Called Steve about my failing water heater. He requested photos and was able give me great info about my gas water heating options. I had a kenmore and he directed me to the website for warranty info but mine was no longer there. Very old model. Got a quick estimate. He had great communication throughout this exploratory process but unfortunately we could not use him as the home owners went with another vendor. I would definitely recommend Steve though just out of the knowledge and info he was able to give me. He made sure to tell me to wear a mask before removing the fiberglass heater blanket. I felt comfortable I had called the right place after several other phone calls. He knew his stuff. Sent me pictures and info regarding tankless heaters as well. Definitely go with Steve for tankless. Great prices, wonderful follow up calls/texts and knowledgable. Will recommend to others.

I rarely write reviews but A&W Plumbing has earned my praise and my future business with the
outstanding service I received from them. They were prompt, knowledgeable, and I found their
rates to be very competitive.

Sunday evening I smelled gas in the area outside of my water heater. While using Yelp to make a list of plumbers to call first thing Monday morning I noticed A&W was listed as still being open. I left them a phone message and within the hour they got in touch with me. They took care of my problem that same evening.

I also really appreciate that they took the time to give useful advice and detailed explanations in response to all of the plumbing questions I asked. I am very happy I found them and I will be using them again in the future for any plumbing needs.

5 stars for Steve! I am impressed with his superior level of service. I appreciated his prompt phone calls and attention on a busy Monday. I had a problem with my dishwasher, and I was hesitant about calling someone for a repair. Steve offered a free estimate, and he arrived on time. I didn't even have to ask him to take off his shoes. He brought his tools and several towels! I have never met anyone more thoughtful. He was able to pull apart the hoses, troubleshoot, identify the problem and give me two solutions. He gave me the quick fix solution so I would have time to discuss the options with my husband later in the evening. He even identified the problem with my shower. I will definitely call Steve when I decide to remodel my shower. I wish I can give 10 stars! Thank you Steve! I will tell all my friends to give you a call when they have a problem.

Our water heater suddenly failed and started leaking on a weekend. We called and Steve came out the next day, after consulting on the phone. Based on photos we emailed after the phone call, he quickly arranged for a new water heater to be delivered and then installed it without any delay. Stayed in close communication throughout, juggled his schedule to accommodate ours, Friendly and straightforward. Gave clear instructions after installation on how to maintain the water heater. We were very impressed with the swift, painless process, all done one working day after our call. Turns out Steve had worked at San Jose Water Company for over a decade so really knows what he is doing.

I was in Mexico when I received a call from my roommate telling me our kitchen was flooded and the sink was leaking. I immediately panicked because I was in party mode and hungover and drunk at the same time PLUS thousands of miles from home. I called A&W (8 AM on a Saturday morning) and Steve answered right away. He came over immediately and fixed the problem faster than I could say margarita. He kept in contact with me while he was replacing the sink to make sure I wasn't freaking out. Everything was taken care of quickly and professionally. He even cleaned, dried and put away all the stuff under the sink for me! I was able to relax and enjoy the rest of my vacation and haven't had a problem since. I highly recommend this company. Gracias A&W!!!!
