Founded in the year 1925, A&R Mechanical Contractors, Inc. was created as the Reichard Plumbing and Heating Company. Housed in a modest garage on Illinois Street and initially offering a couple of services, A&R weathered the depression, the war, multiple recessions, and nearly a century of changes in the construction to grow into the top firm it is now.

As community and clients' enterprises developed, so did A&R. In the year 1967, we opened our first sheet metal shop and shifted to our present address on Kettering Park Drive. Since then, we've continued to broaden the offerings we provide to our clients. We consistently explore advanced tools like Building Information Modeling (BIM), utilize modular construction through automated manufacturing machinery and modular systems. We support an holistic project delivery model that allows us to evaluate, organize, implement, and create healthcare buildings, academic buildings, factories, and municipal facilities for the benefit of our local areas.
