The founder, Jim Van Tassel established the business, A Better Bath and Kitchen during October of 1993 under the name Roscommens Contracting. From that point forward, he has focused on meeting homeowners' needs related to home improvement and repair, as well as furniture design and working as a certified CREIA Home Inspector. In May of 2011, the company name was changed to A Better Bath and Kitchen, focusing on remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, and a dedicated showroom to assist with customers' selection processes. Moreover, we offer repair services for homes.

Michele N.A Better Bath and Kitchen did a wonderful job for us. I had them put in Pergo and tile floors, as well as replace siding on the outside of my two-story house. All was done timely and as quoted. My stairs had to be custom cut do their shape and they turned out beautiful. I further referred them to my mother-in-law and sister-in-law who both had their bathrooms remodeled and all love them! I would definitely recommend them if you want it done right!
