As a small business owner, reliability and being punctual is a rare but precious quality that we seek in vendors and technicians. Needless to say, this year was extremely difficult for small business owners. So when LA County finally allowed our operations to resume we had very short turnaround time. This is when we discovered that our Boiler wasn't functioning properly. I called multiple vendors and specialists, but decided to go with Jason from A O Dowd Plumbing because of the way he went about asking me what the issue and problems I was experiencing in trying to diagnose the situation over the phone. Most other competitors were more interested in making sure you know their rates and how this is considered overtime. As a business owner, I am as skeptical and jaded as they come unfortunately due to the numerous times of let downs, price gauging, and simply dealing with ""call centers"" than actual technicians. So I took a chance with Jason. Although he had other jobs prior to ours; he understood the urgency of our situation and sympathetic to the fact that we're just a small business barely trying to hang on while LA County wreck havoc with abrupt opening/closing policies. He scheduled our job for the early evening since he knew we needed our boiler to be fixed in order to get opened. He did a great job communicating when he was about to head over outside of LA County and the time frame to expect him. Upon arrival, he diagnosed the situation and presented the potential solutions along with the price quote. I highly recommend Jason because not only was he very professional but he was very transparent in how he was going to present potential solutions in tackling the problem. He did wonders in getting our very old but still solid boiler up and running in a couple hours. He definitely saved the day for us.

So I had a clog problem with my sink today and called into A O Dowd plumbing. They sent out Quinten and so happy he's the one who came by. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, polite, clean and solved my issue with the sink. Explained everything in detail as to what he was doing and provided useful information as far as upkeep on the drain. So happy I Called them. Would definitely recommend A O Dowd Plumbing and ask for Quinten. Amazing!

We had our water heater replaced a couple of months ago. The worker that completed the job was friendly and courteous. The only thing that kept me from giving a five star review was that the worker left and forgot to turn on the water heater and test it, although the final invoice stated that it was one of the services provided. Other than that, good service!

Very helpful and professional. I found them on the web, they have a good website that looked like could help me fix my boiler. After a lengthy phone conversation, Jason walked me though what he thought was just a dirty burner and how to clean it out. I cleaned it out and it's works great. I'm very appreciative that he took the time to guide me though the steps on how to do it myself. Very selfless! Highly recommend.

This is the worst plumbing company I ever did business with. After paying them close to 4,000.00 on a men's urinal sensor that ended up going bad, they wouldn't take our calls and kept sending us new employees cause the old ones quit, I guess they treat there employees the way they treat there customers. If you don't want to be treated like they really don't care about your business do not use them

I am so happy a friend referred me to A O Dowd Plumbing! Jason came out to repair my gas fireplace after I was unable to locate a technician to come service it. We are selling our house and escrow was due to close shortly. Jason was great at squeezing us in and fixing the problem, even though it is not part of his specialty. I had an emergency with my main line stopped up. I called AO Dowd plumbing. Hector was dispatched to my home in less than an hour and he immediately got on the problem. Hector was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He fixed my problem in no time.
