In 1968, a young married couple, Richard (Dick) Peterson and Donna, who were raised as orphans, founded our company. They began their journey with sheer determination and collaboration. Dick, a Navy veteran, rose to become a Master Plumber, and Donna was among the first women to enter the plumbing trade in Texas. They managed to do this while raising their family and volunteering with organizations like the Boy and Girl Scouts, PTA, and other local charities. Their work ethic was relentless, with seven-day work weeks and no time for vacations. Despite facing multiple economic challenges in the U.S. and enduring three significant hurricanes that devastated much of their hard work, A-1 Peterson Plumbing has thrived for 54 years! Mr. Peterson passed away following Hurricane Rita in 2006, yet his legacy continues through his wife and their sons, William ""Bill"" and Richard II, as well as their daughter Donna.
