Very good service. The plumber called earlier than expected and I was out for lunch. He went to the next customer and then called later to check if I was home. He finished the job professionally and quickly. I had to replace the garbage disposal that is leaking and also fix a leaky pipe on the left side of the sink. All is done under an hour. Price is reasonable considering Friday was a holiday, Veterans Day is Saturday. It is the same rate as weekdays.

Needed new garbage disposal and dishwasher hooked up. Needed repairs to solar water tank. Tommy was the mechanic. Truly a professional. Explained the processes and identified areas of concern. Items that had been neglected he explained what needed to be done. Did it cost money, yes , but the work performed will save me money in the long run on corroded pipes and valves. If I ever need a plumber again , I'll call A-1 and request Tommy

This was our second time using A-1, and if we weren't leaving island, they would be our go-to plumber!! Both times, they have shown up on time, usually within the first hour of the two hour window they give. They work quickly and efficiently, and are friendly too! It also helps that their rates are one of the best I have found on island. The job they completed for me today was more than half off the lowest quote I was given from other plumbers. Give 'em a call!

Shitty service. Socks slippers. And no warranty. Never will call again. Had a CLOG KITCHEN DRAIN . I get charged $95.00 to come out then they say got to get parts another $95.00. Then they hit u with the ""SNAKE FEE"". What I called and they said $95. If I could give no stars I would. BEWARE DONT USE. THEY HIDE FEES. AND DONT TELL U TILL THE JOB IS DONE.

Today Kamaka and his assistant Chris did an explosive awesome job changing out a 1966 cast iron community stack behind the kitchen/bathroom wall to ABS piping. And just before, they had an early morning graveyard shift job at the Mililani shopping center. Then when done came over to my place in Aiea promptly, on time, and worked on the piping till 12pm. Every thing was check and DONE. They were friendly and professional through the whole process. Over five different plumbers came over and neither returned my call or just straight-out NO SHOWED! I would highly recommend them!! Mahalo!

I was so pleased with their great work and very reasonable hourly rate for $95. I forgot the young Filipino guy name. He is quick and great. He moved fast and really knows what his doing. He came in on 9/22 at Ewa beach from 11-1:20pm to change the pipe and valves on washing machine.

Outstanding company. I had a gas leak. I called A-1 Budget Plumbing - Kailua and Jackie did not hesitate sending their plumber (Keahi) to diagnose the situation. Following day Pete and his helper, Chris, arrived and had everything squared away in good time. They were professional in every way. Very courteous and respectful of my property. Pete put my mind to rest saying, ""I'll fix the problem and make it look, like this is my own home"". Mahalo nui loa.

We had been having problems with our toilet bowl leaking and wobbling! My husband tried to tighten the bolts so the toilet wouldn't wobble however it cracked at the bottom. We bought a new toilet bowl to replace the cracked one but my husband was having a hard time screwing in one of the bolts. We were worried because our house is old built in the 70's that maybe the problem was the foundation shifting and would need to have a big expensive job done to drill new holes in the foundation to fasten properly the toilet bowl or even worst have to crack our bathroom tile to fix the problem! Lloyd our very friendly and professional plumber came to our rescue! He cleaned the area where the bolts go, replaced a part that needed to go inside the area where the bolts go, replaced the toilet ring and caulked around the bottom of the toilet bowl. While he did all this my husband watched him. Thank goodness no drilling,breaking floor foundation or tiles torn apart needed! Lloyd fastened our new toilet bowl perfectly, no wobbling, no leaking! We have used A-1 Budget Plumbing many times in the past several years in fact more than 5 times in the last 10yrs and have always had good experiences with them! They are very professional,affordable than other plumbing services we've used in the past, are on time when they schedule when they will be coming to do the job and in our book have excellent customer service!

Would give zero stars if possible. Ok, back up. It started well. The person who answered the phone when we made the appointment to have our broken shower faucet replaced was pleasant, and so was the young man who came out to fix it. The work was clean, and the repair good. Our bathroom is done in burnished bronze fixtures, a fairly common finish, but the repairman didn't have that finish so he asked if we wanted to wait or have him install a chrome ""loaner"" (his words) faucet until the bronze came in, at which point he would replace it ""no charge"" (again his words). We said okay, go for it. He did. A couple days later, the manager called me to say they wouldn't honor that agreement and that we were stuck with the chrome loaner. (The tech put on the receipt that the ""customer would like to order bronze trims for this shower valve to match original finish. That includes shower valve trims and handle, tub spout, delta escutcheon cover,"" but we should have insisted he put his verbal promise to actually change it out on there as well.) When I tried to explain that, the manager quickly became hostile and argumentative, constantly interrupting me and saying we'd changed our minds about the finish and wanted them to pay for it, but the original finish was burnished bronze and the STILL EXISTING shower spout, drain, and drain valve are burnished bronze, which looks ridiculous with the chrome faucet they put in, so why in the world would we have agreed to chrome if it was supposed to be permanent?! We never agreed to chrome fixtures that don't match anything in the bathroom or even in the shower. BAIT AND SWITCH. RUDE. ARGUMENTATIVE. BELLIGERENT. Going to have to pay someone to fix their work now. $800 down the drain. STAY AWAY. Wish I could post a pic...

I was totally impressed with A-1 Budget Plumbing! The office person was extremely courteous and called me within the specified time to let me know the plumber was on his way. The plumber, Kai, introduced himself and was extremely polite. He completed the job quickly and the bill was more than reasonable! I will definitely call this company again should the need arise!
