A-1 saved my a**. I knew something was wrong when there was a strange sound coming from under the house and a spike in humidity in the laundry room. I had 2 different plumbers referred by American Home Shield come over, neither of whom could fix it. (One blamed a leak in the washing machine, another a leak in the water heater.)

I found A-1 on Yelp and send a request at 8:20pm. Less than 20 minutes later, Michel called me and said he would have his team at the house first thing in the morning. Two great and friendly guys, Ziggy and Junior, were at my door at 8:30am. They quickly diagnosed a BURST WATER PIPE beneath my house. Within an hour, Ziggy was under the house and expertly replacing the older pipe with brand-new copper pipe. He texted me videos and photos every step of the way so that I could forward to my insurance company. They left the house and the yard spotless. My jaw dropped when I saw the bill ... it was significantly less than what I expected for everything for the amount and sophistication of the work performed.

I hope I don't need a plumber again in the near future, but I've stored A-1's number in my phone in case I do. They deliver a quality and class of service well above any service I've ever used.

Wish I could give you a review of their service, but I didn't get that far.

I asked for a quote to instal a smart toilet. He quoted me a 1,000. Regular toilet is 250. I try to explain it's hooked up the exact same way, but he held firm. It's crazy to charge more than the cost of the actual toilet. Hard pass.

Junior, the technician is friendly and helpful. He explained the problem. He used the camera to show me the broken pipe. The problem was solved using the liner. I was given a 10 year warranty.
They finished the job in two days and cleaned the area. I certainly recommend them.
