In 1968, a young married couple, Richard (Dick) Peterson and Donna, who were raised as orphans, founded our company. Their startup was fueled solely by their commitment and partnership. As a Navy veteran, Dick became a Master Plumber, and Donna broke barriers as one of Texas' first female plumbers. While raising their children, they also dedicated time to community service through the Boy and Girl Scouts, PTA, and other charitable organizations. Their commitment meant working every day of the week, leaving no room for vacations. Despite several economic downturns and three major hurricanes that wreaked havoc on their progress, A-1 Peterson Plumbing has celebrated 54 years of success! Sadly, Mr. Peterson passed away after Hurricane Rita in 2006, but his legacy lives on through his wife and their two sons, William ""Bill"" and Richard II, along with their daughter Donna.
