I had a 7 years old GE water heater. On Friday morning I found out that there was no hot water coming up. I called the company and a technician came to exam the heater. He told me that I need to replace it with a new one. I was very naive about the market price regarding the installation of a water heater and trusted them about the price that they provided. They charged me $1650 for installing a Rheem 40 Gallon PROG40-38N-RH62 gas water heater. After they finished the work, I went online and found out the product price is about just $435 and most company will charge around $1000 for whole installation project (including a water heater, delivery, install, and haul away the old one). The installation work was only 1 person for about 2 hours. The price was really too high beyond the market price even the work was done on Saturday. If I did the quote with other companies before I signed the contract with them, I would not work with them on this unreasonable price.

When our furnace caught fire in January, A Absolute quickly and professionally gave us an estimate and installed a new hybrid heating and cooling system in our home. The tech who installed it Danny was awesome. The only thing left to do was for them to come back when the weather got warmer and put the free-on in the system for the AC AND we had to pay our township for the permit and inspection.

Since the first week in May (as of today, it's been a month plus a week), we have been waiting for Absolute to come and finish this work.

First, they sent a tech who had no clue how to work on a hybrid system. Then, they sent another tech who got our AC to work but found an issue with the wiring such that now we have AC but no heat when previously we had heat but no AC. It seems that the ONLY tech on staff who knows how to fix our system is Danny!!!

Since that realization two weeks into trying to get our system to be fully operational back in May (it's now mid June), we have repeatedly had them schedule cancel our service appointments OR do a ""no call, no show"" literally 2 - 3 times a week for the last 5 weeks.

Once when I called to express concern about how we've been treated the male customer service rep hung up on me -- after pushing back our appointment for what then was the 4th time. We're now up to #9.

On Friday, our unit failed its plumbing inspection because of a missing valve. We have one week to get it fixed before the re inspection. Yesterday, Absolute once again promised the tech would be at our home by 8 am. By, 5 pm, it was another no call, no show. Fortunately, we had previously scheduled to have Danny come out to work on the unit to address our initial issue (prior to having the inspection done). So we were sure someone would come today to fix both issues.

Incredibly, just this morning, their dispatcher called at 8 am saying Danny was on his way to the house. At 10 am I called for an update since it's been a challenge to have someone there every time they've promised they would send someone at which time they ONCE AGAIN PUSHED OUR APPOINTMENT BACK to Friday.

Others have said how horrible their customer service is. For us, they were awesome when it came time to do the initial installation and take our money. However, since then, it's been infuriating and frustrating to be repeatedly be pushed off, ignored, dismissed and left in the lurch when we are owed these two ALREADY PAID FOR services that were included in our installation costs (the fixing of the improperly installed gas line AND the fixing of the electrical issue preventing our system from providing us heat and AC like its supposed to).

I hope this helps others in some small way. If we ever get our system properly fixed by them, I'm happy to update this review and say so accordingly.

If anyone out there has ANY ideas for how to get them to come and provide the services that we are owed, please chime in. Thank you!

Holy cow waited extra 2hrs.when service guy showed up 7pm he didn't even look at unit. Said yup its your blower motor $1550.00 I asked him if he was kidding. This company I had used for preinspection on a home I was about to close on. Well there inspection came up everything is fine and in good shape and sold me a service contract which I paid $159.00 for. Guess what its not worth the paper its written on so the tech tells me. 4days after I close I call for service and this is the results. Total Freud didn't even hook up any gauges or meters. This is what you get at the end of the day when no one wants to work. I was told from original tech that if you call up ask for him (JUSTIN) and he will come out charge system for free because its low on Freon. My point is if they did there job properly I could have negotiated the repair bill in my closing. I do realize mechanical things do go but I had mentioned noise was load coming from unit. This is why I opted for service contract.

