Beware senior citizens. This fast talking company charged $700 for a septic float plus $288 just come look at the problem. My mom was frazzled. She said okay and was out $1000.00 !!! Shame on you for your business practices.
C F.This company is pretty much con-artists. They put in a bid for a certain price, then half way into the project, they suddenly jack up rates, but threaten to walk away with the hundreds of dollars you first put into it. They are rude and dishonest. Go with ANYONE else, you'll be better off.
Garret R.These guys will overcharge you big time!!!! I'm doing a kitchen remodel and needed some electrical work done. There bid came in at $6777.54! Groff. electric's bid came in at $1100 plus taxes. That's over 6 times Groff Electric's bid. Unless you're OK BEING RIPPED OFF, save your time and never call these guys.
Albert Z.I only give them 1 star because they showed up. After that? None. My problem was a Thermocouple (Waterheater). My pilot light was active but wouldnt stay on. So I called them on Day 1. No problem. Day 2, I get a call saying that someone else would be coming out to look at it (either JP Plumbing or Yelm Plumbing) which is a subcontractor of A+ from what I was told. After they got there, I told them what the problem was and they gave me an estimate. The estimate was based on the fact that the repair man could not simply replace the Thermocouple. The entire assembly would have to be replaced due to the model of the Water Heater (RHEEM Guardian). They gave me an estimate of approx $580 to replace the assembly or $1800 to replace the entire Water heater (do not know if that price included the actual tank itself). After opting for replacing the Burning Assembly, I did some research. I decided with the price of replacing the assembly, was MORE than the price of a brand new actual water heater! So I opted to replace the entire heater through Home Depot services. I was led to Fast Plumbing Services which came out the next day. Result? $99!!! $99 to replace the thermocouple that JP Plumbing or YP Plumbing told me they could not replace without replacing the entire assembly for $600! And with Fast Plumbing, even if they replaced the entire assembly , it would have only cost $250!. WHAT A SHAM! To top it off, with A+ (JP , YP) when they came out, they didnt even do anything on Day 1. They didnt even TOUCH or check the water heater AND told me it would be a couple of day later to get a replacement (instead of finding out the make and model of it BEFORE coming out). I have read other reviews and I am now JOINING THE CLUB. Shyster? Shammer? Rip offs? yeah. After that price quote of $600 and waiting 2-3 more days or getting it fixed on day one for $99??? A+ and their subcontracted company of JP or YP out of yelm...get a F+.
John J.My warranty for a light they put in had just expired but Rich and John came out at the end of there long day and fixed it. I can't speak about plumbing but the guys were friendly and courteous. Thanks guys .
I felt in the past that when they came and pumped my tank , they where trying to sell me and get as much money out of me as possible
I was a fan of A+ Septic until a few weeks ago. The septic line to my house was clogged and I called A+ to come out to unclog my line. I ended up being gouged. This was the third time I had used A+ and felt that they would be upfront and honest with me. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. this time. I ended up being out of town and my husband was told by the technician that he needed to have the tank pumped out in order to clear the line (even though A+ had pumped us out 1 and a half years before.) We paid the for the pumping $300+ then was told that we needed to pay $300+ more to get our line checked out going into our drain field. (Even though we had had a complete drain field upgrade eight years ago-terralift and pipe replacement AND A+ was told about it each time they came.) Instead of educating us, they made it seem like if we didn't spend the $700+ to get needless work done on our septic system then a catastrophe would happen. When I returned from my trip I called A+ and explained the mistake to the manager and asked him to at least return the $300+ for the inspection of the drain field pipe. The manager had the technician call me who basically said that I was not being truthful and was promised the manager would call me again. (Not great customer service!) I never received a call back from the manager nor was the issue I had with them made right. I am not sure what ""satisfaction guaranteed means"". It is a shame because I have other septic work that needs to be done and I sure won't call A+ to do it.
I agree with the other reviews. By the time they got to my house I had all the gaskets together and was close to finishing my leak under the sink. They spent literally 15 minutes to finish and charged me $400.
Anne R.Found them in the yellow pages - did exceptionally good work and, yes, they ARE expensive but the work is guaranteed for much longer than the usual company and I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for....cheap prices mean cheap work. Did some homework and would use them again, in fact, probably will for the next project!
Do not ever use this company! They are in the business of taking advantage of people! My 70 year old mother was charged over $500 for a temperature and pressure valve replacement and her water heater still doesn't work! They told her they would give her a discount if she purchases a new water heater from them now...how generous! These people over charge every chance they get based on these reviews. I wish my mother was more internet savvy and had done some research first! These people over charge and then put their profits in silly magnets distributed through the yellow pages phone books and not in their service quality!
