Worst customer service. Could never get a call back after repeated attempts. We had them come out and do some plumbing work which they never completed. Then when we tried to reschedule for them to come and finish the work they never replied. They sound real nice on the phone but it's just another big faceless company. Find someone local you can trust.

We are having a pretty bad experience with the pool division. We have been waiting two weeks for a simple repair. They have missed two appointments and didn't call to say they weren't coming. I learned today that they finally have the needed part for our repair but it is on the wrong truck. I've wasted two precious vacation days on them and the pool is turning green while I wait. I wish we had chosen a different company.

I've used ABC a number of times for pest-related services (termite treatments on a home I'm buying or selling, etc) and they've always been punctual, easy to schedule, friendly, and professional. I think their pricing is fair, and most recently I had someone out to look at what appeared to be an armadillo burrow under my porch - the were EARLY (that never happens!), ended up not charging me for the inspection/service call, made the recommendation to cover up the site and see if it's still active vs. just charging me to do work I might not need, AND after I told them I'd cover up the site, THEY picked up a shovel and covered it for me. Really a great company of honest people to deal with.

Well, I suppose it had to happen eventually, my first one star review. I saved it for what is truly the most frustrating experience with a service company I can recall. I am sure this will turn in to a lengthy tale, but here is my experience.

I had an appointment set up for ABC to come out and check my Pentair pool filter, which was leaking DE in to the pool. The filter was under warranty and the manufacturer, Pentair, actually set this up and were covering the cost. So, appt set and Robert was to come out and check it out. They don't give a time frame for the appointment, only a day, which makes it tough, so I have to stay home and wait for him. He texts around 430 that he is headed over, gets here and checks it out, changes a gasket, and says its fixed. Odd that he didn't even open the filter, just changed a gasket in the multi port valve. Hmmm, ok. Sure enough, almost a week later, after vacuuming and running the cleaner, it is clear that the problem isn't fixed as DE is still getting in the pool. So I call back, make another appointment, which is the same deal- no specific time, just wait around all day. Around 430 Robert calls instead of texts. He leaves me a message telling me I need to troubleshoot and make sure the problem exists (the EXACT same stuff I already did- YES there is a problem, Pentair confirmed it and I have been waiting for him for 9 hours at this point). I call him back within 60 seconds of missing his call and he doesn't answer so it goes to voice mail and I leave a message. Wait around for 10 or 15 minutes, no response so I text him. He says he left me a vmail I should listen to it. I have to tell him that I called him back right away and left a message, I have been waiting for him all day, when will he get here? His response is that its late, he is stuck in traffic, and he can *try* to fit me in tomorrow. Are you kidding me? Absolutely infuriating. He wastes my entire day by not being thorough the first time, making me wait for him all day, and now to try to save HIS time he tried to get me to do the troubleshooting that was already done? And now he decides he doesn't want to come over since traffic is getting bad but is so gracious to offer that he can *try* to come by the following day (and me waste yet another day waiting for him). Mind numbingly poor customer service and an incredibly lazy technician.
Anyway, speak to Pentair and they say give ABC one more shot and if they dont come through they will cancel their service authorization and get another company for me. Ok, so I call ABC, tell them I am still having a problem and that I need another tech but only if it can be a different tech- I am through with Robert.
New tech gets here and he offers other services such as taking apart the filter and cleaning it which I realize is an upsell attempt so tell him him very clearly to perform *only* the services authorized and covered by Pentair warranty. Nothing extra. He says ok, and agrees that since the filter is less than 1 year it woudn't even need it anyway. So, with that they get to work. An hour'ish later he says they are done but couldn't find a DE leak. They have clearly missed something, but at this point but I've given up on them. Anyway, off they go. End of story with ABC, right? Nope, now I get a bill from ABC for $130 for the second visit. What?? I call them and the person in billing says there are notes that they performed services that werent covered under the Pentair service call. Again, you have to be kidding me. I explain to her I told them very clearly do nothing extra and I also confirmed with Pentair that any bill should go to them. She said she would contact the pool division and straighten this out, and call me back. She was nice on the phone, and ABC is a big company with a lot of red tape it seems as I am still waiting for that return phone call to tell me the billing issue is resolved. So, all this and I STILL have DE getting in to my pool

TL;DR. Tech didn't fix the problem. Stood me up at 5 o'clock on the 2nd visit. 3rd visit the new tech didnt fix it AND billed me for services I specifically told them not to do. Still waiting for billing issue to be resolved and to top this all off the problem still isnt fixed.

WE recently had ABC Landscaping destruct a front sidewalk from our front door to our driveway and street and install pavers with steps to our front porch. They also installed a paver patio in our backyard off an existing patio porch. From the beginning I was so impressed with the professionalism of first Rachael Keller, the Landscape bidder---whom is an exceptional asset to this company---and then the crew that came to install the pavers. Jerry, the crew head, was another exceptional person, along with his very good crew!! Always a smile and working against a timeline. They were very respectful that our space was disrupted for our grandson to play, and our back and front yards were in a state of "work in progress", but at the end of each work day, all of their equipment was gathered and placed efficiently within our fence and the workspaces were cleaned up until their next return. They worked long days to try and meet a requested deadline and in spite of deteriorating weather, they were able to get it all done. We can say how pleased we are with the job, but also with the quality of folks committed to working with this company. We can honestly say this company has a very high expectation of their employees, but also of the quality of work that they do. We are highly pleased with this company and their work. We will be looking to them again to do more landscaping.

The service work was acceptable as far as I could tell. What bothered my wife and I was how much of a mess the crew left, not to mention the huge scratch on our stairs from a flashlight. Our 14 foot ceilings have 12-15 dark black handprints from dirty hands. Crazy that they'd allow that. Gloves should be mandatory. They also scuffed our walls with their ladder. The first two techs were friendly, which was great. I think the third, also friendly tech, was the one that left the mess.

I had them install a bathroom vent and it never seemed to work very well. Upon inspection I found that the trap vent door that was supposed to open with the airflow, was blocked by the exhaust hose. It was installed in such a way the door would not open rendering the fan unless.

I also received a quote to have an existing exterior wire rerun with proper conduit and the quote was $990! Klock's Electric quoted it at $240 and finished the job in less than an hour.

Having a horrible experience trying to buy services!
After receiving a quote (eventually) I have had to call almost daily and still haven't managed to schedule service. Apparently its down to me (the customer) to call and co ordinate between the various departments....
No account management and certainly no ownership.