This company had issues all over. First, the plumber we booked through this company arrived 2 hours late after repeated calls to this company asking where the plumber was. The plumber was nice and his work looked decent but when he left, the drain of the sink sprung a leak where the sink meets the drain pipe. It seems that when repairing my sink drain, the plumber broke the sink seal around the drain. I overpaid for this service because I needed it done quick but the work was not good and caused a different problem. In trying to contact this company trying to get a plumber back into my house regarding their ""guaranteed"" work, I had to wait another 2 hours for a plumber to arrive. I would not recommend this company and even though I feel the plumber was good intentioned, the quality of the work and the poor customer service when calling the company made choosing this company a horrible experience.

The absolute worst company and customer service I have ever hired. I called yesterday morning for a night appointment to fix a leaking kitchen sink. They were supposed to come at 5:30, no one shows. I called the company asking where they are. Said they need more time at the previous job and will show up at 6:45. No show again. I called back asking them where the plumber was and why I was not informed TWICE of my service being delayed. Received a very unprofessional response from the man who picked up the phone. Finally they sent another guy out who came a 8:00, 2.5 hours AFTER my original appointment time. Quoted me $550 to fix sink and replace all pipes. This morning the sink was leaking AGAIN. Called plumber and said someone will be out again tonight. I have my doubts that they will be on-time. I plan to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau if they do not arrive tonight on-time and fix the issue.

ABSOLUTE WORST!!! Front office guys Josh and Robert are extreeeeeeeeemely rude and unhelpful!!! Josh called an hour after my appointment time to say the guy was was on his way. Couldn't care less that I was being inconvenienced. He then called with the same nasty lazy attitude 2hrs after the appointment time to say they weren't going to make it and ask for a reschedule. Life happens but it's difficult to handle that when a person in customer service chooses to be disgusting and rude. No pride in his job. No honor/respect for the company. He then passed me off to Robert who was equally as rude. If anyone ever asks me to recommend an AC company. My only advice will be to not choose A Absolute.

Took complete advantage of my situation! While having the sewer pipe leading into the house resealed it was found that I had a crack in my sewer line. Of course it was a Saturday and I was home with my 3 kids. Absolute came out as asked in about an hour. After assessing the situation and clearly seeing my duress they said they could be out first thing Monday morning and it would cost me $3500! I accepted putting my faith in their price. Stupid me. The next quote came in at $600. Think twice about these guys. At least they came as asked and fixed the problem (as far as I can tell). Buyer beware...

These guys are absolute worst. All they are after is money. I had a frozen pipe issue and they sent a technician who was rude and downright unprofessional. He evaluated the problem and told me that the pipes frozen are in the garage. He gave me $675 estimate to fix it. I asked him what is he going to do to fix it and he said, ""Sir, I can't say that but I am professional and you have to trust me"". He in turn asked me if I am going to hire him for the job. I told him give me 5 minutes to think. I asked him since the pipes are exposed in the garage, would a space heater help to unfreeze the pipe. He said, ""I cannot say that, are you going to hire me?"". I had just bought the home so I pointed to a water main valve and asked him, ""Can you please confirm if this is the water main valve just for my knowledge so that if the pipe bursts, I can at least prevent my home from flooding?"" To that he said, I cannot say that, you will have to pay me $125 for that. Yes, seriously! I showed him the door, got another guy and he did the job in $140. These guys are the worst people I have come across. Stay away from them because all they care about is to get into your pocket.

We have used A Absolute for many years, from installing our New furnace, humidifier and hot water heater to service for the above. This week we found a leak in our garage. Another plumber told us that the leak was under our cement slab of our house. They said we had to dig up our driveway, garage and back hallway in order to find and repair the leak. It would have cost over $20,000. We called Absolute for a second opinion. The plumber named Matt who came from Absolute was sure that the leak was NOT under the slab. He was determined to find the source of the leak. It took him a few hours, but he found it!! It was the condensate pump on the furnace humidifier. An easy fix! They just had to replace the pump!! Thank you Matt for your determination, professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend A Absolute for all your plumbing, and HVAC needs!!
