I recently switched my semi annual HVAC maintenance to ABC Home and Commercial Services. Their technician, Charles, came to my home and performed that service. Very pleased with the job done by ABC.
if you have rat or spider problem, ABC might be a good service to use. But not rodent, even with their $1500 service, they are doing nothing, but just put a cheap metal mesh on the opening and call it done. The rodents actually use the metal mesh as base of their home, but ABC said they could not do anything about it. The 3 yrs contract means nothing to consumer who had paid the service. Lesson learned!
Scheduled an inspection for today between 8AM and Noon. No call or text and technician is a no-show. Hard to understand how you miss a 4 hour window. Poor customer service.
Did not complete work I requested nor provide breakdown of services to be performed, but their slick "estimator" had me confirm that VISA card number they had on file was "accurate." Now I'm getting billed for work that was never done. They even tried to bill to the VISA card that I use for monthly expenses. HAHAHA
I must add that I am very satisfied with the painting and repairs done to the wooden eaves, trim and storeroom door.
Their prices are steep, and I know this from experience with their pest control. The employees are responsible and considerate--except the slick "estimate" which was considered a contract.
I'm going to shop around next spring, beginning with Angie, to find people to finish the job!
They are friendly, and professional. I have called them for everything: leaks, broken dish washing machine, toilet, refrigerator and bugs. They might not come out immediately but I feel they are somewhat less expensive than other companies. Also they don't try to sell me their products.
They have been great for pest control. Fair evaluation - did not try to upsell us unnecessarily and we appreciate that!
Food C.Many years ago, ABC was the go to company for all things residential service. If you had a pest, they knew how to get rid of them, if your AC had issues they would come out and diagnose and fix the problem, on and on. What Bobby Jenkins was known for is no longer they have come another diluted brand that has techs with no experience in the field.
Today, I had a tech arrive at our house. He looked exceptionally young. He entered, and I explained how new our system was and what was going on with one of our units. He said, that should be easy to figure out. As using his terminology, "all systems are really the same." Assuming that line is taught to people at local trade schools or by ABC to allay any concerns.
He began to assess the problem by timely turning on the unit and observing it operate with the covers off. Then started to say it was likely the thermostat. Removed the thermostat and then started removing the wiring. As he did that the red and white wires crossed making a spark. Then after seeing this he connected a current tester to the wires and yet again, another spark.
From there he went to the motherboard with the fuses to decided there was a blown fuse?! Anyhow, I could go on but why? I am now on the finance as to whether to move away from ABC completely as they are apparently moving away from the focus on service to simply among money. Sad to say good bye but the 3 services we used ABC for are likely going away after 15+ years of being a customer.
Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Exactly the help I needed. Of course like all ABC folks communication was great. He was on time and very personable.
Daniel T.Very overrated company for pest control.
They don't clean up any of the rat feces in the attic. They claim victory, even though they have no proof of it, even though they keep finding traps with rats in them over a month after they said it was cleared. promised there was no way for them to get in. I can hear them coming home and occupying the wall in between my room and my daughter's room.
I'm cancelling my HVAC service plan and will not conduct any future business with ABC.
On Friday, September 27th, one of their drivers ran the red light at 2222 and Mesa, and would have killed me if I had pulled out when my light turned green. The truck was going so fast, I couldn't get the license number, but did manage to clearly see the ABC name on the side of the truck (they're hard to miss).
I can't do business with a company that fails to train their drivers in safe driving. I guess they're waiting until one of them kills someone.
