Our business was established in 1968 by a young couple, Richard (Dick) Peterson and his wife Donna, who both grew up as orphans. They began their journey with sheer determination and collaboration. Dick, a Navy veteran, rose to become a Master Plumber, and Donna was among the first women to enter the plumbing trade in Texas. They accomplished all this while nurturing a family and actively participating in Boy and Girl Scouts, PTA, and various community and charitable groups. Their commitment meant working every day of the week, leaving no room for vacations. A-1 Peterson Plumbing has persevered for 54 years, overcoming several economic crises and three major hurricanes that threatened their achievements. Though Mr. Peterson left us after Hurricane Rita in 2006, his legacy endures through his wife and their children, William ""Bill,"" Richard II, and Donna.
