A very unfortunate repair call. Two young men came and their assessment was a weak fuse and adding two wire extensions to the thermostat. Now they hit the contact button and told me check and replace if necessary. Of course the ac cycled and did not come back on $ 295.00 charged, Called them again and the same two returned watching them I knew they were lost and and now wanted $300. I told them to disconnect their install of the $300 contactor. insisted I pay them $85 for service call and told me their boss would not dispatch them again. Call another company and their approach was entirely different Firs the electrical system was systematically checked and problem was located. simply found problem in short order to be at the control panel and fixed ($160). it was delivery of 17 volts not the 24 volts. Fixed now my wife with cancer does not need to suffer from heat.
Have not heard anything from 5 Star of apology for blotched job.

Absolutely not, my old heat pump/ac starting last week has been getting less cooler by the day so we called to get it serviced figured we need refrigerant and would get it charged and wait till winter to asses getting a new system. 5 star showed up and told me R22 refrigerant was expensive at the cost of $465 per/lb. $1,350 for 3 lbs of refrigerant is grossly price gouging and taking advantage of people saying you can't get it anymore and its being fazed out "" which is true"" but that price is borderline disrespectful. Quick call to a HVAC contractor I work on jobs with and he told me that price was outrageous and is sending someone now for literally a fraction of the price. 5 star should be call 1Star for trying to take advantage of people.

We needed a water detection, 5Star was at our home within an hr. The techs ran the detection, found the leaks, explained everything in detail as to what needed to be done.
Very knowledgeable ,easy to understand. The price was doable, 5Star was the bes,which was appreciated due to being on a fixed income. The work these techs performed was done in a short amount of time .

We had a water pipe leaks between the water meter and our house, but this pipe goes through our neighbor front yard! We called 5 Star and Grabiel came to fix the issue for us! Now we have water to our house! Reasonable price and quick service! Highly recommended.

We had a sewer blockage somewhere between the clean-out and the septic tank. Called our home warranty company and they can have a plumber out to the house next Tuesday. No way! The water company I work for has used 5 Star Plumbing to service the central air for several years. So I called them. They had a technician at my house in a little over an hour. Problem fixed, quickly, efficiently and professionally. I've worked for this water company for over 18 years, and I have declined to recommend any plumbing company to our customers. However, I will recommend 5 Star Plumbing, Heating and Air. I am confident that they can do the job, whatever it is.

5 Star was dispatched to my from my home warranty company Old Republic because my blower motor was going out. They stated that I had an ECM motor that needed replaced and they could not locate it. Then told ORHP that they were unable to locate the OEM blower motor and would have to transfer work order. 5 Star wanted to replace my entire A/C system.
Unethical!!! It was a standard blower motor that the new company that was dispatched had on their truck! A/C up and running again and how it cooling off! Thank you Honest Air Service!

AC went out on Sunday, waited for our regular company to call back,, 5 Star is 24 hours, called them early Monday, came promptly that morning, gave us service call price, credited against repair, up and running by the time our regular guy called back. And it runs better than ever. We have new heating and AC and/or plumbing if needed.

After being in my house for a few months now I wish I never revised my first review, 5 star plumbing sucks and after having a reliable company out to fix there crappy work and several 100s of dollars later please pass this company by when looking for a plumber....they suck

I asked for annual services on new/one yr old home, hvac ""tune up"" and tankless water heater descaling. Had coupon price for tuneup and asked several times for a quote on water heater. Told need 2separate appointments/techs and could only inspect and estimate water heater for $40 service call(absorbed if repair?authorized) no quote. Doesn't figure right but took a chance. We'll the tune up was half a##ed, never looked at air handler filters or heat performance. Then second guy said around $400 for dascale(or more I don't recall) wich I declined or $40 charge. BS In their defense the owner did offer a lower price and didn't charge the fee OK, but i was assured I would get a reciet for the tune up but 3 weeks later still waiting Now I have to call and demand the receit and listen to bla bla bl
