Owner Jim Van Tassel started the business, A Better Bath and Kitchen in the fall of 1993 using the name Roscommens Contracting. Since then, he has been addressing homeowners' needs for remodeling and repair, along with custom furniture creation and serving a CREIA Home Inspector. In May 2011, the company name changed to A Better Bath and Kitchen, with an emphasis on remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, along with a customer-friendly showroom to assist with customer selection needs. Additionally, we also handle home repairs.

Michele N.A Better Bath and Kitchen did a wonderful job for us. I had them put in Pergo and tile floors, as well as replace siding on the outside of my two-story house. All was done timely and as quoted. My stairs had to be custom cut do their shape and they turned out beautiful. I further referred them to my mother-in-law and sister-in-law who both had their bathrooms remodeled and all love them! I would definitely recommend them if you want it done right!
