This company is the worst. They charge $75 just to walk through the door. I made two appointments with them and they didn't even show up. No apologies or any other customer service from them. Beware of them unless they are the last plumber on earth!

AJ Bono is not plumbers to call for any plumbing service. If it were not for the home warranty service contracts they have, there is no way this company would still be in business. I called my home warranty company and they contacted AJ Bono for my clogged drains. The first time the technician came out, they snaked the drain in the bathroom. The bathroom pipes seemed be okay, but then the kitchen pipes were clogged. So, another visit would be needed, since home warranty office was closed and he didn't know if they would cover the needed service. After a couple days, the bathroom pipes clogged up again. Another call placed to home warranty to get this fixed again. The plumber had to come out two more times over a week period. The technician indicated that since they came out again, my 30-day warranty has been cancelled. Also, I need to contact home warranty again because I might need new pipes. AKA, I don't want to or know how to fix the clogged pipes. After reading the Yelp comments, I realized this company has technicians that want to do bare minimum work and charge over the top prices. Before their third visit, I contacted another plumber, explained the issues and he could be out in an hour. As soon as AJ Bono came and left the third time, the other plumber cleared out the kitchen sink and explained what should have been done from the beginning. What a waste of time dealing with AJ Bono, if my home warranty hadn't chosen them, there no way I would use them, especially with all the negative comments from past service they have provided to others.

Hey, another 1 star rating for AJ OH NO Plumbing!!!
The tech came out August 15th for about 15 minutes and said he needed another tool to remove the drywall. Apparently my complaint that the pipe was leaking from BEHIND the wall was ambiguous, so he left and I rescheduled the appointment for the following week. They won't call you - you have to call them to reschedule.
So, he came out again on August 22d ... for 15 minutes and left because he couldn't finish the work on the hidden pipe or even start replacing the hose bib I had assigned to him thru (in)Fidelity Home Warranty. Apparently, it was going to take about 5 hours and he didn't schedule that amount of time, so he split. The warranty company doesn't cover access to the hose bib, just replacement and he said it would cost $75 to cut through the wall. Ok, whatever.
I called to reschedule the jobs once again for September 15th. I called him at 9am that day and he had to get add'l approval from his supervisor. I waited until 330pm and called to check in. Nope not coming that day either.
I just called (9/22) and asked if we were ever going to have someone come out?!
She hemmed and hawed as I grilled her about their incompetence and said cutting access to the hose bib was now $55 for 2 access holes. Now 2 at $55 when it was one at $75 last week?! You need 2 access holes for one bib? ""Yes, that's what the tech said"".
I finally said YOUR COMPANY SUCKS! Poor thing hung up on me; apparently the strain was too much to bear.

Stay away from this company... They were assigned to us by American Home Shield and came here on Wednesday to replace the hot water recirculating pump.

Two .so-called technicians arrived and agreed that it needed to be replaced but also said that we needed additional plumbing that would not be covered under our AHS agreement. When we asked for an explanation because it did not make any sense to us, we contacted a plumber friend and conferenced a phone call into their representative. When it was obvious that the recommendation they made was not a good one by their technician, the technician hung up on us.

That's when the fun began... They messed with us for six days and with American Home Shield and it's now Tuesday and we finally had to call back AHS and start all over again.

It's quite obvious their business model is to develop extra revenue by coming up with additional plumbing needs that would not be covered under our insurance policy. This was bad enough but the fact that they messed with us for these many days because we challenged their analysis is not acceptable....


We reported them to AHS and hopefully they will be taken off the list but if you are unfortunate to get assigned to them...beware!

A one star is too much for them...

So I waited 3 weeks for a part to be ordered. Today it is 3 weeks. I called to find out what is going on. And they tell me they are not GE certified so they can not even fix my hot water heater. Now my family is on our fourth week with no hot water. I would never recommend this company. Stay away at all cost. I should of checked Yelp before today.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!
I had a plumber come out to deal with a leaking toilet. He took a look at the job, confirmed the problem was with the toilet and then left. He wouldn't do the job. What does that even mean?
Do not use these people.

It's the worst Pluming company. I would give negative 5 to it if I could. This company still exist only because the home warranty companies give them business. Call your home warranty company to complain. They came to fixed my simple plumbing leaks problems, took over 2 months, 5 appointments, always late for hours, never say sorry, horrible service, and they don't care!

Made an appointment and they gave a window from 12 - 2.
I called to check if they were coming and they said the plumber was not answering their calls and probably was running late.
He arrived and when I asked why he was late his response was I called at 2 ( which he didn't) he called later than that.
At this time I had a client meeting so requested he help install a new garbage disposal. Due to the homeowner warranty it seems he can't replace it.
I learned that later when I called.
He left my apartment and left the door wide open. Didn't even had the curtesy to close it.

Worse service ever. Rude and late.
Do not call these people!

Talked to the homeowners warranty and they confirmed that I could have my disposal replaced!
Also had a good laugh at the request from the lovely phone lady to "" record when your disposal is not working""

As I said not professional, not truthful, bad attitude.
You been warned. Do not use these guys.

This company is HORRIBLE!!!
My home warranty company sent this horrible company to my residence because I had a problems with my garbage disposal.
The unprofessional plumber arrived at my residence 1.5 hours late. AJ Bono dispatch advised me that the plumber would arrive between 8am-12pm. The plumber arrived at my residence 130pm. The plumber was obviously backed up on his appointments because he just looked at my sink and said there is a screw in my disposal. He said that the screw wasn't covered in my warranty. I asked him to show me this screw and he refused. He called my warranty company and forgot the lie he told me about the screw. He told the warranty company that I had a spoon in my disposal.
Luckily my warranty company sent a second plumber to my residence the following week. The second plumbing company, ""Plumber By Trade"" arrived at my residence and fixed the disposal in less than 5 min. Apparently it was food that clogged up the disposal and all I had to do was let the disposal run for 5 min.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. IF I HAD THE ABILITY, I WOULD BLACK BALL THIS COMPANY. I hope I never see their business's vehicle at Travis AFB. If I do, I will definitely stop whatever I'm doing and warn my fellow Airman!
