We had them to repair a pipe. But instead they made it worse and charged full amount over $300. They promised to credit 2 hours on the next visit but their management didn't honor it and mailed us totally different invoice. We had to hire a different company to fix our pipe. I would not recommend them to anyone. There are plenty other companies around who provide much better service.

I called this morning (July 26, 20210), and whoever answered the phone said they were fully booked today. I asked about tomorrow and she said they were fully booked too. I would never use A-1 Budget Plumbing again. Steves Plumbing would come today. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Great service! We've had A-1 Budget work on my parents house 3 times In the past two years for different plumbing issues. They have always come within their window time, have been very courteous. Efficient, and professional. Rates have been fair. Today Ryan workedin changing out a faucet that was 40 years old plus updating the pipes below and drain - so happy we have a new faucet now! Thank you A-1 team!

We needed to have A-1 come back because there was some corrosion on the connection with the copper line and water heater (installed by them in 2016). I was a bit disappointed and concerned that it was happening in just under 5 years from installation. Sharon took my call. She was really polite and professional. Bob came on time and was patient with my folks (their apartment). He finished the job within an hour and said it was warrantied. Sharon even followed-up with me after to let me know. Though I was disappointed with the issue, they took care of it in a professional and courteous fashion.

I do not recommend this company at all. I read the bad reviews but figured that comes with the territory with most companies but thought if I covered all my bases by emailing pics, videos of the problem then there shouldn't be an issue. It's a small toilet leak so how hard can it be?!?! CONS 1. Not once will they tell you the clock starts ticking when their service van heads out of the company lot. What if there's traffic?? Why not let the customer know beforehand? Yesss you are paying the service guy to drive to your property! They don't tell you this until you question why 20 minutes was added to your bill! 2. The service guy ""forgets"" a tool so he leaves for 45 minutes. You pay for this!! How can he forget a tool when I've sent pics and videos of what's wrong? It's a five year old condo and toilet! 3. You pay up until service guy drives OFF the property! If he's cleaning his tools or on the phone- you are SOL. They don't tell you this until you question why 30 minutes was added to bill! They have a GPS and monitor when he drives off so that's how they justify this. 4. When you question the bill, be prepared to deal with a very condescending, patronizing manager that knows nothing about customer service. Laughs at you the whole time and keeps asking you why you're upset. Maybe bc I don't like dealing with bs such as this! PROS 1. Repair guy was professional and on time. 2. Leak was repaired Overall, my tenant said service guy was only there for 50 minutes yet this company had the audacity to charge me for 20, 45 and 30 minutes! That's total of 95 minutes!! Now does that sound fair? Oh and the kicker was when the manager accused my tenant of lying about the 50 minutes! Luckily the onsite property manager was there too!

So the first plumber came to ""fix"" my washer and ended up breaking something off instead and said I still had to pay. He had bad manners and didn't seem to care that he didn't fix the issue at all yet I had to pay. The second guy came and I politely told him about the issue and then he insulted me and said, ""Do you know what the word ""level"" is?"" I should have kicked him out right there. I thought the visit would be close to free because they didn't fix the issue but instead they charged me $300! I called the company later to get some credits which they only gave me like $40 in credits but still most companies would have a warranty for the issue that they didn't fix. I only called these guys because my building recommended them but NEVER AGAIN. My advice: STAY AWAY. My impression is that this company is full of rude and unprofessional ""tough guys"" with no manners. There are better plumbers out there who charge less and have better manners.

I called several plumbers on a Sunday when everything started to backup. Because it was a Sunday they wanted to charge me an unbelievable charge just to drive to my house. Then the hourly was outrage. NOT A-1. They came. Flat rate. Plumber was nice and friendly and very efficient!! He fixed all the problems and was on his way!! I then told my sister about what happened and she called A -1 and gave them biz too!! Took precautions so what I experienced wouldn't happen to her. All those other companies lost a lot of money. I'll keep referring A-1.

I had a leaking pipe in my master bathroom bathtub. The plumber had a bad attitude problem and constantly sweared the f word ""fuck"" through out our conversation. He said he had another job and I kindly told him if you need to be some where else we can schedule another day. He said the f word again. He hurt my feelings! Complaining and complaining! What I am here already.

A-1 is my go to plumber for any job in my home or rental unit. Their rate is better than any others. Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Give them a try and they'll probably be your go-to too.
