Be careful, as this company is not honest! I picked and called this air conditioner repair company early this week by looking at the yellow book. After I explained the problem of my air conditioner, the lady who received the call friendly told me the cost for each on-site visit is $59.95 and the outcome of the visit is to troubleshoot the root cause of malfunction outdoor unit and let me to choose either fixing it by myself or ask the technician to work on it. A young man who named Trevor showed up took several minutes look around the AC and told me ""the wiring system needs to be serviced since there is a power wiring issue"" in my AC system. He took out a pretty booklet on which quite a few options are listed, from ""premier"" to ""quick fix"", with list charges ranging from $1009 to $335. I asked him what is the exact problem by ""power wiring issue"". He said further checking needs me to select one of the options and sign up on the contract. I told him the reception desk told me the visit charge includes diagnosing exact failure of the unit and ""power wiring issue"" is not what I want to hear, since it is not a detailed description of the failure. He said he does not know at the moment and further check up needs to be done only after I choose from the options and sign the contract. After I chosen lowest cost option ""quick fix"" and signed on the contract, the young man briefly looked the furnace control board and tighten few screws on the board with screw driver. The AC is back to work. Failing to persuading me to pay $1000 plus dollars for tightening a few screws, Trevor turned to convince me to fill up coolant for $225. I turned him down since I lost the trust to him.

I am a technical worker and I am respectful to people who have skills and willing to pay for the services as provided. What I do not quite agree is the discrepancy what the call center said and what the field technician did. Trevor is good in what he is doing in AC repair. But he misses the most important value a successful business needs, the honesty. Why it is so hard for some business people to be honest to customers he/she is serving? Honesty is the most valuable asset and customers are willing to pay for the honesty showing by you business attitude. I am looking for a long term AC maintenance partner to take care of my rental property. AAVCO is not a choice.

I called about my plumbing and heating last Thursday and set up and appointment for the following Saturday from 8-9am for a checkup and possibly repair. I waited around until 12 and made several attempts to call with no answer. Still now, I have called since and left messages and no one has returned my call. Will never be using them again! At least give me a heads up that you aren't coming so I'm not waiting around for hours!

Just got some plumbing issues resolved. Josh Broh came out, good guy, very friendly and polite. Was able to fix the screw up that some other plumbing company did to my shower. Also had a clogged sink that my landlord took over 2 weeks to finally get someone to look at. Josh did a good job tho. Even cleaned up after himself, was very professional. Double checked all his work. No complaints.

Fred is a really nice guy. Good to see a local place that can help you out and get you the service you need quickly. I had a leak in my water heater and they came out and fixed it within the hour! I highly recommend this Company.

I note there are several negative reviews, however, I have been an AAVCO customer for many years and have always been very satisfied with their service. The technicians arrive on time, or if delayed, call to let me know, and Brett, the office manager, bends over backwards to accommodate any emergencies. This past week my heater quit in the middle of the night. It is very, very cold at night in Phelan, in the 20's, and I need my heater. I called the office in the morning and their service technician, Trevor, came that day, diagnosed the problem, and ordered the necessary part, came back the next day and fixed the problem. The heater is working perfectly and I am one happy AAVCO customer!

Well let me start by saying this company is very good and reliable, The work is grade A and the service is great, We just had a young gentleman by the name of Josh come and fix two bathrooms in record time didn't complain about the overtime he was doing and did a highly professional job I recommend this company for your plumbing needs and Thank you Josh for great work and excellent service...

AAVCO came in and promised me ""substantial cooling"" in my ""mostly windows"" house. They upsold me on a 16 SEER system, handed me a pamphlet showing me all the features of the Goodman 16 SEER. I liked the sales guy, so I did a handshake agreement-with very little details written in the contract-you'd think I would know better.

Anyway they installed a cheaper system than the one I was sold on. We caught them, and they installed the correct system. But the house was not cooling. Then they start saying ""oh your ducts are sub-par, and that's why the house wasn't cooling."" So for additional money I pay for new ducting. Later, they say the windows are the problem. ""You mean the same windows that were here when you told me how cool my house was going to be-at the beginning?""

Further, the sales guy tells me it impossible to certify the SEER rating.

House still isn't cooling. After new unit and ducting. They rig the AC unit to run, but pull out the mainboard...or something like that... to keep it running. House still isn't cooling. The trust is gone and I am skeptical due to the previous ""bait and switch"" so...

I switch providers, and go to Steve's Air Conditioning. They show me that AAVCO had our 5 ton unit running at 3 ton capacity. The pump was impeded, and the airflow was bottlenecked at the air intake/filter and a new thermostat was necessary. They replaced the mainboard, and thermostat. Put in a filter system, and fixed the ducting. House is cooling great.

There are some places that take no pride and pleasure in doing a good job, and making clients happy, AAVCO is one of them. For a very similar price, Steve's AC came out and did a super quality job.

I used AAVCO Plumbing Heating & Air yesterday evening. Very happy with their service.

The company sent 2 plumbers to my house to address two plumbing issues I had in two separate bathrooms. They were very prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. They immediately addressed the issues and resolved both problems within an hour. The parts they needed, they had in their van and the service came with a warranty.

I definitely recommend them to anyone!

I am shocked by the previous reviews and am happy to write a raving review. We have our water heaters checked by AAVCO each year at the same time and they come if we donate 5 cans of food to their company for families in need.

They flushed out our water heater and we asked the technician to fix our garbage disposal/ sink. He fixed both problems, cleaned up after himself and was HIGHLY professional. I have 2 kids and felt comfortable with him in our home.

When our water heaters do go out, I won't hesitate to call them for service.
