Very happy with service. Got four quotes for HVAC replacement and Abacus had the best overall product (Lennox) and pricing.

Team was great. Came out the very next day and installed both inside and outside units. Installed thermostat and explained how to use. They laid carpet protectors inside and made sure to clean up after job was done.

It seems there are some bad reviews on Yelp but from what I understand, that is for the Houston company and on the plumbing side. This was service in Austin and on the HVAC side.

Can highly recommend Abacus for HVAC install in Austin.

Signed a contract for priority service. Paid extra for. Claimed the contract was only for a year. It's a ripoff.

I own a property that used to be a manufactured home that was put on an FHA approved slab and completely remodeled. I made an appointment for the electrician and plumber to come out. Electrician came out and resolve my issues, but the plumber asked to come out the next day. The plumber just came and tells me they aren't able to work on the property since it was previously a manufactured home, even though it is a real property now. They ironic thing is that there is an outside faucet from the ground in the yard that has nothing to do with the house and yet they would not even work on it.

New hot water heater purchased and installed from Abacus Plumbing. Amazing service. Curtis Kurka, the technician was polite and friendly. Did an excellent job of removing old heater and installing new heater. Completely cleaned area when finished. Next plumbing problem...... will ask for help from Curtis again. Very pleased!!!

Went thru Home Depot to see who they recommended for for air conditioning repair,ours went out at the hottest point in the summer I was impressed with the turnaround time at Abacus air and plumbing. It turned out to be the capacitor
On the air conditioner unit.
The part was reasonably priced and I just wanted my air fixed.
The young mean was very nice and courteous, I would recommend them to my friends.

Don and JD just completed the job. The builder and his electrical contractor installed 6 AWG Aluminum wire from the panel to the provided Electric Vehicle charger in the garage. Aluminum wiring to the outlets in a residential home was outlawed decades ago after causing so many house fires. The literature that comes w the outlet says "copper only". If you think all electricians are the same you're wrong.
Abacus installed copper wire to replace the aluminum wire. Don and JD did an excellent job. They were very respectful of my home and the cleaned up before they left. This is the second time I use Abacus. They explain what to expect and t address all my concerns. I will call them next time I need an electrician.

Used care salesman approach to plumbing and electrical. Ridiculous estimate, more than 2x more expensive than the 3 other estimates I got from other reputable electricians. Stay away, literally call any other electrician these guys are garbage.

Don't sign up for the "membership club". It's the the Hotel California.
I've requested cancellations 2 X's now: "sure thing" they politely say, then a week later still no reversal of the charges to my CC.
I started this 2 weeks before my membership was to renew. I'm going back in the que, another long wait period to speak to someone. I hope 3rd times a charm.
Ya'll learn from my mistake. It's not worth it no matter what they try to tell you.

Edit: complaints at the HQ helped. They quickly turned things around and got us fixed on day three, apologizing for the delay. Freddy did excellent work.

Initially had a great experience with Abacus, as they installed a full new HVAC system in our home. Not the cheapest, but labor was done well.

Three months later and a part to an outside unit started making noises. Technician came out and promised a fast repair. Three days without a repair and the whole unit shut down and broke due to that part malfunctioning. We were told by the same technician that it would be fixed the next day. Now we are on day #3 without an AC in this heat wave. Multiple calls have not helped.
