We had tree service and shrub service done. Scott the arborist was very knowledgeable and answered my questions. He even address other options.
The crew were very courteous and cleaned up a few minor issues after the work was done. We have used ABC for lawn, pest control, handyman services and now trees and we have always been very happy with their work.

We had 2-3 scorpions in the house this spring in the house and I called ABC to give us a bid. I had heard that some places use some crysanthemum-based product and when Ricardo came out to walk through the house and give us a bid, I asked if they used that. I got a sort of "yes, we use that and other stuff" answer--which I should have probed more on and did not.

They came and did pest control, but left pest traps with sticky tape OUTSIDE our house. Today I left the house to find not one but two small cute little Texas Brown snakes hopelessly mired in the trap. We came home to find one more baby dead snake on the front porch. Three dead good snakes in one day.

I never wanted every living thing outside my house killed. They didn't warn me their methods were so harsh, they didn't tell me they put traps outside our house, and I think they are disingenious about their answers to get sales (why didn't they tell me about their sister company or organic possibilities when I asked about the crysanthemum product?).

When I called to complain, Ricardo the estimator's answer was "too bad, those are our policies," and Jessica in sales' answer was "well, we have a sister company that deals with organic people like you--maybe we should set up an appointment with them?"

I'm disgusted with their rudeness, their lack of communication and mostly with the fact that I'm going to have lots of non-scorpion dead critters to deal with until their chemicals go away. Which could be months. They decimated our good critter count!

Complete ripoff. Paid for monthly A/C maintenance. Less than a month after their so-called inspection the rep says I need to replace the evaporator coils and drip pan and add full freon. Estimate was for $4-5,000. Called Stan's Heating and Air to get a 2nd opinion-didn't tell them I had anyone come out. He did a full eval, said coils were just dirty, (which was allegedly "cleaned" last month by ABC on their "work order receipt.) the pan had a clog, needed 1/2 freon. $425. A/C has never worked better! ABC Home & Commercial Services A/C have reps with ZERO ethics only out trying to make a buck rather than count on me as a long time customer. I am cancelling ALL Services from ABC including Pest Control and will NEVER give them a dime of my $ again. I am telling my family, friends and everyone to AVOID this company at all costs. They'll try to screw you over to make a buck! Stan's has a customer for life now.

I used to use ABC for pests control but after 5 months of service with no results I have cancelled my contract with them. It had come to my attention that they are a green service, which is good if it works.........it doesnt. I would go as far to say the spider problem was worse after.

We moved to TX from Pa and just bought our 1st house here last May (lawn looked very nice at that time) but after the drought last year, yard was starting to look pretty bad and being from another state, we were not at all familiar with the types of grass or how to take care of it. Main problem was weeds, dead/brown patches & fire ants so after all the commercials I had seen for ABC where they show these beautiful lawns, we decided to call. The salesman Joe was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable and I told him I wanted my yard to look beautiful and be free of weeds. He did agree we had alot but said he has seen much worse so ours should not be a problem. After a cup of coffee for Joe, we signed all the papers for a year contract to treat the diseased grass, weed treatment and fire ants. Well 2 months later my yard looks the exact same so I called ABC and they sent another rep out to discuss my yard. This young man was also very nice and knowledgeable and went on to explain to me that the weeds I am seeing are Dallisgrass and they (ABC) do not treat for that! I was completely shocked because my whole yard is filled with Dallisgrass...I would think that the 1st thing Joe (the original sales rep) would have said to me is exactly that, especially since he knew my main concern were weeds & that I have no idea of the types of weeds/grass in TX. I still can't believe he never even mentioned the name Dallisgrass to me or said there was nothing they could do for it! So I asked the 2nd rep what I need to do to have a beautiful lawn and he basically told me all the things I could do; rake, use round up, dig the weeds..ect. So now I am wondering what the heck I am paying $127 + tax every quarter for????
I give 2 stars because as I said the reps are very nice and the service also included a check of our irrigation system and that rep was really nice and helpful and set our sprinkler system up for us to make sure it was running at the best times. Also the fire ants in the lawn are gone ( they didn't treat the ones in the beds which the contract does say it includes).

They get two stars because they come off nice and professional, are easy to deal with and I haven't found any live carpenter ants inside of my house in a long time.

They lose one star because they tell you that you're only signing up for a certain number of treatments, when actually the woman on the phone informed me that all of their contracts are auto-renewing for one year. If I hadn't told them to stop coming, they would have kept charging me. Seems a little shady.

They lose two more stars because they were treating my house for carpenter ants and told me that I had no termites on my property. Come to find out, just a few months later, all my trees in my front yard are full of carpenter ants and termites. Their quality of work and expertise seem to be lacking. I won't use them again. I feel like I wasted $400.

I chose to use ABC for my lawn services, but after 3 months of nothing but troubles I am getting to the point that I might cancel the service. Since day one, their communication and customer service has been nothing horrible. I have had to call them at least 10 times to inquire about my service. They don't show up when they say they will, they don't call back when they say they will check on the problem, but they are pretty quick to send me their bill. Here it is on the day they are scheduled to come, at 7:20 in the evening and they didn't show up again. Last time they came at 6:25 in the evening and mowed my lawn in the dark. Sad that because of their lack of communication with their customers and empty promises made when they sold me the account, they are not just losing my business, but others that I have referred to them are thinking twice about the company.

We hired this team about 9 months ago for pest control (ants and other strange creatures) for our home. They've fixed the problem and we continue to enjoy a pest-free home under their care. They are a little on the expensive side, but we have nothing but good things to say.

I had a bit of a shady experience with these guys.

A month ago, a bird got stuck in my oven vent and I called ABC. They sent over a sales guy, who said it'd be $200 to remove it, but for $450, they could do a "full seal" of the house (which, of course, if I didn't do, I'd soon be overrun by rodents, blah blah blah).

I said I just wanted the bird out. So we set up a time, a few days later, for them to come remove it. Sales Guy asked if I wanted to take care of the bill in advance, so I (stupidly) wrote him a check. It all felt a little high-pressure (he also did a "full inspection" of the house and was overall kinda hard to get to leave).

A few hours later, I had second thoughts and called ABC to cancel it. Their lady said no problem, and they'd either return my check or tear it up. Cool.

Later that day, Sales Guy calls me and wants to know why I cancelled. I didn't respond to the voicemail, figuring we had nothing to talk about

A week later, I see that they've deposited my check. That means that, knowing I'd cancelled the service, Sales Guy deposited my check anyway. For work he KNEW they weren't going to do

I called ABC, the lady was apologetic and said they'd cut me a check. Which they did. But I feel like if I hadn't caught it that they would've kept my money.

Like I said - shady.

Recently we had a problem with those pesky squirrels chewing a whole in our roof and deciding to take up residence in our attic. We called ABC Pest Control, you might ask why? My question also. They set a trap in the attic, checked it 3 times of course did not catch anything. Sprayed some foam along roof line and placed approx. 8 inches of flashing along roof line. This all cost us $225.00 We could have done t his for exactly $ 10.00. A complete rip off !!!! We will NEVER call ABC again.
