Note: ABC did not actually treat my home, but John came out, made a thorough inspection, and gave me lots of great advice. He could have charged me for a treatment but explained honestly that there was nothing to worry about and to just keep an eye on things. I respect that kind of transparency in a business. They did as promised and called me 30 min before the service rep arrived (so I was prepared) and came on the day I had scheduled for them (unlike 2 other companies). The rep was polite, respectful (put on booties to not track in dirt when working), and quick but thorough. He gave me an opportunity to ask my zillion questions and answered them all sincerely. I use ABC for pest service and maintenance when I don't already have an independent service person. Overall I've had good experiences. The staff on the phone and the folks who come out are polite and generally know what they're talking about. Their prices are usually good. Sometimes they can bid high, though I think that's just because they're pitching a solution that has more bells and whistles. I would recommend, but if it's not an emergency, it's worth getting other estimates before going forward.

Why should you trust ABC Home and Commercial Services? Let me tell you why - they stand behind their work, and they keep their promises.
We had ABC do some pest control work - including having our roof/attic patched in several places where the critters were getting in. 6 months after this work was done, we had a torrential rainfall, and we found that our roof had leaked in the exact spot that ABC had performed their work. Our spare bedroom sheet rock was stained with water.
I called ABC and told them about the issue. They sent their team out to examine the work that was done on the roof line. They agreed that their work had caused the leak. Then they sent another person out to repair the damage at no charge. The ABC guy spent 2 days painting, patching, and repairing. And all of this work was done without charge, and without the slightest bit of frustration on our part.
We have used ABC for pest control, swimming pool maintenance, and repairs on our sprinkler system. I can assure you we will use them for everything else from now on. Bobby J, thanks for standing behind your work. Your employees are the best, and you have a customer for life.

We've been using ABC for pest control services for many years (and have been happy with their service). We have periodically used them for fairly minor plumbing and electrical repairs as well. Recently, we had our air conditioner get struck by lightening while we were out of town, so we called ABC to see if they could help with a bigger job.... ABC went above and beyond to 1) coordinate details with our insurance company, 2) get a temporary unit installed so that our house sitter/pets could be comfortable while we waited for a replacement, and 3) got the new unit installed and up and running as quickly as they could. Their technicians/servicemen were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy. We will absolutely be calling ABC for all of our future home services.

Professional and prompt - two things you look for (I.E. "DEMAND") for AC repair. In Texas. In August. You can even let professionalism take a back seat as long as they're prompt and your AC blows cold sooner than later. Branden showed up ahead of schedule, was up the ladder quicker than a squirrel with a meth issue, and had all blowing cold almost before our scheduled time. Shop cold. Customers happy. I'm happy. My husband has been a loyal ABC Pest Control customer since July 2010. In November 2014 we inquired about changing our service to have quarterly pest control maintenance rather than six times per year. At that time, the representative my husband communicated with said quarterly service was not an option but that he could "skip" an appointment and re-schedule for a month later. This provided us with the service interval we wanted.

Recently, my husband put in a service request to move the appointment by one month, as he had been doing routinely. He received a response that he was not allowed to do this, as it would cancel more than one appointment per year. At this point, he called and they told him that this is the "policy" and "it has been this way for some time". They sent an email that said we had signature pest control where they came out every month [sic] and that "maybe the best option will be to move towards a quarterly service it will boost your monthly rate from 86.75 to 130.13." So now the best option is for us to pay the same amount per year for ABC to come out less frequently? The whole point of switching to quarterly service for the same amount per year is disingenuous and insulting.

It's sad that a local business would treat a long time customer this way. If you're looking to save money (or not get suckered into paying the same amount per year for 6 times service as quarterly), look elsewhere.
