They were sent to me through my home warranty (Old Republic) as well to fix a slab leak. These guys where very shady they told me to fix other things where they would charge the insurance and they wanted me to pay him some cash under the table for doing it but when I refused, they started act really rude...the job they did was dirty, they were walking on my carpets with wet dirty shoes without covering them. They were very unprofessional...avoid them because it is just another headache

STAY AWAY FROM AJ BONO PLUMBING. This place is bad news. I recommend you stay away from these losers at all cost.
It took them 4 days to come out. They quoted a price of $125 to replace a bathtub faucet then after they drilled the body out, they claimed it was frozen in place and it would cost 4 times more. They said they would have to cut some tiles out of the wall to do the work and the tile work would be extra on top of that. I agreed to the increase (unhappily) because I know how these things go sometimes. The pipe work was completed and they said they would have the tile work done the next day. The tile guy didn't show up all day even with repeated calls and promises that he would come soon. The next day was Saturday and they called. I was not available and they said they would come Sunday at 9am. I waited all day for a second day of no show. This happened again on Tuesday. After that, I contacted the management AGAIN about this problem and they started saying that AJ Bono only does plumbing, not tile work (after they took my money!). They claimed that I would have to take this up with the individual plumber because it was not their job.
THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER I HAVE HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO COME IN CONTACT WITH. AWFUL DOES NOT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE THESE LOSERS.

Awful! They came out through my home warranty. They ""fixed"" two things - our garbage disposal and water heater. First time they fixed a leak with the disposal but failed to figure out it wasn't working. When they cambe back out to replace it, they had to come back and put in a second disposal since they did it wrong the first time and it didn't work. They put a valve in the hot water heater but it kept leaking(admittedly not their fault). They then took 4 days to come out for the revisit on the water heater, determined they couldn't fix it but the techs phone was dead so said they'd call the next day to set up the replacement. Four days later they finally called the warranty company who then determined it was under warranty and required me to call the manufacturer directly. When I called AJ Bono to complain of the delay, they hung up on me. Lovely. Happily my warranty company will flag a company so they will not be returning to our house.

I will say - the techs are all VERY nice guys - I just think they are inexperienced and probably underpaid and required to do way too many calls a day. The problem seems to be the home office from what I can tell.

I had a good 1st experience with this plumbing service. They were the plumber chosen by my home warranty company. I live in a 2 story condo and thought a pipe might be leaking under the bathtub, which is on the 2nd floor, since I'd found the dreaded bubble in the ceiling after taking a bath.

They were courteous and responsive on the phone; they arrived on time; and the friendly, helpful men who showed up quickly determined that the problem was probably caused by the overflow valve in my tub; they replaced it, and he was right! problem solved. I'd been prepared for them to have to go under my tub through the ceiling which would mean a huge mess, at the least.

AJ Bono Plumbing came to my house in Southern Marin as part of my home warranty service through Fidelity National. I was skeptical about them given that the reviews for Yelp were so awful, but against my own judgment, I decided to trust the Fidelity customer service rep who said that they're well reviewed.

So, they showed up within the 2 hour window, and I had some faucets and a tub stopper that needed repair. The man, Julio (nice guy) figured out the issue that there were some plastic adapter pieces that were broken and needed to be replaced. And he tells me that he needs to take the broken pieces with him to special order these parts and that he doesn't know how long it will take to arrive, which would leave me without a bathtub and a sink in our master bathroom. So, clearly, that's just not going to work AT ALL. He said the only way he could fix it is if he took the parts so I asked him to reinstall the broken parts and I'll work with someone else who is much more customer service and solution-oriented.

Like almost everyone else who's posted a review, I got an appointment with AJ Bono Plumbing because of my home warranty (American Home Shield). I called on Friday and was given a 10a-12p slot on Monday. Then they called that the evening to schedule the appointment because apparently they never wrote down the initial appointment.

My appointment was eventually set for 4-6 pm, and they show up at 7 pm without calling to say they'd be late. They took about 40 minutes to unclog my 2 drains, which included replacing the broken stopper in the sink.

The work got done, but the service is lacking.

Thank you Miguel and AJ Bono for replacing my water heater! I woke up one morning to find a steady stream of water coming out of the bottom of my 20 year old water heater. Within 1 bhour of calling the office I had an appointment for that afternoon. Miguel showed up and diverted the water stream into a tub for me and ordered a new water heater up for installation the following afternoon. He was here at the scheduled time and worked so hard to install the new unit. He taught us everything about it including maintenance and even installed a free pan and pipe at the bottom which would divert any leaks directly to the drain. I love love love this company! Thank you Miguel and AJ Bono.

As a local Real Estate broker, we are always looking for great vendors to take care of our clients. Sadly, they are hard to come by. Not only was AJ Bono there to expedite a necessary plumbing issue, they were so good with the customer as well. This makes for a happier client for us, AND the issues were resolved timely and with quality workmanship. I would certainly recommend them anytime.

wow. what service. the window of time was 12-2. ramon called at 12:00 and said he would arrive in 15. once here, he promptly got to work and left my shower cleaner than prior to his service. i have a dog that barks and he handled him in a calm, professional manner.
not only this, i was working on my computer and had a glitch. he took the time to fix it for me!
i will continue to use aj bono because of this wonderful employee, ramon.
also, juan came out on the initial visit and was equally professional.
