The founder, Jim Van Tassel started the business, A Better Bath and Kitchen back in October of 1993 under the name Roscommens Contracting. From that point forward, he has focused on addressing the requirements of local homeowners in renovation and upkeep, including custom furniture creation and working as a certified CREIA Home Inspector. During May 2011, the business name was changed to A Better Bath and Kitchen, with an emphasis on bath and kitchen remodeling, along with a customer-friendly showroom to assist with customer selection needs. In addition, we provide repair services for homes.

Michele N.A Better Bath and Kitchen did a wonderful job for us. I had them put in Pergo and tile floors, as well as replace siding on the outside of my two-story house. All was done timely and as quoted. My stairs had to be custom cut do their shape and they turned out beautiful. I further referred them to my mother-in-law and sister-in-law who both had their bathrooms remodeled and all love them! I would definitely recommend them if you want it done right!
