I am Raymond Gray, and plumbing runs in my family for generations. Both my great-grandfather and grandfather were pipe fitters, dedicating years to military ship projects. My grandfather joined the Union after serving in the Navy during the 1960s. He eventually moved into residential and commercial service and repair.
My father, born in 1961, learned plumbing from my grandfather during his childhood. I came into the world in 1977 and remember, at eight years old, crawling beneath homes, playing in the dirt, and observing my dad perform repairs. I started tackling repairs when I was about twelve years old. Though I initially disliked plumbing, growing up in a low-income family pushed me to learn a trade.
I dropped out of high school, earned my GED, and left home. In 2001, I began working with my dad again. In 2004, I established A-1 Total Service Plumbing and have continued forward ever since. I work with my dad every day. I demand excellence from my plumbers so I can provide top-quality service to my clients.
Plumbing has been a part of my family for as long as I can remember. With more than 30 years in plumbing, I have 20 years of expertise in specialty underground trenchless, CIPP, and pipe coating. I manage sewer, water, gas, air ducting, culverts, and additional plumbing services.

The representative who took my call, was understanding and patient with me- she was even able to secure a person to come out same day even though my issue was not an emergency.
Jackie, was the service agent who came out- and he was amazing too!! He was nice, professional and explained the entire plumbing issue with me. He went above and beyond - and I was so grateful for all his help. He was able to figure out the issue and solve it quickly.
I was really impressed with the entire experience ; the quality, value, professionalism is really top notch. Calling a plumber can be terrifying, but they really put my fears at ease.
I hope I don't need a plumber again, but if I did, I would trust them for any job.
