I called him out for two different jobs this month alone and every single time I've had nothing but professional service and reasonable pricing. They came out first to replace the stopper in a bathroom sink that had broken in the closed position so we could not drain the sink. It took him probably 30 seconds to diagnose the problem and another five minutes to replace the mechanism. We then called them out for air-conditioning maintenance and he was able to check over the unit and give us some great tips on how to do better preventative maintenance to make it last longer. They were even able to work around my work schedule so I didn't have to takeoff hours unnecessarily.

I hired 5 Star to repair a ceiling fan and lights. They were able to quote me a better price than much of their competitors, fixed the problem quickly, and even installed a holder for the new remote. The service was very professional, very pleased with the work they did.

Had a drain clog on Sunday morning. Called 5 Star. Plumber was here within 30 minutes. He was friendly and went out of his way to give me GREAT advice to prevent my issue from reoccurring. Sunday price was very reasonable and was a flat rate which blew my mind since he was here for a long time and had to do some troubleshooting. Their business is accurately named. Our kitchen sink faucet handle broke off. Ben Ali from 5 Star emailed me a quote right away via Yelp, and it was $60 less than another plumber. On Sunday, he responded instantly to two of my emailed questions about what type of faucet to purchase. He arrived on time, wearing a mask and shoe covers. My 92 year old mom lives here, so I really appreciated the respect and protective gear. He did an excellent job, cleaned up, and was very polite and professional. I highly recommend Ben, who is based in Roseville and part of 5 Star and also Ali Construction. We'll call him again with any future plumbing needs.

Oleg did a great job installing ceiling fans for us. Only issue was with scheduling, but we got it done and we are very happy with the outcome. I don't usually give 5 stars for any contractors, so don't see this as a minus that I only gave 4. We will definitely use him again.

Our kitchen faucet stopped letting water out. I had recently changed out the Garbage Disposal and since i know nothing though it was a clogged pipe and somehow it had something to do with it. It didnt. --side note - (all of Sacramento County and surrounding area use and sell parts almost exclusively for Insinkerator garbage disposals. I bought a Wase King based on Consumer Report review for best 1hp garbage disposal. It grinds bones people. We apparently have an old sink and i had to wait 3 days for an Extended Flange, due to our sink being so old). Extra $33. Anyways, back to the review.
ADAM came out from 5 Star Plumbing. My gf found a deal there for around $145 to inspect our issues and they had good reviews and could come out timely. He was awesome. I sort of was expecting to be upsold which was not the case at all. He was extremely knowledgeable about our home, explained the type of pipes we had, why the faucet stopped (easy removal of faucet filter due to build up from turning the water off and back on). Told us where our pipes are and that we wouldnt have to break concrete to get to them (like a previous plumber had said). Informed us the ones under/in our house are good because they are all copper, etc etc.
I picked his brain on everything about the house plumbing, and wrote a paragraph on it to myself for the future . He was happy to share his knowledge. He removed the sediment. I asked him about the low pressure in our hall shower, he did the same to make it have a little more pressure & explained how it works.... The bathroom sink was leaking from the hot water valve & thought ot needed replacing. He stated they are, i think he said, $60 to replace per valve, we said Lets Do it! He went underneath the sink, tightened it and it stopped leaking. Said replacement wasnt necessary yet, but when we do, to use Quarter valves. I asked for a quote to replace the plumbing, he gave one to us. He didnt try to rip us off. All in all he was really great. We are definitely going to call 5 star plumbing again when we eventually need to do the replacements to our old house and we are going to ask for Adam.

5 Star really lives up to their name. I noticed my water heater was leaking slightly a few months ago and had them come check it out. I thought it was a simple repair but turned out to require a full water heater replacement that I just had done this week. They credited the amount I paid for the initial diagnosis toward the installation of my new water heater! Adam was the technician both times and he remembered the details of my case like it was yesterday. He is personable and professional, and really took the time to answer all of my questions. The actual installation was fast and efficient, and he took a look at my drains for me free of charge while he was here. I will be calling 5 Star for any plumbing needs going forward!

Ivan did an awesome job mostly on his own to replace our furnace and AC unit. He also replaced the small section of fence that was very old and unsteady on the same side of the house as the unit. What was going to be a two day job turned into three because he was taking all the necessary steps to make sure everything was done properly. He was kind enough to explain answers to all of our questions and accommodate our requests. While we still are waiting on an inspection, I'm confident all is working well and efficiently.

Ivan from 5 Star came out right away and made great efforts to help revive my ancient system. He was polite, professional and explained everything he was doing and educated me about the process. Unfortunately we were unable to come up with a way to resuscitate my system. But I was very happy with Ivan's efforts and his integrity!
