The founder, Jim Van Tassel started his company, A Better Bath and Kitchen during the fall of 1993 under the name Roscommens Contracting. From that point forward, he has been fulfilling the needs of homeowners for home improvement and upkeep, along with furniture building and serving a certified CREIA Home Inspector. During May 2011, the business name underwent a change to A Better Bath and Kitchen, with an emphasis on kitchen and bath renovations, while also providing a dedicated showroom to assist with customers' selection processes. Moreover, we also handle home repairs.

Michele N.A Better Bath and Kitchen did a wonderful job for us. I had them put in Pergo and tile floors, as well as replace siding on the outside of my two-story house. All was done timely and as quoted. My stairs had to be custom cut do their shape and they turned out beautiful. I further referred them to my mother-in-law and sister-in-law who both had their bathrooms remodeled and all love them! I would definitely recommend them if you want it done right!
