Bait and Switch! They act eager to come out and help. They tell you that you have to pay $89 for a quote and then hit you with a INSANE estimate for the repairs! They wanted to charge me over 3 times (plus the $89 quote cost) versus what I ended up paying after I asked them to leave and called someone else. They were rude when I chose to not use their services and went so far as to complain about me wasting their time - even though I paid them $89 for them to show up for 5 minutes. Nope! Not OK!

This companies employees are rude, unprofessional and do an awful job! I would NEVER hire them again! The manager, James, threatened me and said I better let it go...I have filed a complaint with the BBB rating and the City of San Antonio,Texas. There's no excuse for their behaviour....I would Not recommend that you hire them....

I called on Sunday for an emergency plumbing leak, I was told I would be contacted by the plumber. He called at 2:30 stating he would be here in an hour and a half. It is now 11:00 pm. I have called at least 5 times and still have not heard from anyone. Dispatcher keeps telling me someone will call you but no one calls. I will call another plumbing company and give my business to someone who wants it.

Too expensive. They temporarily fixed my a/c compressor which lasted only 24 hours with a bill of over $500. Afterwards, they provided an additional estimate of $1,900 to replace the compressor that was still on warranty. No full credit for prior day billing. Received 3 other estimates from different companies to replace compressor between $1,350 and $1,400. Lastly, they do not provide a detail receipt of work performed after numerous request.

I came home yesterday evening to a cold leaking water heater. The number I called sent me to an after hours call center who pages the on call plumber to call me back. I was called in less than 5 min. Jessie requested some photos of my current heater to insure he had all the parts before arriving. He also brought 2 new heaters in case replacement was required. I am so thankful he did. He installed the new unit in about two hours and took the old to dispose it. I am very happy with my new heater and hot water again. Jessie was so professional and with over 15 years experience if I remember correctly. I asked.:) I will definitely do business with this company again. Oh did I mention the affordability, 1 yr warranty of parts and labor by the company plus the 5 yr manufacture warranty.

So I called to make an appt and was told they could make it the following day for the morning. So now it's dinner time and guess what....no show, no call. So I call and was called back saying "I didn't have you scheduled". So what kind of people tell me a time but not their people. Won't recommend or use in the future.

Based on some decent online recommendations, I called AAA Affordable Plumbing, Heating, & Air Conditioning to fix a clogged kitchen drain. A plumber came out and spent an hour trying to snake the drain (at a quoted price of $217) but failed. After the snaking failed, he gave me a new quote of $1,587. When I asked why it was so high, he said that the fasteners he would need to replace some degraded 2" cast iron pipe underneath the apartment were extremely expensive. He came back the next day with another plumber and did the job in approximately two hours. For the next three days, I called and asked for a complete invoice that explained the cost, including the "expensive fasteners." They promised to send it, but I received nothing. I also learned that the fasteners and 8 feet of 2" PVC pipe they installed cost very little. I called again to ask about the price and invoice, and a AAA representative estimated that their basic costs were probably no more than $350. He still refused to give me a complete invoice, and he accused me of misrepresenting my conversations with his employees. Based on my experience, AAA is a disrespectful and deceptive business. I recommend finding another firm to do your job. $1,587 for a two-hour job that was inaccurately explained to me before I agreed to it? I will never use this company again.

I use these guys often for plumbing, a/c, and heating problems. They are affordable and come out right away. I also like that they explain everything to me before they do any work. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a plumber or A/C tech.
