Our water heater suddenly failed and started leaking on a weekend. We called and Steve came out the next day, after consulting on the phone. Based on photos we emailed after the phone call, he quickly arranged for a new water heater to be delivered and then installed it without any delay. Stayed in close communication throughout, juggled his schedule to accommodate ours, Friendly and straightforward. Gave clear instructions after installation on how to maintain the water heater. Gladly honored the $50 Yelp coupon.

We were very impressed with the swift, painless process, all done one working day after our call. Turns out Steve had worked at San Jose Water Company for over a decade so really knows what he is doing.

Will definitely use him again for other plumbing needs given how responsive, efficient, and honest he is!

I was in Mexico when I received a call from my roommate telling me our kitchen was flooded and the sink was leaking. I immediately panicked because I was in party mode and hungover and drunk at the same time PLUS thousands of miles from home. I called A&W (8 AM on a Saturday morning) and Steve answered right away. He came over immediately and fixed the problem faster than I could say margarita. He kept in contact with me while he was replacing the sink to make sure I wasn't freaking out. Everything was taken care of quickly and professionally. He even cleaned, dried and put away all the stuff under the sink for me! I was able to relax and enjoy the rest of my vacation and haven't had a problem since. I highly recommend this company. Gracias A&W!!!!

This is the review for the customer service. We got into a sticky situation with our constructor who is finishing up or big project and I needed a second opinion on the price. They did not have to do that, I told them upfront that the job is done and this was just a second opinion call. They talked to me and spend a good amount of time on the phone explaining how they would go around doing the job and what the price would be. Thanks again A &W Plumbing!

Had complete sewage blockage at the weekend. Called Roto Rooter who came out and completely failed to make any impression on the problem, then left with their money!
Called Steve at A&W, who was on another job, but took a few minutes to come and see what our issue was. Steve made some suggestions as to how the problem could be addressed, and said he would try to get back next day (Sunday), as he was on another job.
Steve came Sunday and tried various options until he found one that would provide at least a temporary fix. It worked! We had a functional sewer line in about 1-hour.
Steve said if he couldn't clear the blockage, he wouldn't charge - now that's customer service!
There is more work to do for a permanent fix, but A&W is now our preferred plumber going forward! Highly recommended.

Our toilets and shower were clogged Saturday night. We have had this problem before and knew that we needed a plumber to snake the drain. Most plumbers are off on Sundays, so we got really lucky with Steve from A&W Plumbing. We called him and he quoted us 2 prices, one for snaking from outside cleanout opening and one for snaking drain from roof. Like he promised, he came a few hours later and saved the day! We were so happy to be able to use our toilets and shower again! Very personable and knowledgable guy. We will definitely call on him again for future plumbing issues. So glad we found him on Yelp.

Steve was sincere in his attempt to fix my broken flush. He did mention that he would need a part and ordered it but still came even though the part had not come to at least help with a temporary fix. Later, once the part came, he came again (at no extra charge) and fixed it. He was very courteous and professional each time in my dealings with him. I will definitely use him again and recommend him to others.
