Unlike other Tech's...
Take my advise,if possible ask for the best ( Robert V)....AA+++++

I was referred to Abe's plumbing by our home warranty company, First American. Robert called told me he was at the security gates at our community and needed to be granted access. Once I gave him access, he rudely hung up before I could finish talking to him. I immediately called him back and no answer. I called about 5 more times before he picked up.
Right off the bat he was extremely rude. He said, and I quote, "" There's a bunch of people here doing this and that, what's going on here!?"" I was caught off guard and felt extremely offended by the way he said it. I sarcastically said, ""Excuse me?!"" I calmly told him that yes, we just bought a new home and are in the process of remodeling, and there are other contractors there doing their own work. Everyone has their own work to do and it will not interfere with his plumbing work. I told him that I was driving and should be there shortly. I told him what I needed to be done and he could get started in the mean time. He said he went inside and saw what I needed fixing on the work order and mumbled that everything else is extra. I told him that's fine, I don't mind paying more since he's already there, I just want the work done. He kept asking whether it was gonna to be paid, check, credit or cash and I told him credit. He mumbled something else and I told him that his phone was breaking up and he ended up hanging up on me. I called him back over 20 times, I kid you not and not once did he pick up. He never even called me back.
I called my onsite manager and asked to speak to Robert and he said that Robert came in the house for less than 2 minutes and turned around, got in his car and left. The receptionist, Jody called me and asked for my credit card information. I told her that I'm not giving that info to her because the guy they sent out got in his car and left. She said she will get a hold of him and get back to me. I waited 15 minute and no call so I decided to call her back.
She then told me that Robert said that he was still there and was calling in the work order to First American so I said fine, I'm almost there and I'll see him when I get there..... Surprise, Surprise, Robert was not there when I got there. So... I called the office and told them he was not there. They had the nerve to tell me that he just left. I called the security gate office and they tracked what time he entered the community and what time he left and it was immediately after he got there. I can't believe they would lie to their customers like that. It's on record. Duhh.. Shame
The receptionist then told me that the work that was ordered was complete and no work was needed. So he left... Strange because what I called them for was still not fixed and the other 2 problems were never looked at. She then continued to tell that that it wasn't covered by my warranty. I kept telling her that I don't care if it isn't covered.. I'm willing to pay for it cash,,, out of pocket, so why did Robert just leave? I waited 2 days to have a plumber come out and that A hole had the nerve to just get in his car and leave without saying anything? I told her that I guess Robert doesn't want to work and doesn't want to make any money. Totally defeats the whole purpose of being in business. Robert should really just stay home and play with rocks then. She then tried to get him back out and told me to hold. I gave them another 2 min of my time and decided to hang up on them. I decided that I would be the world's biggest idiot to let that guy Robert back into my home. STAYYY AWAYY from this company. EXTREMELY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCONSIDERATE. What a big waste of time. A lesson I learned is to research a legitimate company and make a list of a few and then call your home warranty company and let them know your list and see of any of them are on their list.
Update: A month later I received a bill from from the home warranty company for the the copayment for Abe's Plumbing!!! I can't believe they had the audacity to bill me for nothing. They came out, did nothing, left and now want me to pay them!?.. Freaking idiots. I will be calling the home warranty company to contest the charges. STAY FAR FAR AWAY from Abe's plumbing!!
Don't let the positive reviews on their yelp fool you. Notice that the people they give 5 star ratings only have a few reviews total. And come on now, who really gives a plumbing company 5 stars unless he's fixed all the pipes, cleaned your house and cooked you dinner too. Let's be real.

Abe's Plumbing was a First American Home Warranty (First Am) referral to check a leak that was causing a dark spot on my downstairs neighbor's ceiling. In Jan 2014, there was a similar leak caused by a failing wax ring on my toilet that was repaired by a plumber referred by First Am. I informed the Abe's Plumbing plumber, Miguel, about this but rather than check the toilet to rule it out as the cause of the problem, he looks at the floor of my stone shower and claims that it is the cause due to cracked grout joints. He then reports to First Am that he performed a water test of the shower and confirmed that it was the cause. First Am calls me to tell me that my claim is being denied since the shower pan is not covered under my policy. When the First Am rep tells me that Miguel claims to have done a water test, I freak out since he did nothing other than take pictures with his cell phone. To make this short, Miguel flat out LIED about what he did. I called the plumbing company back to talk to Miguel and, of course, no one calls me back. Conclusion, don't use Abe's Plumbing if you can avoid it. To First Am's credit, I told them what happened and they sent out a second plumber at no charge and guess what he found -- the toilet's wax seal was the culprit and it was fixed, again.

Robert came out he was on time and even called before telling how long it would take him to get to my house. He did a great job on fixing my garbage disposal and shower. The friendliness and professionalism Robert gave is commendable. I will definitely be asking for Robert from Abe's plumbing if we have another problem!
I appreciate that Robert was helpful and fixed all the problems at my home, and Marlene was friendly over the phone taking my credit card payment.

Good plumbing service. My mainline was backed up, called them up referred by a family friend. David came out and ran the snake and cleared my mainline within minutes. Very knowledgable. Would definitely use then again.

Was referred to Abe's Plumbing from our home warranty insurance. 1st time Robert came out he was on time, neat and did a great job on my kitchen sink and bathroom tub. I loved the friendliness and professionalism Robert gave. 2nd time Robert came out, he had called to see if it was ok for him to come over early. YES!! Did he say EARLY?? Who wants to wait around all day, not me! Robert went straight to the problem once I explained what was going on. He came prepared with tools and replacement parts! Robert left his work area clean and tidy also! I will definitely be asking For Robert from Abe's plumbing if we have another problem!

Great service and respectful crew. Had to have some plumbing done out of my skill level. I try to do as much as I can by my self but not going to try this one. Setup an appointment with the ladies in the office for next day. Miguel was early and had it handled in a short time. Good thing cause it was an hourly job I'll see you guys on the next go around.
