I have had mixed experiences.The phone schedulers are really helpful and polite. I have used most services and most have been satisfactory. The two exceptions have been tree and lawn The tree people did an excellent pruning job EXCEPT for the trees I asked them not to cut unless I was there and OK'd the trim. They cut without approval when I was dealing with questions on the other side of the house. The other exception is the lawn service. Blow and go is fine but really expensive They were supposed to pull weeds not spray. Six months later I was around when they were here and they had no idea they were not to use the root killer. Maybe that is the reason our Crepe Myrtle is half dead? Contrary to the sales person's assurances that the lawn crew has access to homeowner's requests, they do not....or they do not read the info.The big complaint I have with critter capture and removal is not sending the same person for the same problem. You have to be there and explain the problem and what had already been attempted. As far as emergency help.....one experience was great, one was not great,

My wife and I have been using ABC's pest, handyman and AC/Heating services for several years. They are very dependable and good at what they do.

Last weekend we got received exemplary service from Marc Dziac. Our heater went out on a Friday night where the temperature dipped below freezing. I called at 9pm and Mark was at our house within the hour. It ended up taking until after midnight to fix the heater. With a 3 year old and a 6 month old in the house I'm not it sure what we would've done without Marc's incredible service.

ABC has a great plumbing department. They are quick to respond and show up when scheduled. We had them out and while at our home, came up with a few more things for the technician to do. No problem. We were very pleased with the technician, Mike Yazalina. Very knowledgable and competent. He did a great job and gave us some good recommendations. We highly recommend ABC Home & Commercial Services.

We have been with this company 10 years and love them. We get quarterly service and can only say good things about ABC. Oscar is the best service guy, super star in our book. I have had to have call backs on fire ants at times and ABC has been very responsive. I have never had any phone issues in my communication with ABC.

I'm not thrilled with the phone reception, but I figure they do their best. It just seems like every time I try to get them to call the rep coming out, or the one I've been dealing with, they can't get a hold of them. Either way, each time someone has visited, whether to inspect the house or treat for mice, I have been thoroughly pleased. I had treatment for paper wasps and mice in the attic. Both are gone now, and I can credit ABC. The free inspections have also helped me do my own research and treatment. I would definitely call them again. Also, the price was SO much more affordable then a local company here in Austin. It was outrageous how much those other guys were charging.

Over priced and dishonest.

Evaporator coil leaking.
Company over charges for service call and testing.
Told testing fees would be reduced from the cost to replace the evaporator coil.
Larry the sales person calls and gives a quote of 1850.00.
When asked if the testing fees had been reduced from the quote.
He stated no and reduced the cost to 1650.00
Dishonest.
He knew what i had already paid.
The fee wouldnt have been reduced/ unless i cuaght the guy not being dishonest.
The company provided bad information concerning warranty work.
The leak started a year ago and the parts would have been covered under Carriers warrany.ABC didnt provide good information.Leaving the whole repair parts and labor not covered.
ABC has lost a customer/ being dishonest does not pay.

I solicited their handyman services. What a nightmare. Stay away! They sent someone at my property, and I am sure he meant no harm, but was ill equipped for such a small job I wanted done. The job - Get rid my old plastic tub shower sliding door and clean and recaulk the tub. If I knew that it was that easy to remove my tub sliding door, I would have done it myself. That was the only thing that was done right. He left my tub messy and dirty. He did try to clean it with acetone, which I thought would either make him faint or even worse.... He spent a lot of time on the phone w/ multiple people asking for advise. He kept on telling me he wished, he had his bag and his materials. Are you kidding me? I took the day off, so I can baby sit and google how to take the grease and best cleaning agent for grout, stains are. It even gets better, I asked him how soon can I use my bathroom, as he finally got to recaulking the tub. He then stated " Well let us read the instructions, 24 hours." Ok, so today I spent 3 hrs trying to clean my tub, which I paid close to $300 to get done. Waited 24 hrs to turn on the water, and low and behold I now have a leak downstairs. Now what he was doing on my tub, I don't know. All I know is he told me someone will be calling to set up an appointment for your tile. And this morning I got that call. And to think I had the same companys handyman services come and give me a quote on another project! I don't think so. Extremely unhappy and Disappointed customer! If this company cares about their customers, they would make this right.

Get a second opinion on Air Conditioning Repair! We have been using ABC for many things over the years, and we thought we had a great service man who has fixed our unit several times. However, our unit went out last week, and we were told by ABC that it would be $1000 to repair, and they urged us to purchase a new unit for $6,000. I decided to get a second opinion, and we had someone else out who fixed it for $175 (plus $75 service call), and had our unit working in no time. I am never using ABC again, and I wonder how much I have been overpaying them to make repairs for the past few years. Very unhappy about this, but for us, it has a happy ending because we did find a new AC guy who is awesome!

If there were negative stars I'd give ABC -5! I terminated service with ABC on June 14 after they showed up to service my house 4 hours early, exposing my dogs to chemicals I explicitly request they not be exposed to and left the backyard gate unlatched allowing my dog to escape. I was livid that they arrived outside of scheduled hours, exposed my dogs to the chemical... But I was beyond mad that my border collie was wandering the neighborhood 1 hour before they were scheduled to arrive and I had to get her to safety due to lack of care. I terminated service that afternoon!!! I was never contacted again until a service technician named Jim called at 2:42 to ask a question about the service he was performing (spraying chemicals without consent or permission). I have once again had to call ABC and they claim they have no record of cancellation or the complaint that led to it. NEVER USE THIS DISHONEST, UNCARING, AND DANGEROUS COMPANY!!

This company is TERRIBLE at construction. I had a patio cover built that is structurally unsafe. In the two years since it was built I have lodged over 10 complaints from leakage, poor materials to structual problems. I have now found out that they lied when they told me no permit was required. It is required and the structure is completely out of compliance. Three other contractors have given me letters citing improper attachment to the house, incoorect size joist hangers, using deck screws rather than joist nails, incorrect size posts which are not properly attached to beams , nor set plumb. They also tell me there is about $800 worth of materials used and I paid $4893.

I have felt unsafe in my own home, fearing the wall it is attached to would collapse. Not to mention my fear of kids and animals being under the thing. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and I expect I will need to file a lawsuit to be reimbursed for the damage they have caused to my home.

Don't make the same mistake I did. DO NOT use this company!
