We used Adam because he was highly recommended by our neighbor. He came out, was very personable and did a good job. A few months later we needed a new water heater, we called Adam. Having used him before we were comfortable paying him in full with the promise of him completing the job asap. That was in October and we have placed several calls with assurances he will be out to complete the job to no avail. No receipt, no warranty, no completion of the job, not very professional.

I needed a tankless hot water system installed and contacted multiple vendors in the Big Bear area. It is amazing how many contractors did not respond, and some of the ones that did provided dates that were longer than 30 days out for an appt, or offered extremely expensive quotes without even seeing the project. While I ultimately selected another contractor, it was a very hard choice. With that in mind, I want to leave this positive review for Adam. Adam responded to my contact promptly; he arranged to come out the same day to meet and evaluate what was needed; he arrived on time and as promised and spent the time to explain what was needed, discuss options, and stayed in communication during the evening to address questions that came up. Adam is clearly a very caring professional. I would highly recommend him, and I am looking forward to working with him in the future.

Just purchased a new home in Big Bear and within a month a small leak started in the bathroom sink. Also started getting error codes on our tankless water heater that is heavily used for our heated floors. Adam, is hands down; the most professional and punctual plumber in Big Bear. I don't have enough fingers on my hands to count the many times he has saved me. An not only saving the day, showing up immediately in force to tackle any (and many) of my plumbing problems. I couldn't make it up here without having a plumber so on top of it, and a plumber that actually is licensed and knows exactly what he is doing.

We had an emergency with the only bathroom in our cabin, and called Adam at about 7 am on a Sunday. He showed up an hour later and quickly fixed it. Excellent service, excellent work, excellent communication, and a cheerful attitude to boot. Hours and hours later other plumbers started returning the calls we left. I'm glad we went with Adam. I highly recommend using A R Joens Plumbing!

They caused me thousands of damages in water damage, refused to help. Do not use, if you did use them hire a real plumber to double check their work before you end up in my position

I have used Adam 3xs now for different issues he is a very honest & reliable plumber. As a single women I have to watch out for people trying to take advantage of me. Adam has never done this he prices are very reasonable and he doesn't up charge you
