To the owner of AAA plumbing and solar...
Please do not come back to our neighborhood. You are not welcome here!! Speeding down our street, going into oncoming traffic in a residential neighborhood to pass the car in front of you. You nearly hit me and my 6month old daughter head on, and if I didn't slam on my breaks, you would have hit us.
The worst part, I called the number for the company listed on your company truck, AAA plumbing, and YOU ANSWERED and told me maybe I shouldnt drive so f-ing slow in my neighborhood. First of all, it's a neighborhood with children. Second, I was not in front of you, I was simply trying to get home SAFELY with my daughter and driving on the other side of the street then you. And third, thank goodness I was driving a safe sleep in a neighborhood, or else my daughter and I would have been hit head on.
Take your business somewhere else, you're not welcome here!!!
I am beyond disappointed with this ""service"" Phil hall provided. We have a major gas leak at our house. So we called our home warranty and they sent Phil out. He called Christmas Eve clearly unhappy. He said he would be to our house between 9 and 11 am on Saturday. He called at 8:15am and said he would be at our house in 20 minutes I told him nobody would be there until 8:45 because we weren't staying at the house. He responds with ""ok we will call you next week"" and hung up on me. So my husband calls him back and says I will be there in 20 minutes he said he wouldn't be there for another 30 ok. So we show up he's pulling out as we are pulling up he left his card on the door. So he follows us back into the driveway comes in the house asks questions. We tell him what we've been told by the gas company. He says I can't touch this house until I see permits (we have lived here a month and haven't done any work) my husband says politely ok, thank you so much. The guy starts shaking his head and my husband says why are you shaking your head. You've been a dick since you called us Christmas Eve when you called. Anyways, really long story short my husband told him to get out of the house and he just stood there and proceeded to call him every name in the book. This man should be ashamed of himself if this is how he conducts business. Clearly it is because of the other reviews on here. I wish I videotaped this altercation. I was shocked and disturbed that this is who our home warranty is sending to peoples homes. Merry Christmas!
Phil Hall.one of the worst plumbers I ever meet, Oh should said the worst plumber.
Very rude and 0 % professionalism I will never hire him again. Worst experience ever.
Carlos B.I am Glad this person couldn't even find my house. Also reached out through First American Home Warranty; I wonder why a decent company would associate themselves with such a poor quality, poor service, dis-reputed company! This person called me almost two hours after the time he was supposed to be in my house, to tell me he could not find the house and would not come back until I go out there and put signs on how to get to my house!!! If this was the last plumber in the world; I would learn the trade and do the job myself, before I gave them my business! Deserves 0 stars.
Phyllis A.Phil was sent to me through our home warranty plan. He is an honest as they come. Knows his stuff. Communicates well and let's you know when to expect him etc. We highly recommend him when you need some plumbing work done. Ask for AAA Plumbing when dealing with YOUR warranty company as he is with several.

This service was assigned to us by the insurance company. Came out told us we needed to remove part of our wall and how out of code our water heater was. Acted like it was our fault that a company came out in 2006 and changed the water heater and didn't do the 2015 regulations. Okay set that part aside. Makes an appointment to replace our water heater Friday 1-5. Great see you then. 1 comes. 2. 3. 4. We give him a call no answer. 5 comes we give him a call no answer. Calls back the next morning states that the insurance company never gave him approval. Earliest he can come is Tuesday. We call insurance they say we have him approval Friday morning. Insurance calls him and sets up appointment Tuesday 8-12. 12 comes NO SHOW, no call. Shocker. We call him. No answer, my step dad leaves a message gets a call back in minutes vs my mom who called multiple times the day he no showed wasn't so lucky. Says the appointment was Wednesday afternoon. What time? Afternoon he says. So is that 1pm? 3? 5? 6? He says after 2pm. Okay. Calls about 4pm says the water heater he's supposed to be replacing it with is in LA and he can't do it today he can come tomorrow. Then proceeds to call my mom a B**** and that he cant talk to a women.
Do not trust this company they are completely unprofessional and rude. This is supposedly the owner of the company.
Small update another company comes out and says this needs to be replaced immediately as it's dangerous to leave the way it is. He was completely shocked that we had been going on 14 days with this problem. Oh and the piece of wall the owner of this corrupt business made us cut out because it was ""out of regulation"" DIDN'T NEED TO BE CUT OUT.
I moved into my place a year ago. Phil has been out three times. He is always on time and greets me with a smile. He's very matter of fact and super knowledgeable. He's also beyond fair with what he charges. I know I can rely on him to help out when things go wrong.
My home warranty company scheduled AAA Plumbing and Solar to diagnose and repair a leaking water heater. Phil came to my home and confirmed the water heater needed to be replaced.
The day he came out to do the actual work, he quoted me an out of pocket cost that was different than what the home warranty company had advised. I called my home warranty company to ask why they were not covering the cost of the water heater exchange (the additional charge), as the water heater was under warranty. They spoke with Phil as he was in the process of exchanging the water heater with the distributor and when Phil returned to my home he told me he would no longer be doing the work because he wasn't going argue with a home warranty company about paying.
Keep in mind Phil had already disconnected my old water heater, drain pan pipe, gas line and water line, and had nearly completely drained my old water heater. He became argumentative and rude. He finally agreed to put the old water heater back to a ""working"" status. (However, he left it still leaking from a drain pan he cracked during the minimal work he did. The water heater continued to leak all over the floor when he left.)
I called the home warranty company and they confirmed they would pay for the additional exchange cost. I had them on speaker phone and they explained this to Phil and he told them he was now refusing to do the work because he wasn't going to do work on warrantied items any more.
I offered to pay the entire amount to Phil and seek reimbursement from the home warranty company myself, both in order to have a working water heater and because Phil had come out prepared to do the job. This would have alleviated Phil from needing to worry about getting paid. He refused. Seems silly and extremely unprofessional to take out his frustrations with the home warranty company on me, especially since I was willing to pay him and take on the problem of reimbursement from the warranty company myself.
If Phil decided to take on home warranty company work, then as a businessman he should learn to handle his business appropriately and not take it out on the customer that has no part in that exchange. I called the home warranty company not to question Phil's integrity, but to question why they weren't paying for a covered item. Now I clearly see that Phil was trying to circumvent the home warranty company process to get paid and trying to hide that from me. Had I not called to question the cost, I would never have known. It begs the question, was he also going to recover the cost from the home warranty company in order to double dip in his cost recovery?
Unprofessional, unethical, bad business practices.
Now I know why there are so many bad reviews of this company. I strongly suggest finding someone else to do your plumbing.
Find another company to call period. This guy almost runs into me on the frwy and then starts to tailgate me on the 101 doing 70mph. I call him to let him know he's driving a billboard down the road and should be more considerate and he has the nerve to call me a dumb blonde and some other words. If his driving skills, his foul mouth and reviews here on yelp are anything like his services he should be out of business. There are more considerate companies around Conejo Valley that can help you.
First American assigned this A$$ clown to service my home. When he called me to schedule the appointment he asked so many questions that were beyond my scope of knowledge. I mean if I knew what he was asking why the heck would I even need him to come to my home. Before we could go any further he annoyingly stated that my repairs were not covered and I just had enough. I hung up on him even though I know the repairs are covered this jerk deserves less than 1 star. He deserves to get his a$$ kicked.
