So I just found out that I needed to service my tankless water heater. I called 5 star to see if they could do the service and they were able to come out within a day. Fernando showed up on time and even called prior to arrival as a courtesy. He and his son were very professional and informative. He asked if there were any other plumbing concerns that I had and I didn't, but just asking goes a long way in my book. Definitely someone that cares about his business. I will be calling them in the future if needed!

So this is the 2nd time that Ive tried using 5 star plumbing. The first time was when my water heater busted 8 months ago and I needed a quote to replace. 5 star quoted me about $700 dollars more than the other plumbers who gave me quotes. Needless to say, I went with somebody else and just figured they were a bit higher (no worries, water under the bridge).
The 2nd time was today when my sprinkler water pressure regulator went bad. My usual plumber doesn't work weekends, so I figured id give 5 star another shot. Fernando showed up on time, accessed the situation and quoted me $750 to replace. My initial reaction was WOW!! Now, Im not an expert so I just assumed thats what the price would be. 5 minutes after they left, my regular plumber gives me a call and tells me that hes in the area and is going to stop by and check the regulator (GOD IS GOOD). He stops by, looks at the problem and quotes me $210 to replace and perform the same work. $540 LESS!!!!
I immediately called 5 star and ask them to cancel the job. Definitely a little upset, but just relieved my original plumber called. Fernando calls me back a few minutes later and ask what the issue was, and if it was the price. He states that he would work with me on the price if that was the issue....?!?!?!?!?!?!?! (I thought to myself, why didnt you just give me the best price upfront). I politely let him know that I found someone who will do it cheaper and is of high quality work. I let him know that the $750 was too high, and shared with him the prior experience about my water heater. We wished each other the best of luck, and ended the conversation. 5 star customer service is great! Its everything else that I am not pleased with. One of the worse feelings in the world, is when someone tries to take advantage of your kindness.

DISCLAIMER: I am only leaving 5 stars out of respect for the company and its current standing (rating). I hope that they do the right thing going forward. However, if I see that others are having the same issues as myself, I will change it to the appropriate rating.

Five stars is more than just their name. It's their service quality. My house is old enough it collect social security, so naturally there's something wrong with the plumbing. I just finished using my garbage disposal to destroy all the sweet potato peels that I had spent all dinner prep peeling. And that's when it happened the sink started to back up, the water was orange, and the smell was horrific. So, naturally as a strong independent woman, I took the plunger to the sink and prayed that would work. It did not. Then I call on my strong and handsome husband who begins to take the ubend apart and doesn't see the problem. And that's when we knew we had to call a plumber. after a referral from a friend we reached out to five star. They were able to come out the same day. He instantly saw what the problem was. Again our old house amazed us by having a ridiculously shaped drain pipe and the clean out valve was on the inside I stead of the outside of the house. Fernando was able to make suggestions and fix it. He relocated the clean out valve to the outside of the house and now everything looks great. He did a great job and even cleaned up after himself. I highly recommend them for all plumbing needs.

I had an accidental phone toilet flushing incident. My parents had referred 5 Star to me after they had completed some work at their house. They came out the next day and completed the service in about an hour. Highly recommended, for professionalism and quick response.

If you need a plumber who is honest and will do the job correct at great price then use 5 Star Plumbing. Our house flooded because of a ""soft clog."" The main line needed a new T. Concert needed to be removed and three feet of dirt before they could get to the problem. The job was not too big and their crew easily handled it very professional.. they have a customer for life!

Fernando responded quickly to my inquiry. The technician Ramón came out and was on time and very professional. After a few issues with our old pipes and tub knobs, he had a solution and had to order the special knobs. Since our house is a little older I appreciated someone with knowledge about old pipes. If you are looking for a reliable plumber in Redlands I highly recommend these guys!
