Active in plumbing since the late 70s. Obtained his Journeyman license in Louisiana in 1985. In late 1985, he relocated to Atlanta and successfully passed the exam for his Georgia Master license. In 1987, James and Sylvia moved back to New Orleans. In 1992, James took the second exam for the Louisiana Master license and successfully passed. James has done plumbing work for hurricane relief efforts in Texas. He earned his Pearl River County Mississippi certification in 1993, but it lapsed when job opportunities dried up.
