Terrible experience with this company! My home warranty company identified A+ Service Techs after I started having water heater issues. Although they were very prompt about scheduling an appointment/ taking my deductible, there was absolutely no follow up after that. One week later and my water heater is still leaking...and a follow-up report has yet to be submitted. Luckily I was able to have another company come take a look at the issue. Avoid at all costs!

A+ Service Techs was used by my home warranty company American Home Shield to inspect a master shower in my townhouse for a slow leak. I do not live in the house currently, but have tenants. The service tech, Cory, did come to inspect the shower quickly as scheduled.

Following this appointment he never returned a phone call requesting information about his diagnosis. The only information I received was from my tenants and warranty company third party. This was vague compared to a technician's supposed expert opinion which I never received. I phoned Cory more than 15 times and left messages for about a third of those calls politely requesting the courtesy of a returned phone call.

I called the home office and spoke to Fonta who was very friendly and said she would relay my message to Cory to return a phone call. She did this 3 separate times and Cory never returned my call. My insurance company had nothing substantial to use as a diagnosis for the shower. Only when my home warranty company contacted A+ to get an invoice was anything received and the diagnosis remained vague. I think it was typed up by Fonta to quickly appease the home warranty company, whose business they want to keep.

My insurance company employed another plumber to go to the home and perform a diagnosis. I was blessed because they took care of this service call under my policy after me informing them that I could get nothing substantive from A+ Service Techs instead of me paying for a second inspect.

My final perception of this situation is A+ Service Techs, LLC is only concerned with keeping home warranty work and once they are paid for that, their concern stops for the true customer. I have placed a formal complaint with American Home Shield in hopes that their other customers do not get into a frustrating situation with no results for the time and efforts spent.

If A+ or more specifically Cory want to call and discuss this, I welcome the opportunity. You have my phone number.

I would give the 0 stars right now, but I can't! I've been sitting at home waiting for my 10am appointment to show up, it's now 4:30pm. I called at noon to find out what happened to the 10 am appointment and they said it is now 12-4pm and they would call me right back to give me an approximate time when the tech would show up. NO return phone call. I called at 1pm, left a message, no return phone call. I called at 2pm, left a message, no return phone call, I called at 3pm, received voicemail is full! The worse customer service EVER! FULL day wasted, cost me a day of pay! Thanks A+

Will I call this company again, NO!!!!
When Corey came to my home he seem to have an easy fix to my plumbing problem which was to put a camera up the pipe to see where the leak was. When he contacted the Warranty company and they contacted me, Cory's story changed according to AHS Warranty He told them that studs had to be removed to see leak and that he didn't feel comfortable cutting drywall. My home warranty calls for drywall removal. Not sure who is at fault here but I suspect that there was an easier job just down the road. Not really sure and I still have the leak. Run, don't walk.

Was referred to this company via our home warranty company for our dishwasher. He scratched the hell out of our hard wood floors and when we approached the tech about it he lied and said they were already there! They are brand new hard wood floors and now I have 4 gashes in front of dishwasher. When approached they lied about the scratches already being there! Do not use this company because they are not a honest company!

I was referred by my home warranty company when my garbage disposal quit. At first I was put off because when I called I got a voicemail stating I couldn't leave a message. But when I tried back I got Kori and he agreed to come out the same day 12 pm - 4 pm. I called around 3:30 cause I I just wanted to make sure they were still coming. He told me they were running late but definitely still coming. When he got here about 5:30 they fixed the disposal in under 5 minutes. Great service my only advice would be to communicate a bit more with customers and fix the voicemail. But I'm a happy customer and would recommend, as I would use them again. It is 4 days before xmas and the other company I was referred to couldn't come out until like December 28th. I am hosting xmas dinner for 6 so it was a huge relief that he came out the same day, I didn't care how late they were.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This company was assigned to us by our home warranty company (American Home Shield) when our garbage disposal stopped working.

1. It took a week to even hear from A+ Service Techs (which should be renamed F- Service) to schedule an appt to have them come out to analyze the problem. My husband called and left messages SEVERAL times but no response until after a week.

2. When they finally came out to assess the problem, We paid them the standard fee required by our warranty company but he had only fixed half of the problem as he advised he had to order a part and would come back out 4 days later. It is now 4 days later and the tech advised he would be at our home between 8am - 12pm.

3. My husband took the day off to wait at home for the tech. By 12pm, there was no call, no text. We called the warranty company and they were able to reach him. While we waited on the other line, he lied and said, ""I called them to let them know I was running late. I will call them in 45 minutes."" All lies!!!! My husband had his cell phone in hand waiting for a call and he NEVER called. After 45 minutes, he still hasn't called. 5 HOURS later and he still hasn't called. We have called again SEVERAL times and the warranty company even tried to call but no answer.

This is ridiculous!!!! The warranty company (American Home Shield) should drop them IMMEDIATELY because this vendor is giving them a bad name and it makes me want to cancel this warranty and sign up with someone else. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED!!!
