I'm sad ti sat this place is close I don't know if they relocated but I used to work here 20 years ago and when I was here all my co-workers were great I remember Joan use to be the older employe here she was great. And all the plumbers were awesome. Wish them all well wherever they go!!

Awful service ! They never come When they say, or if at all. They overcharge and awful customer service. I wonder why they're still practicing their service. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Called A&B despite their poor reviews to take a look at a clogged pipe. They couldn't fix the issue and on top of that damaged our tiles. We now have lots of large scratches thanks to them not being careful when taking off the toilet and using a large snake to go into the pipe. I called a few minutes after they left and send them pictures of the fresh scratches. The supervisor who called me back wasn't friendly at all. He made up lots of excuses why the damages weren't caused by them although he wasn't there and admitted that he had not talked to his guys yet. I offered him to come out to see for himself that these scratches are brand new and that I was not trying to blame them for a previous damage. The next day a lady called to tell me someone is coming in 20min. No one showed. Called after 45 min to ask. I was told it would take another 15 min. I told her that I had to pick up my kids and would not be home then but that I am available shortly after. I was told he couldn't come then. Waited 3 days now. No one called. No one tried to reschedule or showed. We will take care of it ourselves now. But be aware - very very unprofessional. I would not call them again nor would I recommend calling them if you have a problem.

Horrible. I called A&B despite all the bad reviews and got scammed too. They keep charging my credit card without authorization. Instead of fixing the plumbing issue, they made it worse. Now I am out hundreds of dollars and will have to take it up with the bank and the BBB plus hire and pay a different plumber. Stay far away!

I'm a little torn, part of me wants to go higher and part of me wants to go lower. Are the prices excessive, probably .... but, as an option do you want to drive across the canyon to an alternative (big box store)? Unless you have a specific reason to be going cross canyon already, these guys are super convenient and probably will have something that will resolve the issue you are having...might have to put a couple parts together, but a fix is a fix especially if you are on a time crunch. The staff have always been friendly to me.

Parking, not the greatest, but unless you are at one of the shopping centers that is an issue throughout Malibu. Be cautious, it is right on PCH and traffic is going by pretty fast, so you got to get on it when you are pulling out.

I'd recommend trying these guys out ... like I said, you may pay a few bucks more, but your time is worth something too!

First charged $170 to ""fix"" the spray head but it broke after 2 weeks

Came back and charged $515 to put a new faucet

Disputing charges with the bank, they are scamming people, did not give me a full estimate before installing it.

These guys are a joke. Hire at your own risk. I live up the street from them and had a main line break under a neighbors driveway.
1. They fixed it with copper pipe. But left some protruding above ground for cars or people to break it instead of burying it.
2. when they turned the water on it was at 150 psi and they didnt check what it was at and left saying job was finished. It was on there for about a day before it created leaks inside and ruined sprinklers in back. I called them back and they were unapologetic. Said they could replace the valves inside the home and gave me a quote. Fine.
3. While doing the work, they turned water on second floor in an open pipe and flooded downstairs. Plumber said it was fine and would dry. I didnt agree and had to call manager to get them to put dryers down.
4. They came back out and week later after drying and finsihed replacing half the valves and then said they miscounted since there is a hot and cold valve and they would need to get me a new quote for the other half. When they did, only after several days of pestering them, they didnt have toilet valves in stock and they were to charge me twice as much. Which means all in, it would be 3x what they originally quoted me for replacing old valves that they blew up. They tried to do the Ill go back to manager and get a better price for you thing. I said no thank you.
5. A week later after they finished the half job I see one leaking. At that time I count the valves they replaced and they did one less than I paid for. It doesn't end with these guys! I also asked for all quarter turn valves and found a couple were full turn valves.

I finally said enough of you clowns. Ill just hire someone else to finish the job.

These guys are smarmy and bad people running a shady business. I know it is hard to get plumber to come out to malibu, but just don't do business with these guys. You will probably regret it.

DO NOT USE THESE DISHONEST CON ARTISTS

My grandmother called these people out to simply snake a clogged toilet. They charged her $180 to come out to the property just to diagnose the problem. They told her the toilet could not be snaked that she needed a new toilet. They had one in the truck and quoted her $700 including labor. She said no thank you and they still kept the $180 and refused to even attempt to snake the toilet. I came over and LITERALLY FIXED THE TOILET WITH A PLUNGER.

Reason you can always get them to send someone out is because nobody uses them a second time. Expensive, incompetent and if you have an issue with them forget about it. They seem to have a problem understanding basic English and how reputable companies treat their customers concerns.
