5 Star was dispatched to my from my home warranty company Old Republic because my blower motor was going out. They stated that I had an ECM motor that needed replaced and they could not locate it. Then told ORHP that they were unable to locate the OEM blower motor and would have to transfer work order. 5 Star wanted to replace my entire A/C system.
Unethical!!! It was a standard blower motor that the new company that was dispatched had on their truck! A/C up and running again and how it cooling off! Thank you Honest Air Service!

AC went out on Sunday, waited for our regular company to call back,, 5 Star is 24 hours, called them early Monday, came promptly that morning, gave us service call price, credited against repair, up and running by the time our regular guy called back. And it runs better than ever. We have new heating and AC and/or plumbing if needed.

After being in my house for a few months now I wish I never revised my first review, 5 star plumbing sucks and after having a reliable company out to fix there crappy work and several 100s of dollars later please pass this company by when looking for a plumber....they suck

I asked for annual services on new/one yr old home, hvac ""tune up"" and tankless water heater descaling. Had coupon price for tuneup and asked several times for a quote on water heater. Told need 2separate appointments/techs and could only inspect and estimate water heater for $40 service call(absorbed if repair?authorized) no quote. Doesn't figure right but took a chance. We'll the tune up was half a##ed, never looked at air handler filters or heat performance. Then second guy said around $400 for dascale(or more I don't recall) wich I declined or $40 charge. BS In their defense the owner did offer a lower price and didn't charge the fee OK, but i was assured I would get a reciet for the tune up but 3 weeks later still waiting Now I have to call and demand the receit and listen to bla bla bl

My water heater broke and flooded half of my house. Called five star they came out and told me it was my water heater that broke. Didn't do anything about it, didn'tturn off the water, didn't drain the water heater didn't do anything and left after I paid him $49.

I called Five Star after another plumbing service flaked on a job. They told me a technition would be out at 1:30. At 2:45 the tech finally arrived. Not his fault he was late. This business is in Hemit,and I'm in Cathedral City. So be aware,what every time they give you...add another hour . The technition,Josh was great. All we had is a simple leak in our faucet hose. Unfortunately,he said,we do Not replace just the hose. You have to buy the entire faucet. We said ok,we will go buy one and have them install it. Then we were told that they do Not allow that. They said we had to buy the faucet from them ,which was 3 times what it costs at Home Depot or Lowes. Finally,they said ok...but they would have to charge is 380.00 for the install. So,to replace our faucet ,it was going to cost almost 500.00 . What a rip off. What a ponzi scheme they have going. The technition Josh was very helpful in trying to lower the price..but the company just wouldnt do it. So,we hired a plumber,bought a faucet,and the job was done beautifully for 180.00 . Do your homework. These plumbing companies are a huge rip off. They charge you a fee to come out and then overcharge for everything so you either say forget it( in which case they keep the money for the house call) or they charge you triple for the work. Do not use these bait and switch companies. Find a good plumber and go with them. The only reason tlfor the one star is because Josh the technition was so nice and helpful. Too bad he works for such RIP odd artists.

Needed to unclog drain, and was feeling stressed due to renovations at the property. Tech David brown comes up in here handles and leaves like a boss! Hands down such an awesome dude. Thanks David !!!

Had another thermostat issue and Terissa provided amazing customer service. The technician was unable to come during our initial appointment but Terissa was super responsive to mitigate the issue. She was courteous and provided me updates even after hours and provided the first next available time to make up for the first appointment. Joe came ASAP and fixed the issue. Highly recommend this company!

I needed a new water heater. They charged me $2500 to install a $600 water heater. They didn't finish the job and didn't complete installing a new fixture in my shower. Sent another crew out to ""finish/fix"" the first job. They fixed the water heater, turned the water back on and promptly flooded the garage causing substantial damage to my daughters just moved in and not unpacked belongings. They took pictures of the damage and literally fled the house.
** Find a different company!**

This company cannot be trusted and what work they do complete is questionable and very overpriced. Just my fair warning
