I have been using A-1 Budget Plumbing for years. Had an issue with bathtub drain and called on a Tuesday and although they were busy already, they called back to offer a late appointment the same day or first thing the next day. Kai (plumber) came out on Wednesday and took care of the issue. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I totally recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

Within service window, Lloyd was very professional, fast and he was equipped with both experience and good equipment to clear a drain clog that has vexed me. He explained the bill, which was less than I budgeted for, and since I've used the company to deliver + install Toto toilets and a Delta fixture, service the pressure regulator and put in a new on-property main cutoff valve, change all the football screw-type cutoff valves with the new ball types, solder in a new cutoff for the dishwasher feed. All the work that A-1 has done for me so far has been under-budget, reliable, and trustworthy. From the initial calls to dispatch/schedulers, the first person that you talk knows something about plumbing and your needs, they schedule carefully, communicate at every step of the way, and I think that it's a great model for a company. I really am not interested going ""cheap charlie."" If you're interested in quality of life, check them out. IMHO.

Last week, I had an appointment for repair work from 3-6 PM. I had to take time off my day job to accommodate the plumber. He didn't show till around 6:30 PM and didn't leave till after 9 PM. I have a follow-up appointment today, 3-6 PM (and took vacation to accommodate A-1 Budget Plumbing). Sadly, it's now 6:15 PM and the plumber still hasn't show. Very inconvenient and somewhat unprofessional.

These are my preferred vendors. I've used them about 3 times already. But today. For some reason, they totally failed. I set up an appt for the evening, their first availability. Window was 4pm-7pm. I had to call them at 6:45 and 7:45 for updates. They said they would call me back, but both times they didn't. Pretty much wasted a good 5 hours of my time. Confirmed. The office didn't call me back as they said they would. Instead I get a call at 8:30 that they are on the way. Of course I'm not going to fault the plumbers. It's the office that didn't do their job

Honest, legit service. Had a leak with my disposal. Had to make an appointment about three days out (including New Years so pretty good). Andrew came in shorts and slippahs and I was thinking ""I need my garbage disposal fixed not install a surf rack"" but he knew his stuff. Replaced my disposal with a cheaper but mid range model - which seems just as good. He recommended moving the disposal from one sink to the other but couldn't due to the piping layout. But he explained everything clearly and humored my not-so-handyman questions. All in all getting charged for a new disposal isn't what I called for but the labor hours and retail price of the disposal seemed pretty reasonable. And he cleaned up after himself pretty throughly. I'd recommend A-1! (The old disposal was old so even though I didn't want to replace it initially, it was a good idea. I didn't get the feeling he was up selling me - and the new, cheaper one is pretty quiet :)

I called them Sunday when my garbage disposal started leaking. They made an appointment for Monday. The plumber was very professional and replaced my disposal in record time along with some necessary other repairs. He was neat and very nice. I highly recommend A-1!

Our plumber David came out. He was very professional and super thorough. He got our drain clear and water flowing. He cleaned up very nicely after he was done. Highly recommend.

I tried to snake out my clogged main water line myself but was unsuccessful. I also could not find a plumber whom I knew who had a mechanical snake. My friend recommended A1 and said the plumber that he uses also recommended A1 so I called them immediately. I got a same day appointment within 6 hours but they came way earlier. Everything was awesome-the service was quick and proficient, the plumber was really courteous and very informative (recommended never to use flushable wipes ever!), and the price was extremely reasonable. I would not hesitate at all to use them again. I'm glad to say that I now have a go-to plumber for plumbing issues.

The plumbers had been to my house for multiple jobs in the past 2 years. No matter who they send the men are knowledgeable and extremely professional. The reason I give A-1 a 4 is due to the lady who does the dispatching. I believe her name is Jackie. I think I had an issue last year too. I had a 2 day job at my house this week. Three times this week, this lady would misinform me of when the men would be at my house. Today I was heated, I had an appointment this morning. The plan was to call the company and inform them when my appointment was done. I already knew who was coming and that worker will be working another job that morning until I was done with my appointment. I call her at 9:15 and said I was done with my appointment. She replied that the specific worker was at another job. Which I already knew that. I told her what the plan was after my appointment and told her I would be at home in 20 minutes. She said ok I'll let him know. Within 2 minutes she calls back telling me that, ""I sent him to another job."" I flipped out and she corrected herself that she sent him a 8:00 job. Duh, I already knew that, he's already there. I said that, I'm the way home is the plumber on the way to my house too."" She said no, she said that she will call me to let know to not to hurry home (I did not intend to rush home). She said that she would call me when the plumber was on the way to my home. I decided to go other places near my house. I waited and waited, no phone. My property manager called me and said that the plumber had been waiting at house for some time. I was heated because this has happened about 3 times to me where the dispatcher told me she would either call when the plumber was on his way and the plumber would be at my house already. She continued to misinformed when the plumbers would be at my house. This cause the worker to be waiting time waiting for me to show up. It made me look bad.

Very good service. The plumber called earlier than expected and I was out for lunch. He went to the next customer and then called later to check if I was home. He finished the job professionally and quickly. I had to replace the garbage disposal that is leaking and also fix a leaky pipe on the left side of the sink. All is done under an hour. Price is reasonable considering Friday was a holiday, Veterans Day is Saturday. It is the same rate as weekdays.
