poor service. At first they forgot to showup for the initial appointment . Its been 3 weeks after their inspection and they can;t find any records of their work...
Disorganized, not trust worthy..STAY WAY from them.

The only reason I gave one star is because you cant give 0 stars, the most rude and actually the worst custumer service I have ever experienced. Stay clear from this place at all costs, I live in malibu and would drive to Santa Monica or pay twice as much at Malibu Lumber rather than return there. and I'm a block away. Rude A**wholes..................

I don't know why everyone's ragging on this place...so far, big fan right here.

I manage my boss' house up in Malibu which is a little older so a lot of work needs to be done. Today, it was the water valves to go into the washing machine. My boss really wanted it done that day so I was all like, ""Alright we can TRY"". Expecting this to take a couple days, I called A&B and they sent someone over in 45 min. I finished a whole episode of Gossip Girl and then they were there. It was beautiful.

He did a great job -- he was very friendly! Pricing was totally fair (I guess? I mean I'm 24 so I'm not that knowledgable in the world of plumbing but it seemed fair?) and I would call this company again.

These guys really know what they are doing! They came out quickly after my call and they were able to fix my problem affordably. I found their service to be very good and their plumber to be friendly and knowledgeable.

While these guys are not cheap, I had a pleasant experience with the plumber. I felt confident in his work and asked him back to complete some other work. He seemed thoughtful and gave me options that made sense. The work was done over a year ago and I have zero problems with any of his work. I wish I could remember his name but I do remember he is one of 3 brothers that work at A&B.

I have not tried their electrical work, but I did have them do several plumbing jobs in my townhouse.

Horrible!! Very rude and incompetent. When I asked for help, they just vaguely pointed in the direction. After asking several times, they took 10 minutes to send another idiot lackey over who had no idea what he was talking about.

When I went to the front counter, they were not helpful and the owner mocked me.

We hired A & B Pluming in Malibu to do some simple electric job. After screwing around for WEEKS, showing up with the wrong materials over and over again, I said forget it, you guys are incompetent, we don't want you to do this job.
At that point the manager, Lupe Valdivia, INSULTED MY WIFE! On the phone, repeatedly. I was BLOWN AWAY. But what could I do? So I cancelled our credit card payment for the estimate cost.

And now.... he is SUING US! For $275 !!! (the estimate was $85, so wtf?)
I have to take a day off of work to deal with this - he is a loathsome creep just trying to be a PITA, and succeeding.

Needless to say, don't use that company unless you are OUT OF YOUR MIND. Wish I'd read the other reviews before hiring him.

We had two very bad experiences. There won't be a third time. They are unprofessional providers of the worst service possible. These are our observations:
1. They do not keep to their word. They lie.
2. They promise to come at 10am, by 4.30pm, no one appears. No use calling them, they stop receiving phonecalls at 4.30pm.
3. The owner personally promises good service, but asks for a credit card. His workers did not install an electrical component properly. When asked to return to repair, they charge the card.
4. After agreeing to not charge for breaking our electrical piece, they send an invoice.
We hope they go out of business.

New experience 8/7/14: These guys have now proven to be disorganized and incompetent. They were hired 3 weeks ago to replace a discolored toilet seat and when they arrived to install it, they broke one of the screw supports because they didn't have the proper tools to do the job. So they left and now the toilet seat is unusable. Being a vacation home, we left and didn't think about it until we returned and realized we never heard back from the company. No messages, nothing. So we called back and rescheduled another appointment which was set for 10am. They didn't show up until 1pm because ""they had other calls."" When they did show up they came with the wrong toilet seat and told us that it couldn't be installed because the bolts are stuck and the toilet has to be completely replaced. This will be the last time we use them. I would have just kept the discolored seat if I knew what would happen.

I called Monday morning and told them I had a problem. I asked them for a time and they said call when you get back to the house, so I do. The dispatcher confirms sunshine is being page. Two hours later I'm told someone is coming. 4 hours later I call back to a machine that does not take messages. Never, ever, ever call this company. Thank you for leaving my only bathroom broken. Much appreciated. Hope you go out of business soon.
