I too would give a ""0"" if I could. It took us over a month to schedule an appointment. We called numerous times (daily) throughout the month to only receive voicemails or the receptionist hanging up. We finally had an appointment set, only to receive a cancellation during the time the technician was supposed to show up. We scheduled an additional appointment later that week for the technician to be over an hour late to tell me that they could not fix 1 item and would need appliances to fix the other. I'm not entirely sure why you would come unprepared for a job when you knew the issue at hand. Then as he was leaving, he offered to fix the other item if I paid him $50 cash... We set up ANOTHER appointment a week and a half later where the technician again showed up an hour late. We called to complain only to have the receptionist give us attitude and not apologize once. Unbelievable that this company is even in business. Home Warranty will be taking this company off of the preferred Plumbing List.
STAY AWAY!

Terrible TERRIBLE customer service. If I could give zero stars I would. My claim was issued through first American home warranty and Jessica called me late the same day. I called back to schedule service and someone answered only to tell me we're closed for the day ( then why pick up the phone???). Then she took my info telling me I could get a call the next day, never happened. I called almost every hour trying to get a hold of someone to schedule service but they never seem to answer. Two days later I finally get service scheduled for Friday, I took the day off to accommodate the 4 hour window that I needed to account for ONLY TO HAVE SERVICE CANCELLED THE DAY BEFORE!! . Tried to call back to reschedule, and of course, no answer. I'm now working with another company.

Absolutely terrible. Similar to many of the other reviews, they did some work as part of my home warranty and were able to temporarily address the problem. As you can imagine, the same problem resurfaced. When I inquired whether they stand by their work, Marlene scoffed at the idea and told me they only cover 30 days. If you get assigned to them, avoid at all costs!

The WORST plumbing company!!!! If you have First American Home warranty and assign them to you, ask for another company. We have multiple leaks in our sewer pipes and plumber named EDWARD couldn't even find the leak! He attempted to crawl for the first time to assess and was too wet underneath so he asked for a cleaning company to do the clean up before he inspects again. So 2 days later he came back after it was all cleaned up and dry and ""crawled"" underneath but still couldn't find the leak. He suggested for another company to come with a camera to further inspect it. I mean what kind of a plumber are you or even a plumbing company who doesn't own basic equipment like a camera?! How do you even call yourself a plumbing company?! This company is a joke! Even their customer service is the worst! Two weeks later our problem still hasn't resolved. Finally my husband who is twice Edwards size went into the crawl space and found the leak. Now we're just waiting for First American (another BAD company) To get approved for a work order.

This company is a scam. If your home warranty company (First American in my case) refers these guys, request a new company. I requested a repair for a leak in my shower- turns out that the issue was a broken shower dial- but because I didn't specify that in my request (how would I know?) they won't fix it and I have to start the process over again. Additionally, when the technician left he said he was ordering a new part to fix it, yet I never heard from him again and Abe's says the case has been closed. I'm assuming their poor customer service is due to the fact that I am a home warranty customer but I'll never use them again to find out.

Edward the plumber came to rescue! Our garbage disposal was broken and my wife has been complaining about it for weeks. Edward from Abe's plumbing came, checked out the problem, went to go purchase a new one and replaced it with a new one asap! Great communication from beginning to end. He could have ripped me off, but he was honest and was able to get the job done in a quickly matter. Appreciate your help!

Terrible customer service. Marlene was incredibly rude. As soon as I tried to call her out for a mistake she made (I was told someone would call me back Monday morning about a site visit on Friday. She cut me off saying ""today is only Tuesday and we didn't receive the paperwork until Monday."") inaccurate but okay.
She conveniently put me on hold as I tried to explain and was dismissive. Will never use again. Shame on First American Home Warranty for working with Abe's Plumbing. To top of off, service tech told me ""we'll cover the additional work at no cost to you."" Not true, Abe's is charging $375 for the work. Pass.

I do not recommend this company.
Home warranty assigned this plumber for a leaking faucet. They couldn't complete the service call for 5 days.
I provided a direct phone number to call me which they failed to use then once they arrived, stated it was their policy to collect payment before beginning work. Thinking this is a reputable company associated with my insurance, I paid. Only to have the technician leave to pick up a part then have his office call to say they were not coming back until next week. WHAT???? Their office manager called to deliver the message... she wasn't even open to discussing options to stop the leak and disconnected the call mid conversation.
I waited 5 days for service and now they plan to leave a leak over the weekend. I didn't work and sat at home all day waiting for them.
Do not hire them, but if you have to. Do not pay until the work is complete!!! That was my mistake.

I would give a 0 if I can. Avoid it at all cost!! DO NOT USE this company!!!
The owner came twice after reporting a claim to First American Home Warranty. First time could not find the leakage, left in 5 min. Second time finally found the leakage, on the outside rim of the toilet. Did not remove the toilet to confirm his theory the wax seal was the leakage source, wrote a report led First American to believe this is not a normal wear and tear, and told me the coverage was denied. When I called First American back, and I found out his report is the only thing that First American is basing their decision on. Can you tell me how he can determine this is not normal wear and tear without seeing the wax seal?
Biggest scam company, sucks they are the only one in the area for plumbing under First American. You are better off saving the $75 and go directly to another company out of pocket.
Completely unethical, waste of money, more importantly waste of time!

ABORT! Having three appointment delays, I finally called office. I have an infant and no water for a week on a missed inspection. ( understandably, not their fault) However, I was connected to Marlene, the rudest customer rep I've ever come across in any industry. Would not listen, would only talk over you with ghetto attitude. ( her general attitude displayed a "" if you don't like it than **** ***) I Had to call warranty company and switch to new plumbing vendor because of telephone manor. I would rather incur a delay than deal with such a company. My advice is to avoid Abe's Plumbing at all means. Request a vendor change stat. Life has enough drama, DO NOT ALLOW THEIRS! Your Welcome.
