Founded in 1968, our company was started by Richard (Dick) Peterson and his wife Donna, both of whom were orphans. They launched their venture with nothing but their dedication and teamwork. Dick, a Navy veteran, rose to become a Master Plumber, and Donna was among the first women to enter the plumbing trade in Texas. They accomplished all this while nurturing a family and actively participating in Boy and Girl Scouts, PTA, and various community and charitable groups. They worked tirelessly, often seven days a week, with little to no time for vacations. Despite several economic downturns and three major hurricanes that wreaked havoc on their progress, A-1 Peterson Plumbing has celebrated 54 years of success! Mr. Peterson passed away following Hurricane Rita in 2006, yet his legacy continues through his wife and their sons, William ""Bill"" and Richard II, as well as their daughter Donna.
