He's not only a great detective, but a genius who can figure out anything. He's also very kind and unfailingly gracious. I was a home builder years ago and then got into the facility management business. So I've worked with a lot of tradesmen, even to the point of having full-time plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians on my staff. Bruce is the most positive, helpful, and skilled plumber I've had the pleasure to work with.

Our first exposure to ASAP was when our property manager needed to replace a water heater in a rental. When I saw the workmanship, I was very impressed. Bruce didn't miss a detail and every soldered joint was perfect in execution and appearance. It was a higher-end water heater, but the bill was very reasonable, considering. So naturally, any time we've needed plumbing done since, we call Bruce.

Last week I finished remodeling a bathroom in our house. Bruce came to install the under mount vanity sink, which had a tricky-to-install external overflow shell, and to set the toilet. While he was working, I couldn't help but notice the total lack of wasted motion in everything he was doing. To me, that is the primary sign of professionalism and I mentioned that to him. He clearly has concentrated on developing maximum efficiency in his work. Never mind the hourly fee, Bruce provides great value.

The very next day, we had a leak inside the wall cavity that was caused by a trim nail from when I installed the baseboard days earlier piercing the supply line. Whoever did the original plumbing had installed the line tight to the drywall on the remodeled bathroom side, rather than further inside the wall cavity. Bruce was booked tight for three days, but called late in the afternoon to say that he had finished his scheduled work early and could come over and fix it. Despite the very tight quarters, he was able to plumb the repair and he set the pipe further into the cavity to prevent future mishaps. He left a small specialized tool behind to make my drywall repair work easier.

Beyond his skill and overall helpful mindset, Bruce is witty, has a good sense of humor, and is a good communicator. If there was a way to give him six stars, I would.

I called Bruce last Sunday to see if he could do a small job unclogging a bathroom sink and tub. He asked if the toilet was backing up because that would indicate a mainline problem requiring rotorooter type equipment. It was not, so he offered to come first thing Monday. He came promptly at 8:30 the next morning, as agreed. The job took less than an hour and we were back in business. Bruce was very nice, professional, efficient. I will definitely use him again.
