After getting several competing quotes for a plumbing repair project (some via Yelp; some via referrals and calls), I hired Adam / AR Joens Plumbing to do the work.

While his estimate wasn't the lowest I received, it was definitely competitive, and I was impressed at how responsive he was when I asked questions (via Yelp) about the work, the price, and his availability.

Adam was also very quick to respond via text, which helped a lot when coordinating on the day the work was scheduled.

He also took lots of photos and a couple of videos during the work - both of the broken pipe that was the cause of the initial problem, and of the finished work after the repair, before he reburied the pipes.

Adam installed a water heater for us. He was very efficient, personable, and professional. The old WH was quite old, so the installation required some updating to come back to code compliance. Adam communicated the likelihood of this well, so we knew what to expect. I'm not sure his price is the cheapest in town, but I think it was very reasonable considering the conscientious and timely work that he did.

Had a water heater pilot light that went out and I was not able to relight it towards the end of winter... still freezing temps. Water heater appeared to be frozen and I assumed was done for. A few months later, I called Adam and he looked at it the next day. I was resigned to pay for a new unit. Well, much to my surprise, Adam was able to re-light the unit, saving me hundreds of dollars!!! Adam (A R Joens Plumbing) is a stand-up guy and is now my go to man for any plumbing needs! Very professional and HONEST!

Adam came to the rescue at 9pm on Saturday night (the evening before Mother's Day) to help us with a main line that was causing all sorts of issues. Super responsive, very informative about what was going on and what we were facing, and took his time to ensure the job got done. Ultimately, we need a larger repair to the main line than we hoped for but we are using AR Joens for the work as we were so impressed with Adam that first night he came to the house for our job.
