Founded in 1925, A&R Mechanical Contractors, Inc. was created as the David W. Reichard Plumbing and Heating Company. Based in a tiny garage on Illinois St. and at first offering limited services, A&R weathered the economic downturn, the war, various recessions, and almost a century of changes in the construction to grow into the premier firm it is today.

With local area and clients' operations grew, so did A&R. During 1967, we launched our initial metal fabrication shop and moved to our existing address on Kettering Park Dr.. Ever since, we've carried on to expand the services we deliver to our community. We continually explore advanced tools like advanced modeling techniques, leverage modular construction through mechanized manufacturing tools and modular systems. We support an integrated project delivery model that enables us to analyze, organize, develop, and build medical facilities, schools, manufacturing plants, and public structures for the well-being of our communities.
