Diane S.HSA Home Warranty assigned A+ to us for our water heater issue. They had 24 hours to contact us to set up an appointment. They couldn't even do that. My attempts to contact them went unanswered and unable to leave messages because of a full inbox. I've read some of the reviews and must say that going without a food disposal vs. hot water when the weather is bitterly cold ... well there is no comparison. I could go without a food disposal forever. Going without hot water is painful! I decided to forgo the Home Warranty and I called Cropp Metcalfe for my water heater issues instead. They came out within hours and I had a new water heater the very next day. I would NOT recommend A+ but rather Cropp Metcalfe for your water heater needs!!!
Deniz A.Had an appointment with them for this past Monday between 12- 4. I call at 4 to see where they were to find out that they closed due to weather. Why wasn't I notified? So I left a message asking for someone to come as soon as possible and I tried calling several times after that with no response. I just now get a phone call (2 days later) from them asking if I was available a week from now?? How come my service request does not take priority when they messed up and didn't call me sooner for a rescheduled appointment. Horrible customer service. Never again.
Brian G.I scheduled an appointment with them three days out to fix a serious plumbing issue. I was understanding that they could not fit us in right away. When they did not show up the morning of the appointment I called and they said that the appointment showed up on their calendar but was never confirmed. I asked how it would have been confirmed. They said they needed to call me and re-confirm the appointment, which they never did. They admitted that they never made that call. I'm baffled that an appointment was made and showed up on their system, but their excuse for not showing up is that they needed to re-confirm that appointment and chose not to. I took a day off work, it's been several days without water in my house, and now I'm starting all over to get the problem fixed. The customer service from A+ on the phone was terrible, their processes or business organization seem non-existent, and I would never recommend using them.
A nightmare! Our warranty company chose this company to fix hot water tank-aquatherm system that supplies heat to condominium and hot water. A+ misdiagnosed the problem which resulted in 6 days of no heat or hot water. A second company was dispatched and resolved issue. A+ was not timely in forwarding diagnosis. The technician name is Shawn aka inept. Michael Mulvihill.
Will I give them even 1 Star - probably not. There is no toilet symbol in yelp. If there was one like that, I would have gladly used that rating because your money is going to go down the drain when you try to consult/hire A + Service Techs.
I will not blame the owners or the technicians actually. As they are probably unaware about the missed business calls. The main issue is with the so called receptionist or telephone operator for these guys. She is rude, forgetful, alien to mild manners and customer service concepts.
I would not call Or do any business with them. For those thinking about contacting them, I would rather throw the money down the drain and keep staring at that rather than waiting for these guys to call you back.
Terrible experience with this company! My home warranty company identified A+ Service Techs after I started having water heater issues. Although they were very prompt about scheduling an appointment/ taking my deductible, there was absolutely no follow up after that. One week later and my water heater is still leaking...and a follow-up report has yet to be submitted. Luckily I was able to have another company come take a look at the issue. Avoid at all costs!
S.D. H.A+ Service Techs was used by my home warranty company American Home Shield to inspect a master shower in my townhouse for a slow leak. I do not live in the house currently, but have tenants. The service tech, Cory, did come to inspect the shower quickly as scheduled.
Following this appointment he never returned a phone call requesting information about his diagnosis. The only information I received was from my tenants and warranty company third party. This was vague compared to a technician's supposed expert opinion which I never received. I phoned Cory more than 15 times and left messages for about a third of those calls politely requesting the courtesy of a returned phone call.
I called the home office and spoke to Fonta who was very friendly and said she would relay my message to Cory to return a phone call. She did this 3 separate times and Cory never returned my call. My insurance company had nothing substantial to use as a diagnosis for the shower. Only when my home warranty company contacted A+ to get an invoice was anything received and the diagnosis remained vague. I think it was typed up by Fonta to quickly appease the home warranty company, whose business they want to keep.
My insurance company employed another plumber to go to the home and perform a diagnosis. I was blessed because they took care of this service call under my policy after me informing them that I could get nothing substantive from A+ Service Techs instead of me paying for a second inspect.
My final perception of this situation is A+ Service Techs, LLC is only concerned with keeping home warranty work and once they are paid for that, their concern stops for the true customer. I have placed a formal complaint with American Home Shield in hopes that their other customers do not get into a frustrating situation with no results for the time and efforts spent.
If A+ or more specifically Cory want to call and discuss this, I welcome the opportunity. You have my phone number.

We had a scheduled appointment time, the tech never showed up or even called. We left several messages, no one was professional enough to even call back.
A+ techs went above and beyond--fast and a very fair price. Will definitely use them again. Highly recommend.
Randi S.Fit me into the days schedule last minute. Arrived on time, fixed my issue quickly, were neat and professional. Most of all, were really nice. Nothing like getting a problem resolved timely and being treated well. Not the first time they've fixed something for me. While I hope nothing else breaks for a long time, I would confidently request them again and would refer them out to friends. Thank you!
