First thank you Jason for called me back and show interest in my needs of trying to fix my shower licking and though my call was I could said after hours on a Saturday (745pm) I am very grateful for everything. I was then immediately (801pm) contacted by Hector who was absolutely AWESOME and set up appointment for the following day early in the morning, he then again was so great came on the morning (9am) fixed my shower licking and also went the extra mile in to tight my shower head. I am just wonder why Yelp only have 5stars I totally feel they deserve 10 ********** plus.
Though I hope I dont have any more issues in my house I so definitely will contact them again if I need help I feel also YOU Yelp reader you should call them too, They are Awesome! Thanks Again A O Dowd Plumbing.

I called them Friday evening and made an appointment for a free estimate for Saturday morning. Hector showed up on time on Saturday. He was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He got to work and gave us an estimate. We decided to go with A O Dowd Plumbing because of fair pricing and also because of Hectors knowledge and politeness. They got the job done right and at a fair price. I'm definitely recommending them to my family and friends. Great job guys! I'm definitely a customer for life.

Can't say enough about Dowd Plumbing and it's owner Jason. One word comes to mind INTEGRITY. I had to fire my previous plumber because of work ethics I was referred to Dowd Plumbing. They came out the next day, got me a quote and performed installing a tankless water heater as promised even working until 8 pm to have completed for my final inspection for my elderly parents granny flat. It was no easy feat! Josh and his assistant were professional, polite and cleaned up. Highly highly recommend this company and I will use for my plumbing needs

We had asked several plumbers to figure out why our upstairs shower took so long to heat up. A O Dowd was the only plumber that provided us with a few different solution options at different price points. We ended up switching our 2 conventional water heaters for 2 tankless water heaters and a whole house water softener. We are very happy with the results. They were very thorough and detail oriented and worked long hours to make sure everything was working great before they finished. We only wish we would have found them sooner!

I contacted AO Dowd to service my tankless water heater. I received a quote from the owner quickly via the Yelp app and made my appointment through there as well. I was sent a text with an expected arrival time, and Aaron came as expected. He's got one of the best attitudes of anyone I've met in the service industry and he started right away with flushing my water heater. When he was done, there was no messes left, and the price was fair. Overall a great experience and will use them for my annual water heater maintenance.

Wow! What a pleasure to write a review for someone who is not only an excellent plumber, but also a genuinely good person. How do I know the content of his character? Here's how...
I thought my well's water filter housing cap must have cracked when I was changing out the filter. When I turned the water back on after changing it, major leaking, so Wednesday I called several different plumbers and most wouldn't service Lytle Creek or couldn't get up before Friday at the earliest. Jason was happy to help and I gave him (erroneously on my end) the wrong pipe diameter. He bought all the parts and came up Thursday (in the rain) to replace the entire filter set up, figured immediately he needed smaller piping and came back Friday with all the correct parts. Thing is, as he was on his way up, I discovered a gasket had fallen off the filter housing and was lying camouflaged on the ground. When I reinstalled that, the filter no longer leaked. Jason arrives and sees there is no need for replacement...even though he's out several hundred dollars plus two trips up. Does he get upset? Not a bit...he had every right to be disappointed or could have tried to encourage me to go with the new filter anyway (it is much better than the one on there currently). Nope, he just smiled and said if I ever decide to upgrade or needed any other work, he hoped I'd keep him in mind. Fortunately, I remembered there was a leaky valve in the laundry room that needed replacement. He had the parts with him to do that and was done in 5 minutes. Valve works great and Jason now has a future customer for as long as I'm in LC.

One other thing, he had a great recommendation for replacing my water pump (and eliminating the tank) to increase water pressure (for potential fire suppression on the property).
Seriously, if you want a competent, honest plumber give Jason a call, you could do far worse and I doubt any better.

Such a great experience with A O Dowd Plumbing!
My grandma needed a new ADA toilet for my handicapped grandpa. We called A O Dowd Plumbing and Jason came out and installed a great ""comfort height"" toilet and even installed a grab bar to assist my grandpa with sit and getting back up.
Jason treated my grandparents with respect and did not try to take advantage of them. Our whole family will depend on A O Dowd Plumbing for all our plumbing needs!

I first called another company but they said someone would call back to ""schedule an appointment"". No good, I had a leaking pipe outside and needed someone now. I then called AO Doud and Josh came that same day to fix my pipe and pressure regulator. A few days later I smelled gas and called again and this time Jason came out rigjt away to inspect and correct the problem. Both times I received professional and courteous service! As a homeowner, you know there is always something that comes up and Its good to know there is a company out there you can trust. Definitely will use them in the future.
